Holiday rentals with lake access in Greer

Layne was so helpful. She was great to work with. Her place was really great - comfortable with gorgeous views!

My family (2 adults & 2 children) took out a few days in Tryon for Spring break (March 2025). Firstly, the location and home were exactly as shown online. The location is extremely private and there was no wear and tear which made all of us feel like we were home from home. The bedrooms (3 in total) were large and spacious, the kitchen well stocked with basic sundries which allowed us to cook every night. Spending time together with breathtaking views was icing on the cake. The winner was the games room in the basement which we spent numerous hours at - pool table, giant Jenga, card game etc. Off the games room was a lovely hot tub which overlooked the mountains which was thoroughly used by all of us. Peter was extremely responsive to questions and super helpful which made us feel extremely looked after. I would highly recommend this location and I am sure we will be back again!

My husband and I loved our stay here and this will definitely be our “go to” place when we visit the area again! We rented Nancy’s home for an extended weekend to attend our daughter’s graduation and to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We arrived and checked ourselves in with clear, simple instructions. We were pleasantly surprised with a cake and a very thoughtful card from Nancy congratulating not only us but our graduate as well. The home was well stocked with starter supplies and even some snacks. We absolutely loved the bed and both slept comfortably each night! We grabbed dinner from Dacusville Pizza Stop our first night there since we’d had a long day of traveling and it did not disappoint. Also enjoyed unwinding on the back deck and just relaxing in the peace and quiet!

We rented this house for the week of Christmas. It was the perfect space for us to spend time together. The view of the lake was great! The house was as described and met all of our needs from the bedding and towels to the kitchen cooking accessories. Would love to rent this in the summer to enjoy more of the outdoor space.

Casa del Lago ranks up there as one of my family's favorite Airbnb's! The pictures definitely don't do justice to how beautiful the house is, as well as the view and the proximity to the lake. When you're sitting at the table in the dining area, it almost feels like you're on a boat. Things to note: - There are lots of towels and dishcloths for the kitchen, as well as hot tub/lake towels, and bathroom towels. - There are plenty of extra blankets and pillows. - There is a grill AND griddle on the covered patio overlooking the lake. - The house is sparkling clean and we'll maintained. - The hosts are quick to respond if you have any questions. We will absolutely be going back to this special spot next time we need a getaway!

Vickie was the best host I ever have. She had great recommendations all the time.

knowing we were bringing our 15 months old granddaughter with us, Chris provided a pack and play, high chair and even put safety plugs in all the reachable outlets. this was a wonderful, much needed get away for me and my family to recharge and play outside. The list of things to do was wonderful idea given our original plans to see Little Chapel fell through. We spent most of the time on the property. thank you for sharing your beautiful place!

The living room has large windows that give you great views of the lake. The Bed was comfy and the water gets really hot; both of which are important to us. The kitchen was stocked with drinks and snacks. We got in late and wasn't able to go to the store until the next day so this was very much appreciated. And whenever we had a question the host was very responsive; 10 min or less. We would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven.

Tammy was a wonderful host and very responsive. She even took it upon herself to contact us and let us know we could check in several hours early. Her place was spotless and everything looked practically new. The "house rules" were short, sensible and not burdensome in the least. The kayaks were great fun and a wonderful amenity. It's also a very convenient location to a lot of the area attractions. It's almost right on a section of the Palmetto Trail, which we were there to bike. She even allowed us to store our bikes in the downstairs mud room, which was perfect to keep them secure and out of the way. The surround sound system was a cool amenity as was the huge shower with the multiple shower heads. Great getaway!

What a great little gem in a beautiful setting. The space is perfect for two and the accommodations are comfortable. Great for getting a little work done and then enjoying the view and the lake. Lake living is the best. Very relaxing. Mike and Vanessa were lovely and the process was easy. Highly recommended.

We booked Greg and Lisa's place because it was very near to family we were visiting at Christmas. And, even though it was right in the middle of the busiest Holiday season Greg and Lisa were very responsive with any request or questions we had. We were quite pleasantly surprised to see the kitchen is more well equipped than how it appears in the photos. There is a new 2 burner induction cooktop as well as a small countertop oven. We were eating with family elsewhere, but I feel I could have prepared a full meal in the kitchen if I had needed or wanted to. We also appreciated how comfy the big sectional sofa was. It was perfect for cuddling and watching a movie with our daughter whom we hadn't seen for a long time. Thanks Greg and Lisa! We will probably be back!

The time we spent at Heron's Roots was wonderful. Waking up in the morning overlooking the lake filled us with such peace. It's a place with beautiful vegetation and filled with many little birds that captivated us with their singing. San and her husband are wonderful people and very attentive, making our stay very pleasant and making us feel at home. Upon arriving in our hometown of Orlando, we were already missing the place and the peace it offered us. Thank you, San & Karl, for sharing such a beautiful place. This was our second time staying with Karen and Katie in Saluda! The property is beautiful and the cabin so welcoming. It really is the most perfect place to escape to for a few days!

The cabin is beautiful and peaceful which is what our family was looking for. We enjoyed all of the amenities, and the kindness Michelle showed our family. It was clean and offered everything you needed to cook and enjoy your surroundings, even a BBQ and smoker. The beds were comfortable, and linens were good quality. Lots of extra towels if necessary. Thank you, Michelle. We enjoyed your lovely cabin in the woods.

Wonderful cabin nestled in the woods. You feel secluded but aren’t far away from Hendersonville or local things to do. The cabin was great—clean, had everything we needed, and the extra touches that make it feel like home. My dog loved the huge property and I loved that it was fenced in and safe so he could run around off leash. Brian and Michele were lovely and made check in and check out easy (no crazy list of things to do when checking out like a lot of airbnbs!). Will definitely be staying here again when I’m back in the area!

This is the second trip we have made to this location over the last couple years. The location right on Lake Bowen and the large screened porch make for a very peaceful and relaxing vacation! Very well maintained and owner is super helpful with instructions and helpful tips.

This was my second visit to Marthas and once again it did not disappoint. This time we decided to book specifically for a father son fishing trip. We had a blast caught plenty bass blue gill and some catfish. I normally never catch any bass but they were pumping on my hook all weekend. Martha is always helpful very responsive and so polite she always leaves a little snack in kitchen when you enter. The furniture is cozy and very comfortable the setting is relaxing and beautiful view. The neighbors are polite great restaurants nearby and easy to drive to with many grocery stores close by the locals are so friendly and welcoming.

I have stayed in a variety of Airbnb properties and this is my favorite so far! The location alone is absolutely perfect!! Being able to hike into Table Rock State Park was amazing and the property is very private, so it was everything that I had hoped for (and more). The house itself is exceptional! Everything was spotless and clean, the space was decorated perfectly, and every single detail was thought of. There are wireless phone chargers on each nightstand, a large battery backup system in the living room in case of power outages, snacks and drinks waiting, and walking sticks outside of the door (just to make a few things). On top of all of this, B.T. sets a new standard for Airbnb hosts! He is exceptionally responsive, friendly, and committed to providing a great experience! If I could rate this stay higher than five stars, I would do it without any hesitation.

Cute, cozy, felt right at home! The screened in porch and hot tub were an added bonus that we truly enjoyed.
