Holiday rentals with a kayak in Granite Shoals

My husband and I stayed here because we were going to Bronco Off-Rodeo. It was about a 10 minute drive, so the location was perfect. The home was absolutely beautiful, exactly like the photos. As we arrived we were greeted by two deer in the front yard. Gary and Diana provide food for the deer. One ate from my hand a few times during our stay, which I loved! The home itself is wonderful, with everything you need provided and more! It was spotless, thoughtfully decorated and very well organized. If I needed something, it was already provided down to the sugar and coffee. This is one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in. You can tell this home is cared for and well maintained between guests. I met Gary as he was walking his dog in the evening. He was very kind and told me to contact him anytime if there was anything we needed. The front and back yard are great for sitting outdoors in the evenings and the deer came to visit both evenings during our stay. Highly recommended!

This place was great for a work week getaway. The kitchen is absolutely stocked with anything you might need. The master bed and pillows were very comfy. There are a lot of beds available in this house for extra guests/children, even queen size bunk beds. The house is definitely laid out to maximize guest space. That being said the upstairs (kitchen, living, master bedroom) seems spacious. There are views from the master bedroom and living room to the lake. If the weather isn’t cooperating you can still enjoy the view. Driving into Marble Falls is literally 10 minutes and there is a grocery store if you need supplies. That area has grown a lot and there are many restaurants as well. The owners were communicative however we had no issues during our stay. Everything was clean and working. Would recommend!

The place was really nice. It had plenty of kitchen amenities, a really nice grill, and some nice floats and water toys in the boathouse.

Very clean and had a fenced yard which was perfect for my dog. Kitchen was perfect for our needs and the bedrooms were a nice size. Home is about 10 minutes from Marble Falls where you'll find groceries and eating establishments. Fuel stations right outside the neighborhood were a plus. Lovely place to stay!

This was a great place for my family of 3 to enjoy a week of relaxation and fishing! Great location, quiet, peaceful and we were able to catch lots of fish! We caught perch, lots of catfish, several gasper goo, and even a 30 lb Buffalo that gave a my husband a nice fight! Only 2 negative's that I could mention would be the bathtub draining extremely slow. We had to use a plunger. So we were only able to enjoy the downstairs shower. And the coffee maker...it was dirty and-full of coffee grounds. Took us about 2 hours to clean it where we were able to finally use it without coffee grounds in the pot. But even with these minor disappointments, I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again. The fishing and peace and quiet made it all worthwhile!

We had a great stay! The house was well stocked with everything we needed, including air mattresses, and toys and games for kids. The river location was so beautiful and the shallow water (about 2-4 ft) was preferable for us because we have smaller kids and they liked knowing they could touch the bottom in some places. We also used the paddle board and kayaks (awesome to have them!) to row over to the small island across the river and play on the beach there. The only downside is that we couldn't bring our rented jet ski to the house due to the shallow water but that wasn't much of an issue, as we hung out and swam at the Kingsland community park while the kids waited turns to ride with dad. The rental place for the boats and jet skis is close by (10 min), as is HEB. Overall, a great vacation and the kids are asking when we can return!

We stayed ay Trestle View Retreat with our kids & their spouses plus our six grandkids. It is easy to see why it has all 5-star reviews and lots of them plus is ranked in the top 1% of all Airnbs by reviews. We have never stayed at a rental so well equiped, organized, and immaculately clean. Kitchen was equiped with everything you could imagine and so well organized! The cove was absolutely perfect for everyone to enjoy the kayaks, paddleboards, and lilly pad that were provided. The hosts definetly went the extra mile and more to ensure a fantastic experience and regularly communicated to ensure everything was ok. We would recommend renting a pontoon boat from Wave Chasers in Kingsland to round out a perfect experience. You conveniently pick up the boat from directly across the small small cove. They too were 5-star in contrast to the other boat rental company in town that had poor reviews.

The house and location were great, and we really enjoyed our stay. However, there were a couple of things worth noting for future guests. Either we missed it in the listing or it wasn’t mentioned, but there was only one parking spot for the unit. For a house that can host more people than fit in one car, it would’ve been helpful to know that in advance so we could plan better. Also, the kitchen supplies were pretty minimal—enough to make do, but just something to be aware of if you’re planning to cook.

Loved it here! This was a great find. It was a nice clean room overlooking the river and was on very pretty grounds alongside other rentable cabins. The Spicewood location right on the Pedernales and along lake travis was wonderful, truly waterside with easy access to the kayaks/canoes/paddleboards which you can rent through Travis quickly and conveniently. After sunset I had plenty of room to set up my telescope and had a great view of the moon and stars over the water. It’s right down the street from Krause and several other hillcountry gems. Great host. I’d totally come back.

What a great little house for me, my husband, and our dog to get away from the big city for a few days. It had everything we needed and plenty of space to lounge and play. The views from the back yard were amazing, and having access to the river for swimming was so fun. We also loved how the house was isolated and quiet, but super convenient to drive to Inks Lake for the day, or Burnet for meals and groceries. Would definitely recommend this house to families with kids and dogs looking for a little out-of-the-city adventure.

Juliana’s place was great and very comfortable. It was a little further out than what we were hoping for, but that was probably on me. It’s remote and we had a wedding about 30 minutes away. Other than that, everything was perfect!

This property is so beautiful. We were looking for a place to getaway from the city and Isabels place was perfect. So much love has been poured into this property. Our son ( 2 ) loved the playground and digging in the dirt at the creek, but most of all he loved the dog. I enjoyed quiet cups of coffee in the morning and chaos of my little one all day. Plenty of toys inside and entertainment for us outside. It was the perfect Fathers Day weekend..my heart is so full.. thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us.

Stone Cottage was such a peaceful retreat for us to recharge for a few days. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and floating in the pool surrounded by nature and tons of birds. Birders- bring your binoculars! We had some gorgeous sunsets too. We didn't bring our paddle boards but it's a good spot for all levels to paddle (or kayak) just plan to bring everything down to the dock for the day so you only have to make the hike back up to the house one time- it's steep and rocky but doable. Your reward is cooling off in the pool at the end of the day.

Amazing services he’s always an answer my questions and this places its amazing ! I have other plans for next month , my next plans rent the big house ! Wonderfully atmosphere! One thing guys, buy all the food you need before you come because around here close not have a market. If you are looking to be disconnected and stay always from the people ! This is the place!!! If you wanna have some fun ! A couple minutes have a bad ass music bar !!! 👏 this place !

The house was peaceful and had a lot to offer. We loved hot tub and above ground pool . The fenced in yard with two peach trees and patio were just lovely. We had a well stocked kitchen, bedrooms as well as the rest of the house which made us feel right at home. Lake Buchanan is pretty much a field of stickers due to drought so plan on Inks Lake for your water activities. If you’re looking for a getaway, this is a sweet house. Especially for dog lovers.

Judy is a wonderful host! She communicated with us immediately. She showed us all the amenities of the property and the house when we arrived. The house was a cute decorated Texas theme pattern. She thought of everything in the house! Beds were comfortable! The living room had a pool table and a smart TV. The outside sitting area was very peaceful and serene! Lots of chairs to sit on and take in the views! The lake was beautiful as well as the pool! This was a little slice of heaven on Lake Buchanan. I wish we had more time because the area was beautiful, scenic, and relaxing! Thank you to Judy for hosting your home, being responsive, giving food requests, and providing extras on the lake. We hope to return soon!

It was clean and a lot of space for big families and has everything you need and I recommend it I would like to go back.

Please improve the check instructions for people like me, suggest: Self check in with lockbox. Code will be sent via email/ text. This would have avoided the one small issue we had. As soon as the booking is approved if it were my rental, code would be sent in the app, via text and email, which eliminates any plausible deniability. Loved this little place. Mini splits are very quiet! Blake appreciated all feedback we had to make the stay better for others. I loved that all the switches were marked! Additionally note parking in front of property

Perfect getaway with the kids to start the summer! The cabin was so peaceful and the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. We saw lots of cows on the way to the property and the drive is beautiful! On the property we had so much fun driving the buggy around and finding deer, and exploring the area. The kayaks were fun to cruise up the river. We caught lots of fish behind the cabin and at the last overpass before you get to the property(watch your step there was a few very large snakes there also) but they were harmless and slithered away. The cabin is small but it has everything you need and then some! I also enjoyed reading in the hammock and watching the firefly’s at night. We truly made some wonderful memories and Andrea was so sweet and very responsive. We would definitely come back, thank you for having us!
