Nestled in our backyard with partial privacy inside Firlands Park Equestrian Estate in Gordons Bay, this is a modest but peaceful spot. The Rigel Retreat is a relaxing getaway with amazing garden views which backs onto a nature reserve. The private modern interior holds 1BDR and 1BR with an attached kitchenette. The space offers a patio with a braai area, hammock and pool which you are welcome to enjoy. Situated on a hill, the views of the Helderberg basin are incredible. The guest suite is located in a safe, quiet neighbourhood with a park only a short walk down the road. Somerset West has a wide variety of sites to explore.

For the outdoor enthusiasts Helderberg provide trails for hiking and mtbiking and our dam covers swimming, rowing and sundowners.

The sand dunes are 15 meters from the house, and the beach a 3 minute walk Great for 1 or 2 families with up to 6 children, or 3 couples (Note: not suitable for more than 8 adults. Please be aware if 8 adults, 4 will be in the same room in bunk beds). The house is set up with a well equipped kitchen, in- and outdoor braai, board/lawn games and a TV with Netflix.
