Perfect location and size for me and my son. Would do a small family - sofa bed worked well. Kitchen is compact with everything you need. On a second floor with quite a few stairs- not an issue for us but if you don’t do stairs that would be the only issue. Felt private and safe. Didn’t need to meet Dean but every interaction was great. Thanks!

Great cottage in a quiet place, with beautiful surroundings just 5-10min by car! Perfect to explore Bempton Cliffs (wonderful landscape and hundreds of thousands of sea birds, including the very popular puffins, spotted during the Easter weekend) but also the Flamborough Head area. The cottage itself was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Great host too, who messaged us to allow early check-in and was very responsive to our messages during our stay!

Fran and Dickon’s place is in a beautiful location; so peaceful, with the silence only broken by the chorus of birds! They were responsive and friendly hosts, who obviously care very much about the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. Their personal touch was very appreciated. We would stay again.

Me and my husband stayed for a weekend with our labrador Chester for our anniversary and babymoon. The stay was super dog friendly with a private back yard down some stairs so you can let your 4 legged friends out for toilet breaks easily, the sofas were prepped with blankets and the hosts even provided a dog bed and bowls for us to use. The hot tub accessed through the private garden space was such an amazing experience, inside the silo the swallow were nesting and flying around above us. Such a magical little find ✨️ We can't thank Rachael and Mark for hosting us, we loved every second and can't wait to visit again. We've stayed in a few air b'n'bs now and this had everything you could need, we only had to bring ourselves, food and clothes/essentials. It really was a home from home and you could quite easily spend a whole week here, no problem. We wish we could have!! I also loved the fact you could buy the artwork placed around the barn too.
