This newly built mountain cottage nestled in the woods has all one needs for a cozy getaway to Western North Carolina. Our property is located next to DuPont State Forest which is so close you can hear the waterfalls from the front door. World class mountain biking/hiking are just half a mile away. Lake Imaging parking lot is 0.5 miles, Hooker Falls is 0.9. It is conveniently located only 20 minutes from both Brevard and Hendersonville where wonderful restaurants and activities can be explored.

We offer 5 beautiful, private and quiet acres of forest in Cedar Mountain. The cabin is just 1.5 miles from the entrance of Dupont Forest. Bike or hike the trails and come back to put your feet in the creek at one of the most relaxing places you'll find. Lots of space for your dog or kids run and explore. BIG yard with a creek, bonfire pit and rope swigs overlooked by the large porch of the cabin above is perfect after a day on the trail. The 1/4 mile of creek has a trail to explore as well.

Enjoy everything Western NC has to offer from this spacious, private, and comfortable log cabin home. Hiking, mountain biking, swimming and waterfalls are all available in the adjacent Dupont State Forest. The cabin is 15 minutes from Pisgah National Forest and 20 minutes from Hendersonville and Brevard. AS OF 2025 there is high speed Wifi (Starlink), and as a result great cell service. AND THERE IS NO LONGER A CARETAKER ON THE PROPERTY so guests have the whole property to themselves.

Come stay and play at "the Alpine A", a unique A-frame cabin on five acres, with 200sqft treehouse / party pad! 4WD / AWD is required. Located in a private, peaceful, forested mountain setting. Still, we're not far from the action- the cabin is located about a mile from the historic town of Saluda and Pearson's falls. Our a-frame has plenty of charm and many recent updates. Cozy one bedroom log cabin with large private back deck and hot tub. While being surrounded by nature can be an enjoyable and a relaxing break from hectic day to day lifestyles, please realize that this cabin is in the woods and we do have carpenter bees and camel crickets along with some ants. We strive to keep the pests at bay but they are part of mountain life. Shared spaces include the fire pit along with the overlook bench.
