Holiday rentals with lake access in Great Barrington

My wife and I stayed here 2 night with our dog and had a great time. The cabin was super cozy and had everything we needed during our stay. Special shoutout to the couch, which was extremely comfortable for late night movie watching! If you are looking for a quiet weekend away to do some hiking, I would certainly recommend staying here. The town of Becket is very rural and food options can be somewhat limited but the house has a full kitchen and grill to use if that's more your style. Overall 5 stars would stay here again.

This was a bit of a last minute decision to come to the Berkshires and I was grateful that Tiffany could accommodate some quick changes. The house is just as described--lots of space, nice setting, pool table was fun (and cool in the basement), and I appreciated that our two dogs could be included. Even though the house is in NY, it is not far from the hiking trails and museums. We would like to come back--a lot more to see and do in this area.

Had a great time with friends for the weekend. Beautiful view of the lake and plenty of space. Everything is labeled in the kitchen so you can easily find everything you need!

We had a slight delay to our trip due to health issues but Lisena and James were very understanding, flexible and caring. Very flexible with our check in and out during our stay since we unfortunately had to shorten it. We are looking forward to planning another night soon. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We visited the general store right down the road, definite must see, very cute friendly family owned store and was impressed with finding all local milk and products and also gluten free options for baking etc. we also went to Stockbridge to explore the town and to hilltop orchard.

Peaceful, perfect getaway. Jaryn’s cabin on Lake Garfield was the ideal escape—cozy, quiet, and surrounded by nature. We loved the lake access, morning coffee on the porch, and how easy everything was.

We went in February. Even with snow no problem to drive to the house. It is perfectly located. Remote but still close enough to everything. It is close to nice hikes. We would love to come back in the Summer or so as it has its own lake access. Kitchen is perfectly equipped if you like to cook. I always like if you have a separate dinning table - to eat, work, talk. All very clean with personal touches. We can just recommend the place highly. And Jaclyn was a great host - she gave us some flexibility with checkout but also was vey responsive. Thanks a lot!

Incredible Airbnb. You can walk everywhere in Troy from here and have a great view of the River. I stayed here for a full month and couldn’t ask for a better spot. Baptiste was very responsive and gave great recommendations all around the city!

The location and space were great! I worked remotely during most of my stay and was very comfortable with my set up. The dining table was a perfect desk, with good lighting and wifi! Slept well due to it being so quiet at night. A positive experience overall.

We spent a peaceful five days relaxing in the beautiful surroundings of this cabin. Steven graciously accepted our last minute reservation and also our request to extend our stay since we were having such a lovely time. No one was staying in the main house while we were there so we had the grounds to ourselves. The cabin itself is spotless and minimalist, with everything you need to cook in the modern kitchen or grill outside. We stayed with our pup and enjoyed walking him five minutes down the road to explore the town park (we had it to ourselves in mid-May but imagine it’s much busier during the summer). WiFi is super fast and we were able to work remotely without issue.

Genuinely one of the most charming and delightful airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in! Julian was super communicative and he gave us plenty of suggestions for places to explore in the area. We will definitely be back!

We loved the studio and felt right at home It was a perfect place to stay while exploring the Berkshires, close to both outdoor activities and the offerings of the town. We especially appreciated the beautiful view from the studio which enhanced rest and relaxation. Jill and Steve were great hosts. Highly recommend.

Can’t say enough good things about this find near Jiminy Peak in the Berkshires! Stayed for three nights while skiing two days over presidents weekend. Hosts were very thoughtful and flexible. Left cookies and s’mores kit which were a nice touch. During snowstorm steps to the unit and walking areas were kept shoveled and salted. For us and our two teenagers this offered the perfect alternative to pricey on mountain lodging and was only about a 13 minute drive. There was even a bonus game room which could probably serve as a small additional bedroom if someone had the need, it certainly has room for a twin air mattress. Our two kids shared the queen bed with minimal fighting, but that would’ve been our back up plan😂. Anyway, they were super responsive, check in and check out was easy and will certainly look to stay again if we get up there to ski again this year !

A wonderful spot if you are traveling with a pup and looking for a convenient spot to explore Columbia county. I travel upstate a lot and this Airbnb is one of the nicer ones I have visited. The space was absolutely spotless!! Great dining space, and all the kitchen basics. The star of the show is definitely the fenced in yard. My dog was a huge fan!! The tub in the bathroom is also a nice amenity. Only things to consider, Phimont is a still a town in transition. Not somewhere I enjoy spending time. But there are tons of things nearby. Also, you do hear some noise from neighbors. Nothing that diminished our stay. I really appreciated how proactive and responsive Michelle and Jacopo were. Overall I would definitely recommend!

Great stay!!! Was impeccably cleaned and perfect location between rhinebeck, pine plains and close to the taconic! Arlene was super helpful with all questions and provided new sheets and towels through our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

The lake house is truly gorgeous, especially with the fall foliage. We fell in love with the location and plan to be back soon.

Perfect spot for a peaceful, relaxing Berkshires weekend and/or visit to Tanglewood. Beautiful location of the cabin among the trees, super convenient to lots of hiking, cute towns to wander with great food, and town beach for swimming. And, couldn't be better situated for catching a show at Tanglewood. Sonia was also helpful, responsive, and friendly about all of the preparation details and made the logistics of the trip simple.

Amazing place. Lisa & Steve's cottage made for an amazing weekend. We had pretty bad weather but it was still a great weekend. The lake is so peaceful and the set up of the cottage is perfect. The cottage has everything you need, as well as everything you didnt know you needed! We'll definitely be back. Ate at The Aviary, The Smokehouse & The Maker (Hudson) - all very different but incredible.

It's hard to beat a place like this if you are looking for a peaceful, quiet, and comfortable stay. The lakefront backyard with kayaks, fireplace, heated porch with swing, and amenities to meet any basic need, made this a wonderful base for our group of four adults, a child, and furry friend to explore the area. It's a beautiful country/lake side escape a short drive from a number of villages and towns providing great eats, good shopping, and sightseeing. Highly recommend.

Have stayed in Sonya’s cottage many times and each time is better than the last. Definitely the place I check for first when in the area.

Loved the quick weekend getaway from the city! Wanted somewhere we could stretch out into.. which Ayren’s house fully is.. loved playing the many board games provided and watching movies in the late evenings.. plus a few walks down to the lake and drive to town which is less than 15 min away.. A very communicative host with clear instructions and well laid out amenities and basic kitchen condiments.. Thanks again for a great weekend !

Comfortable and clean with beautiful scenery - on clear days, you get a Mountain view across the lake! Highly recommend.
