Had a great time at Connor’s place! Location is key with this rental as you are a few minutes bike ride into downtown Bar Harbor and also a few minutes drive/bike to Acadia National Park. I was able to bike from the house up Cadillac Mountain and back before my kids woke up that is how close this listing is the the National Park. Everything was as pictured and my family really enjoyed grabbing lobsters at Parson’s down the street and steaming them at the house. We had a great time biking into Bar Harbor to enjoy the town and also did many miles on the carriage roads with the family. Overall great experience and I would recommend this location/home to anyone wanting to be close to downtown and Acadia.

This home is fantastic. it is in such a beautiful and serene setting. you get to watch the sunrises over the mountains in the back, and the outdoor shower is so amazing. inside is comfy and the bed was huge! great hosts as well. very attentive and helping.

Good value and convenient location. A bit cramped for 5 people and lacking a few cooking items (cheese grater, large bowls, measuring cups). But a great home base for exploring Acadia. Host was kind enough to let us check in early too!

A gem of an Airbnb. Great location on the quieter side of MDI but still within a 15-20 min drive to all major sites. Modern and cute decor, well outfitted kitchen, fluffy towels, nice lighting. Highly recommend.

This place was perfect for me! Right in the center of town with easy access to all my favorite bar harbor shops and restaurants. Instructions were super clear on check in and I loved having the parking at balance rock inn. This is also the only Airbnb that I’ve stayed in that had an excess towels which was amazing after long days of hiking and multiple showers.

If you are looking for a vacation that is quiet, relaxing and with stunning views then this is the place! Only 10 minutes from downtown bar harbor and quick easy access to Acadia. Honestly, my wife and I made less trips to Acadia because the views from the property were better! The hosts are fantastic and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful little farmhouse! When putting in the address, it took us to the wrong location, but Amy answered the phone and helped us arrive to the correct place. She even gave us some delicious pot pies for the inconvenience. I've never written a review before, but this place impressed my mom and I so much I had to write a review! She's so thoughtful and has everything you could imagine stocked in the airbnb. From extra linens, to snacks, sandwich baggies, and even reusable water bottles! If I ever go back to Acadia, I would stay here again. The photos don't do it justice, the place is adorable! Thanks so much Amy!

This place worked great for a business trip. It had everything I needed to make breakfast in the morning and relax after I got back from work. Columbia Falls is a cool little town, and next time I'll have to take a little more time for exploring. The bed was comfortable and the place was quiet. The General Store downstairs had some delicious chocolate chip cookies which made the stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Sean.

The place was perfect for our family of four. We felt at home and enjoyed our stay. The hosts were friendly and quick at responding. Everything was as advertised. The location up the hill was amazing and we would happily return for a stay here in the future. Five stars, highly recommend the place.

The experience left nothing to be desired as we were looking for a remote spot and a place comfortable and spacious enough to stay inside during bad weather and Jeff’s place checked the boxes. We were the only ones in the 2 unit home. The view is very pretty and the wildlife is plentiful. The access to the water is down a dirt embankment which leads to mud flats at low tide. Beware of the tides if you can get the kayaks down there.

Our stay at Skyler’s place was spectacular! The loft was exceptionally clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. It is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood- we felt safe the entire time. Check in and check out were both super easy. Skyler was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Thank you for making us feel right at home :)

We had a great stay at the Penthouse! It was a perfect launching point for our downeast adventures in Acadia and points beyond. There was a beautiful waterfront view in a charming small town. The space was cozy, clean, modern and very comfortable for our stay. Highly recommend it.

This is a perfect location, just a few blocks to everything we wanted to do in Bar Harbor and all the restaurants. It was also a short drive to Acadia National Park. The place was a great size for a family of 4. Just plan to share 1 bathroom. Thanks for a great stay!

Felt like a luxury hotel for half the price! The owner did a phenomenal job with renovation and restoration with lots of little nice touches, like a bag of coffee from the cafe downstairs.

Very happy with this stay. Comfy place with a beautiful view, comfy bed, and good area to hang out at. They also included a pack in play for my infant son, and he was very happy to sleep in it. One word of caution, its street name is very similar to a nearby street so make sure you pay attention or you'll end up at the wrong house!

The place is conveniently located with easy access to a lot of things including restaurants, supermarkets and other outdoor activities. It has an open space kitchen with no windows but well ventilated. Living rooms and bedrooms are spacious, comfortable and accommodating to large families. Bathrooms are clean and relatively new. We were there for 4 days. It was unfortunately cold in the 40s and 50s and rainy for most of the time. However we enjoyed our stay in the house since it was cozy and comfortable.

The best airbnb experience I ever had. Incredibly detailed checkin and checkout through texts with all information provided earlier on. Amenities were even better than the pictures! They had everything provided, even laundry was made available-- and the CUTEST smores packets. The cute little community kitchen and house was really fun- the decor, the kitchen (has everything you need to cook), the gardening house...definitely revisiting! Thank you for an amazing stay :)

A must stay for those exploring Acadia/Bar Harbor! The Open Hearth Inn was truly a family feel. The owners and the wonderful management team thought of everything you could want/need. This included treats for doggos, snacks for guests, board games, and even s’more kits to enjoy by the fire. Very quick drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor but also a lovely place to hangout on the days when you can’t do one more hike. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We had a great stay at Open Hearth Inn. Arthur is a great host. We had an issue with door of our cottage not being locked. He addressed our concern immediately and provided us with another accomodation so that we could feel safe at night.

This place is a great find! Easy to check in and out, adorable little inn, and the bakery across the street was delicious.

We LOVED our stay at Open Hearth Inn! We booked the room as a landing space during our trip to Acadia and it was perfect. The coziest and quaintest space, just outside of busy Bar Harbor! There were so many amenities (hot tub, full kitchen, fire pit, etc.) and the hosts were so generous and welcoming- there were even brownies left for guests one morning! 😭❤️ There are a plethora of guides and recommendations from the hosts in the lobby, we utilized them to find a kayaking spot during our trip. The common spaces are equally as cozy as the home, complete with loads of games and a TV! We are so glad we chose Open Hearth Inn and enjoyed spending time in the most homely and beautiful space!

I can't say enough about this place. Traveling with 4 seniors with mobility problems can be a challenge but Linda was beyond amazing and accommodating. The home had everything you needed and more. I can't wait to be able to come back

Perfect studio. Used the jetted tub, nice and relaxing. Lots of extras (new toiletries, coffee, filters, sugar, etc.) much appreciated and used. The view, esp at sunrise, was stunning. Quiet neighbors. The beach store (pizza, sandwiches, salads, coffee and more) was very good. Just down stairs and one building over. (get there early for their muffins) I would certainly stay here again.
