The spit is a must when in the area. The treehouse cabin is stunning. Amazing views, super comfortable, beautifully decorated and a great outdoors area. The cute doggies are an added plus- super friendly and love to go for a walk in the forest. Beautiful spot which I’d definitely go back to. One of kind stays which is one for the books! Kitchen was well equipped and I felt right at home- I would definitely come again!

My friend and I stayed at Nelia's place on our garden route drive. It was a lovely unit on the farm with a friendly animals. Nelia was responsive and also provided us homemade bread, apricot jam, and honey which was delicious. It is a bit difficult to navigate in the dark but Nelia greeted us at our car and walked us to the unit.

Lovely place. Was great to sit outside and watch over the the farm and see all the animals (incl. elephants in the distance). Our little one loved greeting all the animals every day. Only need to take your clothes and dinner. Carrie provided all the necessities incl. lovely sourdough bread, jam, eggs and even some great chilli. Was easy to sit back and relax. Close to both Knysna and Plett and lots to do around.

We were warmly welcomed by Michèle and also had the opportunity to meet her loving family. The place is about a 4km drive from the N2 main road on a gravel road. With a small car, you can drive that piece at ease, but that is perfect to do with some patience:-). Once you arrive, you will find yourself in an oasis of peace in the middle of the forest. It is a perfect place to relax and at the same time serves as a base for getting off to the Plettenberg region (25min drive to the beginning of the bay). Pass by the supermarket if you get there the first day. You can cook the first night in the cottage and you don't have to go on the road anymore:-).
