Spring Ridge Yurt-True Glamping-Hot Tub-Nantahala

AudreyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Gorgeous views, great location, the hot water was actually hot (unlike other Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in), the hot tub was ready to go, the host left us snacks. It was just such a wonderful experience. We will be coming back. If I had to pick ANY cons, I’d be really reaching. You are one of four yurts (we didn’t realize we would have “neighbors” but it’s set up in such a way that you still have privacy.). Also, you are close to the road so occasionally you will hear cars, but the sound of the river much overpowers that. Plan for no reception; we were fine with that. We plan to come back again with 2 more couples. I will definitely miss falling asleep to the sound of the river Now, what I wish I would have known as a car geek - we accidentally went through Tail of the Dragon on the way there. Had no idea it was here. Was sad to have a big ole SUV riding that instead of my sports car! Plan accordingly. :)

Eco-Chic Mountain Zen Yurt (Peru Shapibo)

JulieRating, 5 stars31 months ago
Absolutely loved our stay here and can't stop talking about it! The location worked great for us to enjoy a day in Knoxville and The Great Smoky Mountains. We also enjoyed a quiet and peaceful day! If bugs freak you out, this may not be your place. We didn't experience them in the yurt, but you do come across them with the bathroom and outdoor kitchen set up. However, if you can accept being one with bugs, you won't regret the beautiful shower set up! I am sure we will be staying here again in the future :)

Venue@MountainFiesta FarmHouse, Yurt, Barn

AutumnRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
My husband and I got married here 5/10/25. Originally we planned to get married in October and had to reschedule due to the storm. It was an easy switch and the property is beautiful. There is a garden, the creek and bridge are lovely. The barn was a great space for my small wedding. We had an amazing time and so did my friends and family. Brenda and Mo are accommodating and friendly. I would recommend low key or small weddings here 👍 Jack Jack made us laugh alot. Thanks for sharing the space with us for our special day!

Communication was great and the folks at Seven Springs were wonderful to interact with. We appreciated a quiet refuge to escape to and their great local recommendations for hiking and beverages.

Eco-Chic Mountain Yurt Retreat Center

CaliRating, 5 stars92 months ago
My friends and I adventured here for my birthday and we haven't stopped talking about it! Mary is a bright light in this world and her wonderful spirit shows through in Seven Springs. We had 7 people in 4 yurts, all of which were uniquely decorated and freshly cleaned. The campfire was stocked with wood, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the showers and bathrooms were very clean. On the last day, we had a yoga class in the open air yurt which was a great way to end the weekend. Highly recommend asking about that! So... STAY. HERE. I can't recommend Mary and Seven Springs enough. My friends and I can't wait to come back and hike in the smokies and stay in this little patch of good vibes again. My only recommendation would be to pack extra blankets in the fall because it does get cold at night. :)

Creekside Cove Luxury Yurt w/Hot Tub in Nantahala

LindseyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We loved the surrounding town, the peaceful area and yurts so much last year that we came back for a second time! The yurts are amazing and the area provides a relaxing atmosphere, as well as the sounds of the connecting rivers are so calming. We left something behind and the owners were gracious to send it!

When I read the description on the website, I doubted that it was that great. It was that GREAT! It rained every day, but the place was so peaceful, we didn't care. We cooked on the grill and ate most of our meals on the deck. We look forward to another visit.

Eco-Chic Mountain Zen Yurt (Guatemala Mayan)

JosephineRating, 5 stars19 months ago
We loved staying at the EcoVillage in the Guatemala yurt. Mary, a sweet caretaker of the land, messaged us and met us at the village upon arrival and gave us a tour of the shared bathhouse and kitchen as well as the yurts and trails and attractions on the grounds. She informed us that we were the last booking before they closed for the season so the grounds were very quiet and peaceful. We walked the labyrinth, ate in the kitchen (there were some herbs in the garden we could use), the bed was comfortable (there was a bed warmer to keep us cozy despite the October chill), the showers were nice and hot, and the yurt was so fun to stay in, we wish we could have booked a longer trip! We saw squirrels all over the place, some deer bounding through the adjacent field, and a few crawly critters just like with camping. We went to sleep to the sound of the babbling creek. Overall, we had a peaceful night surrounded by nature and we would definitely recommend and book again!

Mountain Laurel, Yurt Village (#73) Big Blue Yurt

SusanRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We loved our stay at the big blue yurt! It is cozy and homey inside. Comfy beds, a fireplace, great water pressure in the shower, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make our two night stay a great experience. We loved hearing the cows across the road, and all of the other wildlife around the property at night. We weren’t always sure what we were hearing (lol!) but we did find elk tracks beside and around the back of the yurt on the first morning. Check in and check out we’re both easy and hassle free, and our host, Chastity, was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Spacious Off-Grid 30 ft Yurt Cabin on Private Knob

WintaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Jeri was an incredibly kind and friendly host. She went above and beyond in making us feel welcome and at home. She even set up dog beds for our two dogs. She was responsive to all our questions and gave us privacy as well. She had everything prepared for a family getaway. She made sure to warn us about the abundance of ticks in the tall grass so we tried to keep our dogs in the cut grass area. In the future we will need to tick drop on our dogs prior to arrival. She provided sprays for humans and dogs as well. We loved the privacy of the yurt and the amenities provided (electricity, warm water, stove, board games, firepit). Will be back!

Comfy Yurt in Brasstown, NC

TannerRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Brasstown is a hidden gem. If I have the chance to return here, I will. Debbie’s eco-village is clearly a labor of love with her heart and soul poured into every detail. Anyone lucky enough to book the spot will be thrilled. My dog loved the creek area. This is a great base camp for exploring the surrounding Nantahala National Forest and John C. Campbell folk school. If you are wanting to unplug, this is the perfect setting to wake up to the sun and birds singing in the morning instead of an alarm, and go to sleep with the stars instead of screens. Wonderful setting.

Forest Yurt Escape | Hot Shower, Wi-Fi, Firepit

KateriRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was the perfect tranquil location in the Appalachian Mountains. This eco yurt was so quiet and serene you really could soak in nature… plus we had some clear nights to stargaze which was beautiful. Plus we could bring the dogs along for the stay as it is pet friendly. With hiking near by, it was an ideal in nature retreat for us. Definitely will stay again!

Tuckaseegee @ Sky Ridge Yurts

ValerieRating, 5 stars14 months ago
Our 2 night stay at the Tuckaseegee yurt was great! Easy check-in & entry. Bed was comfortable and heat units kept us nice and warm even when it was 30°F outside!i The hardwood floors are beautiful as is the bathroom. We were glad we brought spring water for drinking as the water had a sulfer smell. Next time we'll know to bring ice cube trays or ice with us as well. We spent time in the National Park, Cherokee, Bryson City, and hiked a few trails. We would absolutely stay at the Tuckaseegee at Sky Ridge Yurts again!
