Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Grand Beach

We rented this property for our family with two little children. Although a bit small , it worked well for our needs. Lovely area, with a short pleasant walk to Lake Michigan beaches. We used to live in this neighborhood so it was very nice to revisit the area.

We loved Melanie's place. it was new and very clean. we loved the mud modern century furniture and boho decor. it was very well stocked, plenty of hand towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, you name it. we enjoyed fire pit outdoor and new grill. we even spotted deer and eagle in the woods behind the house. there is also a short drive to the beach but no parking and walk was too long but still great beach! we recommend this house very much.

Nothing but great things to say / check-in was seamless and communication was perfect. The place was also top notch of course.

We loved staying at Katrina’s place! It was very comfortable, clean and uncluttered. We felt right at home the minute we walked through the door. New Buffalo was a short drive away so had a nice dinner at the Stray Dog. We loved spending time down at the beach and then coming home to grill some steaks. Katrina was very helpful and super communicative during our stay! Thank you for a wonderful weekend away!!

We stayed for a few days with extended family with young kids. The house was very family friendly with toys, baby gates for stairs, a high chair etc. There is a great playground for kids that's a short walk. The neighbor is very nice and scenic and the beach is also within walking distance. We had a great time and would definitely recommend to anyone with kids.

We had a great stay. We were able to walk to the beach; the included wagon, beach chairs, mat, and towels were nice to have. Shops, restaurants, ice cream, and grocery were all just right around the corner. The description and pictures were accurate as well. No complaints. Great location for a beach trip.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s house! It was clean, great location & cozy! We especially loved the automatic pool cover so we could actually relax on vacation with our little ones running around. I also loved the three separate areas outside (pool, fire pit, grassy area). The separate areas offered a nice change of scenery to break up the day without leaving the house. I also loved that it’s a spacious ranch style house, so was easy to keep eyes on the kids. Jennifer was a wonderful & accommodating host & can’t wait to get back to her house soon! Thanks for having us!

My wife, our dog and I stayed at the farmhouse for a long weekend to relax away from the city. It was the perfect country escape- peaceful, tranquil and still a quick drive to everything we wanted to explore. We mostly went to New Buffalo for restaurants and kayaking, and to the Indiana Dunes for hiking. The farmhouse was tastefully decorated with upscale amenities (like the coffee maker we decided to purchase when we got home). Mornings were spent reading on the screened in porch, listening to the birds and watching the chickens outside. There’s plenty of seating if you have a larger group, with tables inside and outside for meals. Stefanie was a wonderful host, her guidebook has great recommendations of things to do in the area and she gave very helpful instructions for the house. We definitely hope to return sometime as it’s so close to Chicago! Perfect weekend trip.

Our group of 4 adults and 4 kids loved this place! There was plenty of space for us to spread out and relax, and also for us all to eat meals together at the big dining table. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we were never bored with all of the games, books, and puzzles in the house. The view of the beach (with snow on it!), and Chicago in the distance, was stunning. And it's just a short walk down the steps to the sand. Even in the cold weather, it is a beautiful stretch of beach. We will be back!

Lisa was an amazing host! The location was great right on the lake and the space had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying with her!

Very cute little inn. Nice to park on the premises and nice yard to sit as well as pvt hot tub. The suite was very nice and walkable down town, beach.. great having the amtrak in town and took a day trip to chicago. Definitely be back!!! Lisa has done a great job with the Inn…

The place was amazing, very cozy Airbnb and for a great price! The view of the property from the Airbnb was beautiful and gives off farmhouse vibes, space was great for my family and I! We had some friends and family over and everyone was comfortable in the space and it didn’t feel cramped ! Very beautiful place with great home owners!

We had a wonderful 7 day stay in this beautiful apartment. It is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. We felt right at home. The living room wa spacious comfortable, with a large TV, and a cozy fireplace unit. The kitchen had everything necessary to cook meals, plus a nice assortment of coffee and tea, along with a Keurig. The bathroom was fresh and clean with plenty of towels. The bedroom had a large, comfortable bed with fresh linens, a large closet, and quiet dedicated workspace. Laundry facility was accessible right outside our door. The area and building were clean and quiet, with a lovely enclosed backyard with picnic table. Cornelius was a very responsive, helpful, friendly host, who answered all our questions, and made sure we had all the information we needed to make our stay fun and easy. Check in process was very simple, and there is ample parking I highly recommend Cornelius and this lovely unit. You will be very pleased with your stay.

Such a cute spot in a quaint little town. Apartment has everything you need and more and is conveniently located to coffee shops, restaurants, and retail. 10/10.

The host was very responsive and friendly. He gave recommendations on where to eat. The recommendation of a tiny restaurant named Cool Runnings ended up being a HIT SENSATION! I was HAPPY that he recommended the restaurant. The home is nestled in back at a dead end street. Nice neighborhood and quiet! Waking up to the view of the beach was great. Literally a 3 minute walk down a path will get you to the beach. That walk alone was definitely worth the money spent. I loved the arcade games. When visiting Michigan City again we will stay here. We had a lovely family reunion at St Joe’s overlook. Kitchen came with literally everything- all sorts of cooking instruments (crock pot, air fryer, toaster etc), spices/oils, and zip lock bags for leftovers. All brand new appliances and ample prep space. We got the pool heated and it was wonderful! Very large size to fit all the family kids. The hot tub was a nice save for the adults who were freezing. Beautiful views from the living room of the river with ample and comfy seating. The home was perfect for a large gathering. We appreciate Evan and Claire hosting us they were always responsive and helpful.

Bruce & Carol were excellent hosts anticipating needs while going above and beyond to make the stay special. The home has beautiful landscaping and gardens. Plenty of room for children to run and play. The breeze from the lake can be enjoyed throughout the home. The house has lake front views throughout the main rooms. The home is positioned ideally for guests with 3 separate living spaces and an open kitchen to the main gathering space that opens to the deck and grill. The walk to St. Joseph is less than a mile and we completed this enjoyable walk daily. Farmer market operates every Saturday during the summer with concerts on Sunday evenings all in walking distance of home. The private beach is beautiful and hosts shared paddle boards and beach toys to add to experience. We enjoyed sunset walks to the lighthouse pier. The internet is fast and reliable for those looking to work away from home with 2-3 possible office locations in home. We would return here again.

Kawal is an amazing host! The house is absolutely beautiful and aptly named. My family had a wonderful time and Kawal did everything he could and more to make our stay incredible. I’ve already told him, but I will say it again….thank you Kawal for making our time magnificent!
