We had a fantastic stay at Henk and Ineke’s lovely place. It was spacious, beautifully furnished, and even better than the photos (thanks to some upgrades since our reservation)! It’s clear that Henk and Ineke truly care about creating a great experience for their guests. They were friendly, flexible, and always approachable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here and would love to visit again sometime. Oant sjen!

A beautiful temporary home away from home! We were lucky enough to spend Christmas in Dina's tiny house. It was even more beautiful than expected, completely quiet and private....but with all the amenities we wanted. The sauna was a dream, especially in the cold, wet weather. Dina is a very likeable host and we were very happy to have decided on Ellertshaar. For us, one of the most beautiful Christmas we had. Dear Diana, Thank you so much, we will be happy to come back!

A perfect wonderful piece of nature! Great for relaxing and very private and quiet. The north of Holland is easy to explore from there! As a small present, Femke and Eric gave us something from their garden, which was a surprise in the bedroom - super great! Thank you again for everything:) and definitely see you someday!

Great cottage in the woods. It was peaceful and clean.

We have enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage. The area is wonderfully quiet but everything you could need is also nearby (supermarket/restaurants). The cottage has more than enough amenities. The dog also enjoyed the large enclosed garden and the surrounding greenery. Sidenote for the tall people among us... the bath is fantastic! With my 1.85 m I even had space left! We will definitely come again!

We had a wonderful week. The cottage is great, our dogs enjoyed the well-fenced garden. For the first time, our (somewhat anxious) dog preferred to be outside rather than inside. Several seating areas in the garden, wonderful that you can choose sun or shade. Beautiful surroundings with nice free-range areas. The cottage is well equipped, everything is complete and more than sufficient. Beds are nice. In short, everything was perfect, definitely worth repeating.

Amazing place to stay for the legs Groningen - Zuidlaren and/or Zuidlaren - Rolde when hiking the Pieterpad (or just in general if you want to have an amazing tranquil stay in a beautiful garden oasis. The house has all the amenities one could wish for and an amazing bed to top it all of meaning you’ll be completely rejuvenated for the next leg of Pieterpad.

We were at a vintage car meeting in a neighboring town and were looking for a house where we could act freely and flexibly with a dog, which was quick and easy to reach and where we could feel comfortable.

The house is nice and bigger than we thought. Everything was nice and clean. It has all the things to enjoy a small or large break of daily life. Very recommended!

Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted with coffee and small tarts - a loving detail that set the tone for our entire stay. The hosts, an incredibly friendly and authentic couple, immediately made us feel welcome with their warm manner. The cottage is nestled in a fairytale setting, surrounded by forests and dunes that invite you to take long walks and hikes. Cyclists will also get their money's worth here – if you like to explore nature on two wheels, bring your bike! The cottage itself is equipped with everything you need. It is clean, cozy and offers enough space for two people. The dreamy bed is particularly noteworthy – very authentic! Those who stay here should be aware of what a special place this is. It is not a place for materialistic luxury, but for people who appreciate the real, the natural and the lovingly designed.

To our lovely host Diet. She was excellent and very responsive. At the beginning it was little confusing about getting there but when we arrived it was very easy to find. It was excellent and peaceful for our family stay. We were aloud to use bikes so that helped us a lot for good shopping. Canoe rides were excellent. I think we cannot picked better spot for us. Neighbours were super friendly and welcomed us with smiles and fantastic attitude. We will for sure come back. 😊 Diet- thank you for having us 😊

We were so happy to find a place where our dog is welcome and where there is also a great vegan breakfast! Pascale is super nice and gave us a lot of tips for excursions, second hand shops and restaurants, so unfortunately time flew by! Pascale also lives on the property in the neighboring house, but you have enough privacy and she is also very considerate! The place is highly recommended! ♥️

We were only in the house for 2 nights but really enjoyed the pleasant, quiet park. The house immediately felt very comfortable. The instructions for getting the key were clear. The house was clean and the beds nicely made. We went swimming in the swimming pool at the park 2 x. Nice bath to swim/play together. We had the tub both times whole.al for ourselves. My 11 year old son was also a fan of the panna cage and basketball place. Our mini vacation was too short. We will definitely be back.

This was one of the best places I ever stayed in all respects. The place is wonderful and the surroundings are so beautiful. There are endless things to do on bike, by foot, or by car and the area has such a rich history. Annemarie is extremely wonderful, very helpful and personable. I loved the ponies and wish I could stay longer in Fryslân!

Great quiet place to relax ☺️

A very peaceful get away with great amenities on the site. We went away with 2 young children and a baby. The home catered extremely well for us with a well stocked kitchen and a beautiful local area to explore. Cannot recommend this place enough.
