Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Hardenburgh

We had a lovely stay at this remote little cabin home! It feels more like staying at a friend’s house while they are out of town rather than other types of Airbnb rentals. This is someone’s home, with personality, coziness, and a great view! We saw a ton of wildlife, including beavers, deer, and a black bear, so there is plenty of nature small and large.

We stayed here for the weekend to hike and explore the area. We loved the cabin. It is well kept, had everything we needed for a weekend - coffee and maker, towels, bathroom supplies, spices, games, etc. The hot tub was a nice plus! It was in working condition and felt very private even though there are two properties on both sides of the house, we only saw the neighbors a couple of times in passing and never saw them while we were in the hot tub. There's tons of hiking trails nearby and lots of other things to do within a 30 min to 1 hour distance. The cabin was clean and cozy. Host was very friendly, responsive, and gave easy clear instructions. We would definitely stay here again!

This home is a great retreat in the Catskills, it feels intimate while still having the space for you and other guests. Would visit again!

Beth’s & Tom’s place was great - very clean, looked exactly like the pictures and was very close to main st of Livingston Manor! Super cute and convenient! Would love to stay again!

Another review said it was more beautiful than the pictures and I agree! The home and space was so serene even though it was a bit rainy. Katie’s place is perfectly adorable and exactly as described! The three bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen/dining room was perfect for cooking and hanging out. We were there during a heat wave and Katie’s A/C and fans kept the place nice and cool. The Airbnb was quiet and a neighbor’s sweet old dog wandered into the yard a couple times looking for scratches.

If you're looking for a quick & easy escape from the city, look no further than the Cooley Mountain House in Parksville, NY. Trade out the wailing sirens of emergency services for the sweet sounds of songbirds as you settle into a pleasantly isolated enclave of the Western Catskills. The house itself is meticulously furnished with beautifully appointed touches of comforting modern style, welcoming you to a truly memorable stay. Some personal highlights included relaxing in the hot tub and watching the sunset paint the sky with early summer hues, eating breakfast on the deck and spotting a pair of foxes playing beyond the trees, curling up on the couch to watch a movie and trying out the Bose Soundbar...consequently convincing me I need to get one. And although clouds got in the way of the stars we were hoping to see at night, I still gladly give the Cooley Mountain House the five stars it deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My 3 friends and I stayed here while attending Mountain Jam and felt comfortable and at home. There was plenty of room for us to spread out between the living room, dining area and back porch. The kitchen was well-supplied with appliances, cookware and dishes. Their property is so beautiful and the apartment is even nicer in person than in the photos. It is a garage apartment offering complete privacy. It was just a 15-20 minute drive from Belleayre. Bob and Jackie are wonderful hosts, very attentive and responsive. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Such a perfect location for a weekend in new paltz and the views from the patio/hot tub are absolutely spectacular. Ami was a great host!

Great spot to get out of the city for a few days. Perfect location for us as it was very close to friends we were visiting in the area. Walkable to a local coffee shop, cafe, deli/market, wine store, and gas station. The apt was very clean, bright, and had a wonderful historic charm to it. Very quiet, even for being on the main street. Highly recommend staying here for a central location to lots of lovely small towns, hiking, skiing, swimming, fishing, beautiful drives, and good local food. Jen and Caroline gave us great instructions and there was plenty of info in the apt when we got there on how to use the locks, lights, and whatnot.

Katherine’s place is absolutely beautiful! It’s in the center of town so it’s very walkable but peaceful at the same. You can’t ask for a cozier place to spend your time in Kingston!

This is a great home. The decor is inviting, the kitchen is spacious, and the backyard has a great view. Really enjoyed the peace and quiet too.

I had an amazing stay at Lisa's place and felt so comfortable that didn't want to leave. but definitely booking again for next catskills adventure. Thank you Lisa for allowing my stay at your wonderful retreat from the norm of life.

Our stay here in Newburgh was lovely! This place was well-stocked, very very clean, fabulously eclectic, and spectacularly spacious! We loved having two restrooms and being so close to the river and to Hudson Taco!! As the Host mentions, do carefully consider how much you care about “neighbor noise.” While I brought slippers to kindly observe the “no shoes in the house” rule, the tenants above us rudely did not. We couldn’t hear voices, but the heavy footsteps kept us awake until 1 o’clock in the morning on a weeknight and woke us up at 6:30 AM on Saturday morning. The dog scampering around or crying and whining loudly every time it was left alone in the house was also hard to bear despite our bringing ear plugs. We would 100% stay again if Sarah would kindly have us. We’re sure to have more considerate neighbors next time. Thank you for creating such a lovely space at an affordable rate.

The pictures of this beautiful spot don’t do the landscape justice. The place is tucked beside a gorgeous green farmland backdrop that I fell in love with. Each morning, I woke up to the birds swirling around the property, which was soothing to hear. Inside, the space was just as welcoming as the outdoor scenery, with the warm tones of the color palette of the decor and the cozy nature of the room. It was a perfect place to stay while my friends had their wedding ceremony at the D&H Canal Museum. This city slicker will definitely be back!

This condo is absolutely beautiful and comfy! We especially love the bed and pillows.

Daria and Justin were lovely, responsive hosts. It’s a great little apartment — super clean, well equipped with all the basic necessities, tasteful, well thought out decor, a really pleasant place to be, right on the mountain. Small, but perfect for a couple or small family ski weekend. I would definitely recommend and would love to go back.

Mary’s place is nice and clean, right in the center of town. Walkable to restaurants and coffee shops. Perfectly set up and spotless. The unit is supplied with everything you could possibly need. By far the best organized, supplied and clean Airbnb we have ever stayed in.

This is my second stay at Daniel’s, and it was just as good as the first! I love the location of his place in relation to the mountain. It’s a quick walk up the parking lot to the trails/lifts. Most importantly, my pups feel right at home, and they know his place now! His home is always clean and the linens/towels always smell fresh! I told him I will be coming back multiple times throughout the snow season to go boarding. He is very responsive and helpful and would go out of his way if need be! Overall, 12/10 recommend Daniel’s spot!

5 stars, 5 stars, 5 stars!! I would just like to say I’ve stayed in many Air B&Bs before, and this one is by far one of my favorites. The hosts are absolutely amazing. They are proactive in responding and really want you be be comfortable and making sure you have no issues. The price was 100% worth it. I love that they included board games as a part of the space, such a nice touch. The bathrooms and bedrooms were also so clean, and we enjoyed our stay. You can really tell the hosts put a lot of love and care into this place. I can’t say enough good things about them!

Robert's place was a delight! Spotless with many thoughtful touches. We went for a spring snowboard trip to Hunter and didn't try to walk to the lifts (due to the conditions), but the drive was only a few minutes and super convenient. Robert was very responsive and friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The property is great with a lovely deck and well equipped. Highly recommend this property; we hope to be back!

We had an amazing stay! The home was exactly as pictured. The location was perfect—just a 30 min drive to Kaaterskill Falls and 5 mins to the local restaurants, but tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Michael was responsive and made check-in a breeze. We especially loved the beautiful views from the hot tub and how comfortable the space felt after a day of hiking and exploring. The sauna was a great surprise! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful escape to the Catskills. We’d absolutely stay again!
