The Bunkhouse room w/ private beach ON Lake LBJ

The bunkhouse is a private guest suite...separate from house, with it's own shady deck, lake view, and lots of private beach. It is a NON-SMOKING property. This means no smoking anywhere-not even the beach. Pets are allowed ( dogs) if meet guidelines listed in "other details". ( I also have a guestroom in the house that is listed on Airbnb that sleeps 2 ) I will consider allowing 1 perhaps 2 dogs, MAKE SURE you read additional info in "Other Details" below..

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a problem with the AC the first night but Liza was very responsive and had it fixed quickly. She was very responsive and a great host. She gave me some good recommendations of places to go around town. Her post was very accurate. All the photos and descriptions were right on. It was a beautiful and relaxing get away. Really loved our stay. I would love to go back. Thank you Liza for a great stay.

Late on a Friday afternoon before a long planned family vacation, a home we had rented through another service suddenly became unavailable due to a maintenance issue. That service was unable to accommodate us otherwise. Being in a bit of a panic, we were very fortunate to find this house on Airbnb and contacted the owner (Tim). Tim is a super nice guy and great to work. He was very responsive and provided a personalized experience that you don't often get. As it turned out, we ended up in a nicer home in a better location at a more competitive price. The home is modern and well kept, "very" clean and had much to offer the six teenagers with us. The home is located on the main body of the lake with wide open water and a great view. The home is also within minutes of gasoline/food by water if you have a boat or jet skis. I can truly say we had a great time making memories and highly recommend this location!

My girlfriend and I stayed here while we went hiking and visited the longhorn caverns. We had a great time and even though we were in the suite extended from the house we never heard them or even noticed they were around. We had a blast and definitely recommend staying.

This is an incredible place. Because we arrived late (after dark), we had some difficulty finding the exact location but Larry, the park host, was incredibly helpful and went all out to help us find the place and get settled in. The location is fantastic and a perfect place to chill and do nothing. There are activities (trails, biking, etc.) if you are interested. The park host was fantastic. I give this place my highest recommendation!

We came to the area for the High School State BBQ Competition. Where this house is located it is only 5 minutes from where the Competition was held. That made it very easy especially with the 3:45 wake up call. The house was lovely, comfortable, and made us feel right at home. The game room in the garage was an extreme bonus with our 8 year old. She spent most of her time out there. The rooms were all nicely kept and all the beds were extremely comfortable. They are planning on coming back to the same venue next year for the Competition. We will most definitely be staying here again!
