Lyle’s place was fabulous. The setting was great. Perfect for what we needed. It was such a neat place, very accommodating. His booklet explained everything we needed to know. Whenever I had a question he was very quick to respond back to me. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to others!

Spacious, well stocked, private apartment located outside downtown Pittsburgh. It was spotless upon check-in and quiet enough that I was able to read all the books in the unit during the winter months. Rachel was a great host who was prompt and helpful to any inquiries.

The Barber’s House is a refreshing change from the typical rental. It’s full of history and heart - formerly a real barber shop for 70+ years, now lovingly renovated by the barber’s family. The house feels lived in, looked after, and meaningful. Location is perfect: right on Main Street, walkable to restaurants, coffee, shops, the Strand Theater, and the park. No car needed. Inside, it’s spotless and cozy. Two comfy bedrooms, a solid kitchen, and blazing fast Wi-Fi (over 400Mbps!). Great for relaxing, working, or exploring town. Beth was awesome to communicate with - helpful, thoughtful, and clearly someone who cares. This isn’t a corporate Airbnb - it’s a family home with deep ties to the town, and that makes a difference. You’re not just renting a place to crash, you’re stepping into a story that’s been unfolding here for generations. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer.

The modern renovations to a quaint, old home were beautiful. Everything was clean and new. The coffee bar and high-end bath products were lovely touches. The proximity to town made exploring the many restaurants and shops easy and fun. Lastly, Jennifer was a wonderful host. She was patient and responsive to all of my questions and made my first Airbnb experience enjoyable and stress-free.
