Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Hamden

I and my son feel very happy and comfortable living there, although the elevator doesn't work, it seems always under fixing. After all, the location is so convenient to everywhere, for example, SOM, Peabody Museum, and Hillhouse Ave. Almost all Yale shuttle lines stopped there. It is a happy time to eat while watching TV news in the living room. The scenery from top of the building is beautiful. We saw the sunrise and snowy town. That is amazing! The neighbors are very friendly. Guest in No. 34 helped us on carrying the luggages. He has a dog with three legs. What a nice and kind young man! In the basement, there is a gym and guests-room with sofas. G cafe closes after 5pm. My friends and I had a talk there which is nice. The Nica's is nearby as well which is very convenient. With Grocery line, we shop at Trade Joe's on weekend to save money. There is a big refrigerator to save food for one week. The door has an electronic lock which is very smart and easy to use. Good to stay!

Great location - Next door to Yale Old Campus. Caleaha was responsive. Apartment was clean and as described. It would be perfect if shampoo were provided.

We really enjoyed staying at Kyle's Air BnB! The building was easy to find, and it was easy to locate the keys and get inside the apartment. The neighborhood has a lot of great restaurants and is very much within walking distance to the main Yale campus. The apartment was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed (microwave, fridge, etc.). The bed was VERY comfortable. We appreciated the option to check in 3 hours earlier for a small fee. Would stay here again!

I enjoyed staying at this clean, private studio, conveniently located just a couple of blocks (less than 10 minutes' walk) from Yale. Alicia is a responsive and helpful host. The building is not fancy, but I felt safe and comfortable. I was very satisfied with my choice to stay here.

Everything was super easy and great! The apartment was tidy and cheerful and had all the basics you would need for your stay—everything was just right! It was easy to get in, and all Jarrett’s instructions were super clear, about entry and about parking, neighborhood, etc. would definitely stay here again!!

Overall, I had a good stay at Ronnie’s place in Meriden. The place was clean, spacious, and had everything I needed for a comfortable trip. It was in a convenient location—easy to get around and close to restaurants and stores. The only small downside was that the bed could’ve been a bit more comfortable. Not a major issue, just something to note. All in all, it was a solid stay and a good value for the price.

Julie's place is located in the Yale campus. It's convenient to go around the corner to have a cup of morning coffee, buy groceries in the market or CVS, and go to restaurants in walking distances. I like about how the place has a gym on the first floor. As a host, Julie is very responsive through message. She helps solve a network issue very efficiently and whenever I ask her if she has anything I need she would respond in minutes and help me find those. She offered to compensate me with 15$ a week for laundry fee and was so kind and hospitable all the time! I really enjoy the stay and I would definitely stay at her place again if I will be around New Haven.

Steve is a great great host…I would recommend everyone to try this place…great house, awesome location, everything is available nearby… go for it guys and I bet you will not regret later..

The place was great!! Exactly what we were looking for and a terriffic location.

There are not words to describe how helpful Brian was. He is super responsive and easy to communicate with. He always answered any questions or concerns I had about the apartment. The apartment is a must see. Its in a peaceful neighborhood. It is safe and secure. Great local restaurants--shopping malls and shopping centers. I stayed there for 11 days and was so sad because I wanted to extend but he was fully booked for the rest of June. My slowness in extending was someone elses gain because the apartment is "GREAT" I recommend it to anyone who wants to be in the downtown Hartford area.

Enjoyed our stay in the woods with a beautiful view of the river. Easy to get to and very close to the charming town of New Milford and many good restaurants. Although right off a busy road it was quiet inside the house. The great room, which is on the top floor, is wonderful and perfect for both working and entertaining and has a full bath. It looks like the photos with an amazing view. The bedrooms and another bath are underneath. The master bedroom is the best. Just be aware you can hear the footsteps from above and not all of the bedroom windows have bug screens. The entertainment room on the lower level which opens into the yard is filled with games and a large tv and was lots of fun. The weather was cool & rainy so we didn’t use the outdoor space as much as we thought we would but there was a kayak. The house was private and although there is no interior deadbolt we felt safe. The house was clean with good heat/ac and wi fi. Hosts were responsive.

My family and I had our Thanksgiving here this year. Unbelievable kitchen. I mean, STOCKED to the brim, I barely had to use anything of my own from my place. We felt super cozy by her fireplace, loved our morning beach walks, and enjoyed her amazing selection of board games upstairs. I have to say that the listing doesn’t capture the sheer SIZE of the home. So much privacy for everyone, and enough comfy gathering spaces to spend time together. Also, the beds were so comfy! We will totally book with them again in the future.

Victoria was a gracious host - always quick to respond, flexible, and willing to assist. Entire process was easy from start to finish. In my opinion, the house was actually better in person than pictured in the listing. We were happily surprised with the cleanliness and comfort. The garage was a nice added value!

This charming, rural home has a touch of mid-century fun throughout. But the best part is the gorgeous lawn and waking up to the sound of the rushing brook right outside the window. Rebecca was so friendly and responsive and included lots of little touches that were very thoughtful.

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous lakehouse! Honestly, the pictures don't do the place justice. The lake was lovely, and the house was well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The furnishings and decorations were far nicer than you often find in an airbnb; it felt like a true home. Everything we could have possibly needed to enjoy the lake was provided, from canoes and kayaks to inner tubes, and the kitchen was well-equipped with all manner of cooking utensils and basic spices/condiments. Linda and Dick were great--very communicative and easy to get ahold of, but left us to our privacy otherwise. Would absolutely go back again!

Jan's house was a great stay with plenty of room for six adults. We loved the game room and outdoor hot tub. Instructions for the hot tub were clear and easy to follow. We'd definitely stay again!

We live in the neighborhood of Liz’s house and held a 3 day reunion of 17 old friends staying both in her place and ours. Yes, it’s even better than the pictures! Lots of large, spacious rooms for gathering, wonderful outdoor pool with tons of seating, exceptional kitchen where of course everyone tended to congregate. Am already thinking about a future large family gathering. Liz was a gracious, helpful and generous host. We can testify from long experience living a few houses away that the neighborhood, beaches and sound make a wonderful setting for a gathering. Very appreciative that Liz and family share their house with others this way.
