Lake front, Hot Tub, Kayak, MDI!

RobertRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved our stay at this charming lakeside cabin! The perfect blend of rustic appeal and modern comforts made it an ideal getaway. While it felt authentically cozy and tucked away, the thoughtful amenities—like reliable Wi-Fi, flatscreen TVs, and an easy-to-use coffee machine—made our trip stress-free and enjoyable. The outdoor hot tub was an absolute hit, especially situated right next to the fire pit—there's nothing quite like soaking under the stars after roasting marshmallows by the campfire. Mornings were just as memorable, sipping coffee from the swinging bench overlooking a truly stunning lake view. The location was also ideal, just a short drive from fun eateries in Bar Harbor and the beautiful trails of Acadia National Park, offering us plenty of opportunities for exploration. The hosts were fantastic, quickly responding to all our questions and making us feel right at home. We highly recommend this spot!

Modern Lakefront Cabin | Hot Tub | Stunning Views

LaurenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful house that was perfect for me, my husband, and 2 kids. The dock access is great - there's a bait shop closeby (Old Town Trading Post) where we got some fishing poles and bait. My son loved fishing everyday and we took the canoes out around the pond. The house has life vests too which was perfect for the kids. The dock has 2 chairs on it already. We used the screened in porch to watch the birds (and not get bitten by mosquitos). Make sure you bring/buy bug spray in the warmer months and an eye mask if you're a light sleeper. The sun rises quite early (5am) in the summer and the bedrooms are on the second floor and get a lot of light. We used the hot tub every day - the house has tons of towels for the 4 bathrooms and hot tub. There's a grocery store (Hannaford) about 20 minutes away. We hiked in Acadia National Park one day - it's about a 1.5 hour drive. A great house and location if you love being outside!

Seaswept Cottage

MollyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
I wish I could give this place and host more than 5 stars! Deirdre was incredibly sweet and extremely fast to respond to any questions we had. The cabin was cozy, clean, and just what we were looking for! Our trip revolved around hiking Acadia NP, and while this Airbnb was about an hour drive to the main part of the park, it was WELL worth it. It was away from the busyness and very quiet peaceful and private. Plus it’s only about 15 mins to the Schoodic peninsula! There’s a small path to some rocks you can sit on and relax by the ocean, which after a long day of hiking was perfect! Bonus- We were able to see the northern lights from there!! All in all this place was 10/10 and I highly recommend. If I ever get the chance to return to Maine, I would absolutely love to stay here again!!

The Oasis - Bay Front, Kayak, Fireplace, Firepit

MicheleRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Nice secluded location. This log cabin is so peaceful! We loved everything about it. It has everything you need. Nice that we didn't have to buy toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags etc. LOVED the massage chair! Also the addition of the kayaks and canoes. They were nice to take out on the water and watch the sunset. Would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again if in the area. Easy commute to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. About a 40 minute drive. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property!

Southwest Harbor Cozy Cabin #2

MichelleRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Our stay at the cabin was perfect! My boyfriend and I wanted somewhere we could stay with our dog and go hiking in Acadia National Park. The cabin is a short drive to many of the best hiking trails and only a 25 min drive to Bar Harbor. It’s in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood that we were able to walk our dog around. The cabin itself was the perfect size for us and was very comfortable. The grill was great and we cooked out on it almost every night. We had everything we could think of there, and it truly felt like home for the week that we were there. The house manual had great recommendations for the area. We can’t wait to come back.

Cozy Lakefront Cabin * CampChamp

DanielRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cabin in the woods. Very private setting with private dock and access to a wonderful lake. We spent a day canoeing around the lake and saw some loons, eagles, turtles, and beavers. The cabin was very cozy and I enjoyed the wood burning stove which heated the cabin wonderfully. Host was responsive and excellent to work with. Would visit again. Thank you.

Hobb’s House - Year Round Log Cabin on the Water

MelissaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Connor was an AMAZING host! From the very beginning, he was always very responsive, and was consistently available to answer my questions promptly. His cabin on the lake was so cozy, it truly felt like our home away from home. It was beautifully decorated, peaceful, serene, well-stocked with anything that one could need. His recommendations were extensive and were very much appreciated. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and really loved being able to stay there with friends for a few days before departing for another excursion. It gave us time to celebrate and make some great memories with them - something that we will always treasure! The worst thing about this cabin? - Having to leave it in the rearview mirror! Connor, thanks so much for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. You can count on us to be back in the future! Thank you!

SUNSET RIDGE- A COZY CABIN WITH SPECTACULAR VIEWS!

ElenaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The view from this cabin is gorgeous and it was so convenient for hiking in Acadia! We were very happy to be able to bring our dog, and her kennel fit nicely right behind the couch. Everything was perfect for us, but a photo of the bathroom in the listing would be helpful for others to decide if the setup would work for them. Overall we were delighted with our stay and would love to go back! It was such a beautiful place to stay and so close to all the hiking!

Long Cove Artist Cottage

Carmen Rating, 5 stars1 week ago
My husband and I spent a wonderful week at Judith’s cottage in Deer Isle. Judith, her partner Linda, and Kate (Linda's daughter) were incredibly welcoming—always kind, helpful, and full of great recommendations about the area, from hiking trails and restaurants to local shops and the island’s fascinating history. We truly enjoyed our conversations with them, and they were also very respectful of our privacy. The cottage is rustic but cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the garden and views of the cove were beautiful. It’s also a great location for exploring Deer Isle, the Blue Hill Peninsula, and even Acadia National Park. We’re grateful for the hospitality and would gladly return!

BRAND NEW Ocean view Log Cabin! 9

SamanthaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The cabin was perfect, so clean and brand new. The location was amazing, private but still felt safe and secure. We enjoyed going for walks and looking for shells, it was all so peaceful. The house came with lots of toys and books for our 1 year old and also some items for our dog. Ashley was a great host, provided us with wonderful recommendations that were both baby and dog friendly which made the trip even better. Already miss the place and would love to go back!

Lakefront Lobster Tiny Cabin @ Getogether Stays

ThomasRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had an awesome time at the tiny ‘lobster’ cabin. The cabin is very oroginally decorated following the lobster theme. It has a very convenient outdoor patio. Kitchen was extremely well equipped which was super helpful as we were cooking our dinner on site. There was literally nothing that was lacking here, I can highly recommend!

Acadia Cabin Bar Harbor - Newly renovated bathroom

ClaudiaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My friends and I really enjoyed this forest getaway for our annual girls trip! The host was very proactive sending us information to navigate to the cabin, how to use all the amenities, and how to check out. She even left the lights on for us since we were arriving after sunset, and small chocolate treats for us in the kitchen. The cabin was well suited for our plans for the weekend. The kitchen had all the appliances and cookware for our cooking needs. The living area and bedroom was a very cozy and clean place to relax after a day of hiking. The sofa bed was very comfortable and spacious and easy to set up. it's is in the living room, which has a nice view of the surrounding forest and is very pleasant to wake up to. The bathroom is very new and the hot water runs easily. Overall, this Airbnb is was we expected and more. All the little details made this stay extra special and enjoyable. I would highly recommend others to consider booking this cabin.

Romantic Forest Cabin - private, near everything

LynnRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This Airbnb was a perfect spot for a couple to explore all of Mount Desert Island . We stayed for 6 nights and experienced Maine’s beautiful fall foliage. It was exactly as described - peaceful and private - away from busy bar harbor - but easy enough 15 min drive to and from and to Park entrance. we enjoyed the fire pit, cozy living area and used the kitchen to cook in after busy days on the trail … would highly recommend. And Traveling Lobster right down the road is amuse for Best Lobster Rolls !

Such a cozy and peaceful getaway spot. All of our needs were met and we all slept amazingly - super comfortable bedding!! It was wonderful to wake up with the sunlight shining down on the trees. One note - the stairs are noisy so if there are people sleeping while you head down to use the restroom you might disturb their slumber!

The Cabins at Currier Landing Cabin 3: Pine

AlleRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Can’t say enough amazing things about our stay! The cabin and property are so thoughtfully designed and laid out, it’s so peaceful and relaxing. David & Bill shared local recommendations prior to our trip and all of them were 10/10 - from restaurants to general stores, everywhere we went was a standout. We knew going into it we’d be about an hour from Acadia, so the drive didn’t bother us. We spent our days in Bar Harbor and our evenings near the house, eating at incredible local spots exploring the Sedgwick area. The local snacks upon arrival were really the cherry on top.

Little Acadia Cabin & Lakefront

JohnRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Very peaceful, beautiful location. Quiet and restful. Good fishing in the lake. Nice hikes & walks nearby. Easiest check-in ever. Everything worked perfectly. Wish we had booked two weeks instead of one. Hope to return. One recommendation, bring enough food for a day or two on arrival. It's a looong way to a typical grocery store. The Dunbar Store on Rt 1 has a little bit of everything, friendly staff, and is fairly close.

This was a truly magical stay! Peaceful, private, comfortable… The most well thought out and welcoming off-grid lodging I’ve ever stayed in! The cabin itself is spectacular and the surrounding garden and forest are just enchanted. Rod was an incredible host, responsive and so accommodating when I needed to shift my reservation. I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Don’t even hesitate on this one!

Cozy Acadia Cabin

LisaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We came to Lamoine via a fantastic roadtrip to be close to family and celebrate our MDIHS graduate. (Go Trojans! 💜) Pictures really don't give the house justice. I had a hard time figuring out the layout of the house beforehand (I'm a super visual person) yet as soon as I walked in the door it all clicked. Great space, great amenities and sooooo peaceful. Not terribly far from the hustle and bustle of MDI and if our timing and plans allowed we would have used the firepit and hammock. Thank you for providing those for guests to use. House had everything you'd need, except hangers. We stayed for four nights (2 adults) and more hangers would have been appreciated. We made use of the washer and dryer - again an amazing amenity - and they were quick and quiet. Adorable, comfortable house- would definitely stay again! Thank you again for being our home away from home.
