Monthly Rentals in Granville

We needed a place to stop to break up a long trip on short notice where we had to bring our dogs too and this ended up being perfect. It was nice and quiet and exactly what we needed to get some much needed rest before our second long day of driving. I love old buildings like this one with all their unique charm! The kitchen was probably my favorite though with its vintage style.

This was the perfect cottage to stay at for our overnight kayak trip to Burgess Falls. It was a short 25 minute drive and also 10 minutes to Cookeville and access to whatever we needed. Really was the perfect location for us. The cottage itself is on a farm, easy to find and was the cutest with so many sheep/donkey details! Right next to it were sheep and donkey which we gladly fed some apple and carrot snacks that were in the fridge. They were all so friendly and after a long drive, this was a fun activity to do before we settled in. It was calming to see the animals out the windows from the kitchen as they roamed around. The cottage is very nicely decorated, updated, clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We slept well in the comfy bed before our long day of kayaking the next day! Alice was very nice and responds quickly! Wish we stayed longer!

We absolutely love this home and hope to come back to stay again soon. Did not even realize we were going to have a lake view. Rented this place in a hurry and mostly because it had a hot tub and was very reasonably priced. We were pleasantly surprised in the morning when we stepped out on the patio to see the surrounding greenery and lake view. Don’t forget the bald eagle, my husband said. Breathtaking.
