The place was really homely and the hosts were lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend and will definitely go back again.

Louise was a very welcoming and accommodating host. We arrived early and we were able to get in to the accommodation straight away, even though she was not present at the time. The room was exactly as described, with all the amenities listed, and was absolutely spotless throughout. The sheltered garden was fun to explore, with lots of hidden surprises. Although the room is on the smaller side, we never felt cramped as the room was well laid out and very comfortable. I can honestly say we were sad to leave after our short break here.

We had the best 4 nights stay at Jo’s beautiful cottage. The weather was superb. Fantastic location literally 5 seconds from the seafront. We could hear the waves lapping at bedtime and morning. Cakebreads shop next door has pretty much all you need. Daily delivery of delicious Sourdough loaves. The Mermaid Beach cafe does great icecream and snacks. The beach is clean the sea so inviting. Sand all the way,easy swimming especially for kids. Fantastic coastal walks from Gorran Haven to Dodman Cross via Vault beach (swam there) and the other way to Chapel Point and Portmellon. Superb coastal views. Didn’t want to leave. Will definitely be back. Jo was the perfect host,responded very quickly to any questions we had. Highly recommend! Sarah and Karen Hastings.
