Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Gothenburg

We spent 5 days in Kenneth and Malene’s house, we were 2 families with 2 kids 2yo. They live on the upper floor and were very welcoming and helpful in giving us several information. Check in, check out and comminication were great, Fast and easy. We had a bit of bad luck with weather, but we were able to enjoy the barbecue and jacuzzi, which are definetly a plus. The house is very well organized with all the necessary kitchen tools and room enough for all us, especially the living room where our kids played most of the time. Malene was so kind to give our kids lots and lots of toys they played with. would have been Perfect to have a second bathroom as we struggled a bit with the kids, but we were aware of that. The location is good, the sea is just in front of the house and we also had the possibilities to use their kayak, but we did not cause of weather. It is a good starting point to visit all the west coast. In the end we had a very nice and relaxing stay. Thanks a lot and see you

Spectacular place where you could find a lot to do even on a rainy day in Gothenburg. This Airbnb apartment was exactly like in the photos. We really enjoyed the stay!

Therese's place was smartly planned and in a wonderful location. Beautiful views near the water and dining areas in all directions. Smart bedrooms but room for many. Therese was easy to communicate with and responded quickly! Can highly recommend than stay at Therese's place. I'd love to come back!

fantastic nice apartment with a good layout! Airy and fresh and the courtyard was really cozy. Karin was easy to communicate with and we quickly got a response if we had any questions. The apartment was close to public transport and it was walking distance to both grocery store and bars. Perfect place to stay for couples and families with children. Will be back for sure 👌

A cosy small apartment with a stunning and beautiful view!

We spent 14 days with Catarina and had a wonderful vacation there. The secluded surroundings are beautiful. Small beaches, bays and rocky coast. Not only did the surroundings meet our expectations more than we had hoped for, the special accommodation is also tasteful and cozy. We felt at home from the very first minute. Everything you could possibly need is there. Catarina gave us great tips for excursions in the area and kept in close contact to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We felt like we were visiting friends. Thank you.

Comfortable accommodation with a good view that is easy to find walking from the jetty. The owner is a very nice person who responds quickly and is happy to help if there are any questions. The island is a quiet and cozy place. There is a small ICA shop, where you can also pre-order delivery from Systembolaget or bring it with you.

I am probably a little biased, as I had been in the area many times throughout my life, and I've always loved this old town part of Kungälv. The buildings are made up of lots of historic landmarks. There is a beautiful old church nearby with stunning interior craftsmanship and design. The river walk, with lots of pretty water fowl and gardens is bare a minute from the location. And a couple minutes walk beyond all of these is an ancient fortress, first built in 1308, looking out over the river that runs all the way up to Stockholm from the west coast. The property has all the amenities one could need, and while its close to everything, its very private and peaceful. The owners are super proactive and respond quickly to any questions. I could go on, but I think its enough to say this is as advertised, and a lovely place to stay. Highly recommend 👌

Very clean and spacious apartment. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Once we figured out the public transit system, it was easy to get places on buses and trams as well as the ferries to the islands. We really enjoyed the nearby park and its amazing zoo. Our 4-year-old daughter loved the toys in the apartment and the playgrounds in the park. It was great to stay in a place belonging to a family with a child of a similar age. Thanks again for a great stay!

Very fresh and nice accommodation. Well equipped in a thoughtful and thoughtful way. Nice patio with nice views. A great location on the property and a personal response from the host. A place we can really recommend to others.

We had a great stay and felt welcome from start to finish, Bronius and Erik are fantastic hosts, five stars plus that the lovely and cuddly cats were a real bonus. We were spoiled with real luxury breakfasts every morning, home-baked bread, waffles and magically good coffee. It was easy to get to and from the more central parts of the city, the trams stop practically outside the door. I really hope we get the opportunity to rent the room the next time we visit Gothenburg.

Jonas’ place was a bit of respite for us during Easter weekend. We just spent a whirlwind week in Copenhagen and had a busy week ahead in Oslo. We felt relaxed and comfortable in his stylish yet practical home. We enjoyed our coffee at the big kitchen table while our kids ate breakfast and in the evening, grabbed a beer and sat amongst the warm glow of the apartment’s well situated low level lighting. The closest supermarket is a 5 minute walk away and the tram into Gothenburg is maybe a 7 minute walk. There is a green space in the courtyard containing a sand pit, swing set and a couple cats, chillin’ in the sunshine. Good times!

We had a fantastic time on Dyrön and Ida's apartment was the perfect place for it. Very centrally located in the village, just a few minutes from the ferry in the north harbor. The hiking trail to Dyröleden starts right behind the house and otherwise everything on the island can be reached quickly. The apartment was very clean and tidy, the kitchen well equipped, the beds cozy. And communication with Ida worked out just fine. We can highly recommend a vacation here and plan to come back next year!

Super friendly landlady. The apartment is perfect and you can reach everything quickly by train, bus, or car. Parking is only 3 minutes away. All great. Gladly come back. Thank you Wilma

We absolutely loved staying at Rebecca’s home. It had everything we needed and more. The kids LOVED playing with the kids toys and never wanted to leave the house. The kitchen was so well equipped. And the backyard is simply beautiful. The perfect place to relax and spend time with the family. Definitely would recommend to anyone with or without kids ♥️. The location was also perfect between the sea and the city. We went on an amphibian bus tour and the kids thought it was the coolest sightseeing tour. Simply love staying here. 😊🫶

We had three amazing nights at Marcus' house. It was large, airy and had everything we needed for a few relaxing days in the Swedish archipelago. We would like to come back at a later time 😊

We have had a lovely time at Marie’s place! The house is exactly as described but in reality it feels and looks even better! We felt at home the minute we stepped inside. There’s everything you need for a comfortable stay, a perfect place for kids, and overall it is a well decorated and well organised place. Long walks in beautiful nature start right at the doorway. 15 min drive to Liseberg or city centre, half an hour to the ferry to explore the Gothenburg archipelago. 5 min drive to a big supermarket & shopping centre. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would love to come back again!

The house is very nice and peaceful with a lot of greenery around, a nice garden and a cozy terrace. The house itself is also very nice and luxurious that linens and towels are included. Also luxurious to have your own small gym on site. Nice surroundings with close proximity to lakes and walking paths. Quick to get into Gothenburg by car. So perfect if you want to be close to town but at the same time enjoy the peace and nature.

We had a lovely holiday and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We certainly recommend this house. We felt at home and there is lot’s to see and do in the neighbourhood. The private island and he’s amazing sunsets is an amazing place to be. Gothenburg is an amazing, lovely and vibrant city and of course Liseberg parc is a must do. The beautiful islands that you can easily visit, different beaches to go in the neighbourhood… so much to do …. Just magnificent and the hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Great cottage on Knarrholmen. Bright, modern, very good amenities, nothing is missing. Great location, absolutely quiet. Very good communication with Daniel, always available and helpful. Anytime again 😊

Jonas and Christel are adorable and attentive. The accommodation is very warm and typical in Sweden (no shutters on the windows) On the other hand, the 2nd bedroom is rather an office and very small. Being on the ground floor is rather noisy because the owners live above but they try to be discreet. Pleasant 2-week stay close to the center (15min by car) If you are looking for a nice little cocoon I highly recommend this place Thanks to Jonas and Christel for their hospitality and kindness
