What a great little gem in a beautiful setting. The space is perfect for two and the accommodations are comfortable. Great for getting a little work done and then enjoying the view and the lake. Lake living is the best. Very relaxing. Mike and Vanessa were lovely and the process was easy. Highly recommended.

Tammy was a wonderful host and very responsive. She even took it upon herself to contact us and let us know we could check in several hours early. Her place was spotless and everything looked practically new. The "house rules" were short, sensible and not burdensome in the least. The kayaks were great fun and a wonderful amenity. It's also a very convenient location to a lot of the area attractions. It's almost right on a section of the Palmetto Trail, which we were there to bike. She even allowed us to store our bikes in the downstairs mud room, which was perfect to keep them secure and out of the way. The surround sound system was a cool amenity as was the huge shower with the multiple shower heads. Great getaway!

I loved the place, because it was close to a lake, that is, the place was quite relaxing.

The time we spent at Heron's Roots was wonderful. Waking up in the morning overlooking the lake filled us with such peace. It's a place with beautiful vegetation and filled with many little birds that captivated us with their singing. San and her husband are wonderful people and very attentive, making our stay very pleasant and making us feel at home. Upon arriving in our hometown of Orlando, we were already missing the place and the peace it offered us. Thank you, San & Karl, for sharing such a beautiful place. Awesome oasis in tree-covered canopy! We stayed at the airstream more then we ventured out! We loved the outdoor area and even took a nap on the sofa! We took numerous dips in the hot tub and grilled out! We loved the tree-lighted areas indoors and very detail has been thought out! Thank you for a wonderful getaway and would definitely recommend to others! Loved tubing with Brevard Tubing .3 miles away! Hiked to waterfalls in DuPont State Park. Well worth it! Beautiful! Walked in downtown Brevard to shop. A must!

We rented this house for the week of Christmas. It was the perfect space for us to spend time together. The view of the lake was great! The house was as described and met all of our needs from the bedding and towels to the kitchen cooking accessories. Would love to rent this in the summer to enjoy more of the outdoor space.

we really enjoyed our stay. being able to break my our small dogs made it feel like home and we enjoyed doing the goats each morning. the place had everything we needed and the view from the back was so peaceful. thank you for a great stay!!

The house is beautiful, spacious, and relaxing, with an amazing view of the lake and surrounding wildlife. Spotting bald eagles, blue herons, and hawks was a special treat.

Casa del Lago ranks up there as one of my family's favorite Airbnb's! The pictures definitely don't do justice to how beautiful the house is, as well as the view and the proximity to the lake. When you're sitting at the table in the dining area, it almost feels like you're on a boat. Things to note: - There are lots of towels and dishcloths for the kitchen, as well as hot tub/lake towels, and bathroom towels. - There are plenty of extra blankets and pillows. - There is a grill AND griddle on the covered patio overlooking the lake. - The house is sparkling clean and we'll maintained. - The hosts are quick to respond if you have any questions. We will absolutely be going back to this special spot next time we need a getaway!

We booked literally last minute as our previously booked AirBnB turned out to be a problem. The previous booking had just cancelled and we were lucky enough to find it at the right time. The host said they didn’t have time to clean prior to our booking but they came right over and cleaned as we arrived. So it all worked out and we definitely should have booked here first. The house is right on the lake with its own dock for lake access. Kayaks are provided as well. The house is perfect for a family or a couple looking to getaway. Large beds and bedrooms. The kitchen is stocked fairly well with pots, pans, utensils and the grill on the deck worked well. Would definitely book again if we are in the area visiting family in South Carolina.

knowing we were bringing our 15 months old granddaughter with us, Chris provided a pack and play, high chair and even put safety plugs in all the reachable outlets. this was a wonderful, much needed get away for me and my family to recharge and play outside. The list of things to do was wonderful idea given our original plans to see Little Chapel fell through. We spent most of the time on the property. thank you for sharing your beautiful place!
