Our cabin is located 12 miles out of Franklin, NC near the Little Tennessee River. We are in easy traveling distance to whitewater rafting, kayaking both flat water and whitewater, fly fishing rivers, gem mining, zip lining, horseback riding, Deep Creek tubing, river tubing , The Appalachian Trail, hiking trails, waterfalls, Smoky Mountain Train excursions, Cherokee attractions/casino, Dollywood, Smoky Mountain National Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway, Elk viewings and Biltmore Estate in Asheville.

Custom built with plant and farm lovers in mind, with greenhouses full of amazing plants to explore. You can visit our farm during your stay to meet our livestock too. Located on 60 acres of wooded land only minutes from the Appalachian Trail. It’s in a spectacular and unique location with easy road access and Hot Tub too.

Awaken in a luxury king size bed and slide open the garage door to sweeping views of the Smokies. Enjoy coffee on the deck. Fully furnished bed and bath, AC/Heat and kitchenette. Pets permitted $40/first pet $20/each additional pet. Area is fenced. Listen to the river while lying in the in-deck hammock. The perfect stage for a restful afternoon or night time stargazing. Stay in our rustic, cozy, tiny cabin, The Hawks Nest, tucked into the woods on our remote 162 acre farm. Far away from the crowds but close to hiking and rafting in Cosby, the Adventurous side of the Smokies awaits! The Farm at Stillwater Sanctuary is a beautiful space, with five horses and a mule, friendly pigs, farm dogs, chickens and ducks with farm fresh eggs when available upon arrival, a fire pit, hiking trails and a pond to swim in on hot summer days. This is a truly unique getaway!
