The place was great and as per pictures. We had a wonderful time here. The place is awesome if you have your own car as the place is best accessible through private vehicle. If you have to travel through public transport then you will have to walk a lot its far from Amsterdam airport and central.

We had an amazing time at Ben and Mireille’s place! The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, and both of them were incredibly kind and always easy to reach if we had any questions. The apartment was exactly as described, clean and comfortable. A true highlight of our vacation was the tour of the mill. Ben took the time to show us around and even started it up so we could see it in action, an unforgettable experience! Thank you for the wonderful stay. We’d love to come back and hope to see you again in the future! 😊

Our sisters' weekend was a success! A very nice location, Caroline and Kevin very hospitable. Great contact, quick response to questions! Wonderful house, equipped with all comforts and even a nice seat outside. Bike rental within walking distance and then off you go! In short, enjoy and, as far as we are concerned, highly recommended! Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

There were four of us, 2 adults and 2 children between 5 and 8 and for us the tiny house was just right. You are quickly on the beach, by bus and train you can go to Amsterdam and nearby is a nice dune area. Laura, Jurre and their children are very warm and helpful hosts and we felt completely comfortable. We were there over New Year's Eve and since it rained a lot, it was good to have a small carpet and a shoe rack so as not to carry the dirt into the house. Because you are right in the hallway when you come through the entrance door. We would come back back.

Wonderfully relaxed and beautifully walked!

We stayed here for a week and felt warm and comfortable, just like being at home. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking and preparing meals very convenient. Lia was kind and proactive, offering timely help whenever needed. We truly enjoyed our time here.

It really is a great located place to stay in the middle of a beautiful villa district just outside of Amsterdam. Nevertheless, you can easily reach the city center by bus. For us as guests who arrived by car are perfect. And saves expensive travel costs, saves expensive hotel prices, and is still downtown quickly. It is very lovingly maintained in the middle of a beautiful garden. A great one-room apartment. DAX is a great host who responded very quickly and very informatively and gave really helpful tips.

Three-day stay, perfect location, great. The advantage is the free seats and nothing to complain about. We are very happy.

We loved our stay at Huis te Krommenie very much. We were warmly welcomed by Bauke and Jeanne and received clear and nice information about the history of the house (a former GP practice) and how the atmosphere of the B&B was created. In addition, they gave us nice tips about the area and good eateries. The bed was lovely and also the "old" shower was surprisingly pleasant. We really enjoyed it and have absolutely no complaints or comments. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this stay!

Loved my stay with Wiko. Having a huge bathtub, shower and a sauna 🎀was great after a long days walking in the rain. Very clean. All appliances work perfectly. Loved the birds in the morning. Only negative of this place. There is very very limited place to put your clothes or hang them. You are basically leaving the stuff in your suitcase . Notice: if you are a person with limited mobility, I would take a moment to ask the charming Wiko to put the linens on the bed. The clean linen is in the closet. Putting sheets on a twin bed (the middle part) might be a challenge for some.

Great stay here in this apartment in a very nice area. Stayed for one month for a work visit and it was perfect. Airbnb is right next to a lovely peaceful canal, and has good cycle routes around. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend this place :)

I had a wonderful stay here!! Such a lovely neighborhood with fast and easy connections to central Amsterdam. The room was super clean and provides great value given the location. Having access to a washer and dryer was an added bonus. Really friendly hosts as well. Highly recommend!

Marieke and Herman really live in a beautiful environment. You are right on the water, where you can dive in and from the house you can take beautiful walks. The garden is a real treat: beautiful and wild, nice in the sun with all kinds of seats and a table. There are bugs, birds and butterflies everywhere. Marieke and Herman are super friendly, helpful, hospitable and generous. The house is spacious, has a nice sofa and table, a bathroom with shower and bath, good hot water. A good mattress too - nice and firm! Cooking can be done on the ceramic hob and there is a fridge and coffee maker and kettle available. I could ask for things that were missing. The house is a bit rustic, sometimes a little search for comfort. It is a part of the house where the owners themselves live. This means that you may hear it creak when you walk. In my opinion, it is a good example of 'sharing is caring'. I certainly enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of this area.
