Holiday rentals with a home cinema in Government of Amsterdam

Thijs was a great host! His communication was very efficient and very helpful with everything. When we step inside the house, it was beautiful and clean enough ready to start our vacation. The location is a nice walk from the center, but with a great view of the park where you can take your eyes and relax a little from the classic Amsterdam view. You'll love Westerpark. Senem was a very kind, communicative host. Her place was modern yet cozy, well-equipped, and very inviting. I stayed by myself, but her place would be ideal for a couple. The bed was large and the living room is spacious with a comfortable couch and lots of books and plants. The back patio/yard is truly private and has a table, chairs, hammock, and string lights - as pictured - and was larger than I expected. Everything was clean and it was pretty quiet. Senem sent me thorough instructions and some local recommendations. The neighborhood is nice and fairly quiet, and walkable to other parts of Amsterdam/accessible by tram. I recommend staying here!

I've been to Amsterdam several times! All the others stayed in a hotel! This last time I opted for an apartment! It was sensational! I got to know a part of Amsterdam that I didn't know, with residential neighborhoods and I was able to live a few days like a local! It has everything in the neighborhood, supermarkets and restaurants! I will definitely be back...

Super comfortable check-in and out! Apartamento spacious. The kitchen was not easy for us to use, if we appreciate the washing machine and all the things available, either food as cleaning elements. A very comfortable area, quiet.

David was extremely helpful and flexible. Response time was great.The unit was clean and easy to find. There was a direct bus from central station to the unit. Will definitely recommend

Maarten’s place was really relaxing to stay at, beautifully decorated and minimal and in a brilliant location to explore Amsterdam, especially the West which we love. He was very responsive when we messaged him and helped us to check in early. I really appreciated having space in the wardrobe etc, a comfy bed, lovely bathroom, outdoor space and would definitely recommend.

Are you looking for a staycation or traveling to Amsterdam with family or friends and looking for a mix of nature and City life then your search ends here. Aside from Mart being a great host and opening his home for us, it's greatly located 20 min from the airport and 20 min to downtown (by car), The Harbor is down the road where you can rent a boat and spend a lovely day in the lake of Vinkeveen where you can hop between islands and have lunch/dinner, you can ride bikes or go for a run or you can stay home and have a lovely bbq. The house is very spacious with incredible design and views. I can't wait to go back.

Charming and peaceful canal house with private parking. Beautiful discovery of the region with a nice little port, a beautiful little beach and a beautiful discovery of the places by bike! Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

We enjoyed our stay in Mateern’s place it worked perfectly for us because it is not in a big city but at the same time you can drive to many places or just stay and relax in the area. They were very nice and helpful with everything. We had a great experience over all

We were totally satisfied with the small vacation home, everything was as described, very clean and beautifully furnished. The location is also great, neither the beach nor the city center of Amsterdam is far away. The direct environment is very quiet and close to nature. Gladly again :)

This house has everything to offer to make the stay perfect! Perfect for families or even several people. It's very quiet and a beautiful area! The kitchen is fully equipped! It was sparkling clean and the cinema feeling and the garden rounded off the stay :) there is a lot to do : Giethoorn village Pancake House Hansel and Gretel Nordwijk (beach club and beach) Amsterdam Volendam Everything is easily accessible by car and beautiful destinations ! For us, the house was a dream and Peter was also very helpful! The area has unique houses that you can look at on a walk. There is also a Lidl and Albert Heijn 5 minutes away. So you can shop well! I hope we can return to this place!

Very spacious and simply lovely home in a very family friendly neighborhood! Lots of room for our family to enjoy and recoup after long days touring Amsterdam. Gijs was a great host with helpful suggestions and clear instructions. Easy parking at the home. Outside main core, getting to sights requires car/bike/bus unless you have hardy walkers (too far for our kids). Wonderful stay!

Well looked after and stylish Appartment with great double double glazing to keep out the street noises. You cannot find a better location transport wise.. Best bakery right down the street.. Bakhuys! ...

Staying at Henny's apartment was among the best decisions we made for this trip. The place is spacious, comfortable, and a great value. We especially enjoyed the balcony and the gas fireplace. Henny is a delightful, friendly, and super helpful host -- even allowing us to move in very early in the morning when our schedule unexpectedly changed. The location is ideal -- beautiful and peaceful -- in the fantastic city of Haarlem, and we highly reccommend it.

The apartment is truly beautiful and inspiring, close to supermarkets in a peaceful area and in a short walk to the city centre. The surroundings are not touristy, even though really close to the busy Jordaan area. Willen was also very receptive and helpful to everything we needed. We had a wonderful time!
