I had the most delightful stay! The family were all lovely, including Blue🐶. Mark gave me an excellent tour of the place. He, Cathy and Jarad have me such a warm welcome . The place was peaceful and felt just like home. I was very comfortable and slept well!! I’d been travelling for a while and this was the perfect spot to spent a week recouping and working remotely. I will definitely be back! Thank you all so much.✨

We had the best few days in Hermanus and enjoyed our little cottage in walking distance to the stunningly beautiful Voel klip and Grotto bay beaches. Our twins learned about the sea, tides, jelly fish, wildlife and soaked up every ray of sunshine and swam like little fish. Our hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful, which we are so grateful for. Thank you for a magical week x God bless and hopefully see you again sometime x

This cottage is perfect! Spacious, quiet, loaded with everything you need, easy to cook, great bed, warm shower, safe, and private. Megan is such an amazing host. She proactively provided all the information I needed and was super responsive, kind, and friendly. This location is ideal to get in and out of town easily as well as to the airport, gardens, and universities. It is an ideal retreat to write, read, and rest after adventures! Uber is easy from the cottage to anywhere as well, and it is very close to shops. The value is unbeatable, and I would never stay in a hotel again. Thank you Megan for a fantastic retreat.

Beautiful home and a great space for a family or small group. Located just down the road from botanical gardens in a gorgeous neighborhood. Kitchen had everything we needed. Our group included a couple of small kids so we appreciated that there were plenty of at-home activities when we were not out and about in Cape Town (pool, hot tub, playground, smart TV, books). Wish we could’ve stayed longer — hope to come again!

It was an amazing place, with an amazing view. The only issue was the strong winds of Cape Town. But you can not let that take away from the good time we had. Angela is a great host I would definitely return.

It's a lovely place with nice decor and art. The place is very well equipped, with a nice braai area and a lovely view of the mountain.

Waking up to a view of Table Mountain and Nicky’s beautiful garden - bliss! Being on the Alphen Trail (for walking and running) - double bliss! If you love being surrounded by greenery, with a hadeda or two in the garden, and the occasional glimpse of Nicky’s charming ridgeback and dachshunds, book Francolin House. As a born-and-bred southern suburbs local believe me when I say, it is the ideal base for exploring this side of the mountain. Some of the Cape’s oldest vineyards are on your doorstep with more superb walking and the most delicious restaurants and delis. Further afield there’s Tintswalo in Hout Bay (think 5 star Michelin-style tasting menu with tables metres from the Atlantic). For old-fashioned Cape Town charm you can’t beat the Fasle Bay coast. Cape bean-to bar chocolatier Honest Chocolate has an outpost in Kalk Bay. Go for the almond choc cheesecake, pocket a few handcrafted chocolate bars like the fynbos, rooibos and naartjie. Perfect spot for a Retreat for One. Amazing views! It felt like I was staying in a hiking cabin (with more amenities) - secluded, surrounded by nature - but I only had to hike 50 meters to experience it 😊. Loved the outdoor shower and the compost toilet was spotless and odour-free. I'd love to go back!

My stay at the cottage in Constantia was nothing short of amazing! The cottage is beautifully furnished and practically laid out, making it a perfect home away from home. Located on a tranquil property in Constantia, the peaceful surroundings helped us unwind and enjoy our stay over the Easter holidays. The stunning swimming pool was an added bonus. Our host, Michelle, was incredibly attentive and went out of her way to accommodate all of our needs. Her hospitality truly enhanced our experience, and we felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. Overall, this was an incredible experience, and I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing and delightful getaway.

No complaints Definitely recommend this stay! My family and I needed a last minute booking & Madeleine responded very quickly and efficiently. Very communicative and accommodating host. The cottage itself is exactly as show in photos & stocked with everything you will need. Very comfortable, perfectly clean, safe and secure. My kiddos appreciated the mini picnic table and children’s dish-ware. Great for short term or longer term stay.

We had a beautiful weekend stay that felt like a home away from home. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming and were always readily available for any requests. A very comfortable private space in a residential area a short drive from central Stellenbosch. Secure parking, as well as good amenities.

We loved this Airbnb! We felt very safe and comfortable with the location. So glad we decided on this one. It was centrally located and a nice area. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood in the mornings. We rented a car and enjoyed having that to drive to other parts of Cape Town. The apartment itself was so nice. It was cozy but not cluttered. It was so clean!! And we enjoyed the lighting and textures throughout that truly made it feel like home. We kept saying “We would totally live here”. The bed was comfortable and the shower was delightful!! Andreas was very nice-meeting us upon arrival and was always available if we needed him. We would definitely recommend this space. It was our first time to South Africa and this apartment added to our absolutely lovely time. We didn’t want to leave.

Superb, homely and memorable!

We had a wonderful stay here. The house itself was spacious (even more so than the photos), clean and beautifully presented. The beds were comfy and with lovely linen, there was a well equipped kitchen, we loved the outside fire pit area and we really enjoyed the views. The location was great, just a few minutes' walk from the beach and restaurants, but just far enough away to be quiet and private. We would definitely recommend this Air BnB and hope to stay again.

Lovely and comfortable cottage. Private entrance, clean, comfortable and lovely amenities. Great location for what we needed, ie getting around in the Southern suburbs. Parking is on the street, but the area seemed safe and we had no issues.

What can I say but very positive words? The location was ideal but the best of this place in Cape Town is by far Pelle and Pernilla themselves. They are very attentive, welcoming and excellent knowledge of things to do. They gave us a very warm welcome and excellent recommendations that made our experience of Cape Town even much better! Will definitely look forward to returning!

Nolene is an absolute super host - her generosity and thoughtful touches made my stay truly special. The cottage is conveniently situated in a quiet suburb within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The cottage is perfect in every way with everything one could possibly need and the peaceful garden added such a wonderful sense of privacy and calm. I hope to visit again.

Cape White eyes, hoopoe ,Fork tailed drongos , sun birds to name a few & the most beautiful of butterflies flitting past the large plate glass windows in our main bedroom were a delight . The indigenous garden and beautiful bay and Silvermine mountain views from Mark's place ensured that I woke up to bird song every morning. As an outdoors person and nature lover staying here ensured a little of the nature that I love and normally seek out staying in National Parks was on our doorstep while I was still able to have my dogs along with us for this holiday . Of course you are choosing Fishhoek as a holiday destination because of the hiking , snorkelling, sea swimming, kayaking , history, opportunities and coastal vibe. There is so much to do and explore right on your doorstep . Check- in was super easy. Mark was a very kind & accommodating host always available by phone. His beautifully appointed apartment worked perfectly for my family & our doggies. Thank you for a great stay Mark
