We stayed at the property in May, the garden is beautiful at this time of year, there was a lot of blooming wild garlic and all kinds of wild herbs. The trees were full of bloom. The garden is fantastic. For this reason alone, the accommodation is highly recommended.

Just a top location to stay in. Have been there several times because of work. Unfortunately, the following weeks were already booked. Els and Melson thank you. P.S Your son will still get some money for the Ducks eggs.

Really a nice and cozy stay with a lovely view on garden and nature. You can walk onto the heath in no time. Everything that is needed is also present in the garden everything perfect. The outdoor kitchen can also be used with rain due to the spacious canopy. Friendly hostess who also responds quickly to the app.

We had a wonderful time at Joke's. The cottage is very nice, high quality and cozy. Everything you need is there and the kitchen is also very well equipped. There was a small grill on the terrace that we could use. The garden is beautifully landscaped with many seating areas. Here you can enjoy the sun and the peace. The breakfast was very lovingly arranged, delicious and varied! Thank you for that! There are smaller towns and cities in the area. Groningen is only about 30 minutes away by car. We particularly liked the proximity to the Drentsche Aa National Park (about 20 minutes by car). There you can take short and long hikes in a beautiful landscape. We highly recommend the accommodation and will definitely come back :)

We had a nice night and had a nice night. The beds were lovely and the house had everything we needed. 1x accidentally went out of power, but the host responded very quickly so we had power again within minutes. Was also indicated not to turn on the stove and coffee at the same time but we had not read yet. The cottage looks cozy inside and out. We enjoyed it.

We had a very pleasant stay here. The location is perfect. Close to the city and yet on the countryside. However, it is useful to have your own car with you. The accommodation was spacious and everything you need is present. You also have a nice view of the garden and outside there is a nice sofa. Communication with Elly and Jan went well. We would definitely come back here.

Had a nice short stay at Arnoud. The car stuff felt in the right place for this space. Bed slept well and everything went smoothly. I'm coming back here!

The stay with Gerda is TOP, wonderfully quiet place with lots of space. The conservatory is a great extension of the stay which more than doubles the living space and the cozy decor makes you feel right at home. I really can't think of anything negative. A 10 with a griffel. Highly recommend.

Centrally located, neat and beautifully furnished accommodation. It's great that you can put the car in the garage under the apartment. Everything is walkable and can be reached in max. 15-20 minutes. Eduard gave us a lot of tips about the city and the restaurants. We gratefully used that. There is also a supermarket in the area, convenient if you prefer to have breakfast in the apartment. The café around the corner is a cozy neighborhood pub where you can immediately strike up a conversation with the castle and city residents. Good to know: there is no water point in the room and to reach the bathroom and toilet you have to go one floor down to the (partially shared) corridor. The latter two are tastefully and practically furnished, so that compensates for the distance. I would bring a bathrobe next time. Otherwise, a great stay and recommended!!

I'm very excited about everything: the space, Wim and Els, the surrounding area and not to forget, the lookout tower! I'll definitely be back.

Fantastic place! Delicious natural/garden. Fantastic hostesses! Cozy cottage by the pool. Place to sit outside and a fire pit. Breakfast was good. Cottage well clean, I think that's important. Centre 5 minutes. Groningen 20 minutes. We had a great time.

The apartment is beautiful and in a very quite area. We enjoyed our stay a lot. It is big enough to fit 6 people comfortably. And there was a very cuddly cat which was awesome.
