Beach house holiday rentals in Gordon's Bay

We stayed over a week in Cape Town and loved the location! I had no idea when booking it that St. James was such a cute little village and we were just up the hill from great restaurants Folk Cafe and Pizza Shed (my local friend said is the best pizza in Cape Town). The tidal pool on the beach is fun to swim in. My son loved exploring the rocks and finding sea urchins and anemones. The views from the apartment were so gorgeous -- sunrises & sunsets like paintings! One day we saw a perfect rainbow spanning the beach on the ocean. Every night we could hear the sound of the surf and ocean waves. The giant picture window, the little sitting nook and the various outdoor sitting areas were so cute and calming I just wanted to stay there all day. The apartment is old and quirky, as expected from any older building, but it didn't detract from our stay. Just be aware you will be getting your daily stair workout to get to the front door. I would love to stay here again on our next visit!!

Absolutely wonderful stay for family or friends getaway. Has everything you need and David was so helpful and friendly. Had such an awesome stay in such beautiful surroundings!

I had a wonderful restful and peaceful stay at Tara and James's cottage. The bed is comfortable with good linen and pillows. Tara was very attentive, responsive and proactive which I appreciated.

We have stayed in the house several times and love it. Florian and his team were very helpful, proactive and welcoming. Offering to hold our luggage for us after check-out was very generous.

What a magnificent spot. Every last detail of this house has been so well thought through. The soft furnishings, the beautiful linen, the quality crockery and glassware. The view is breathtaking. We loved our weekend away and highly recommend this beautiful home.

It was spectacular Such a beautiful home,clean and the place is next to the beach,the view is 🤩 amazing Me and my friends really felt at home,the communication from the host was great,they kept checking up on us,which was nice. They organised a surprise birthday party for the other 2 girls 👌🏻👌🏻we requested and they didn’t have a problem Then there was Felix,anything and everything we needed he was just a phone call away This home was definitely worth every penny,no complains at all,it exceeded my expectations,if anything I think the pictures are not doing it justice,it’s more beautiful 😻😻I would definitely go back and I highly recommend it Thank you George and the crew🙏🏻🙏🏻

I am writing this review while we are still at the property. We have stayed in many AirBnB's, but never have we encountered a place as fascinating as Kloof House. Nestled into the trees, at the bottom of the mountains, is this haven of peace. Due to the way it is built we feel one with nature. The interior is thoughtfully dominated by wood and endless floor to ceiling glass, it is warm and intriguing. We constantly stop to gaze at the forest. It almost feels a bit like being part of Jurassic Park, just without the dinosaurs. Inside it is pure luxury, no expenses have been spared, top notch appliances and so generously stocked, incredibly beautiful and stylish furniture, insanely comfortable beds. The nature pool, large hot tub and braai area are a real treat. All of this coupled with the friendliness and immediate responsiveness of the hosts makes this getaway one we will never forget. Thank you so much Keri and Louise!! 

This is right at the top of the list of best AirBnB stays we have ever had. The house is magnificent and the surroundings are breathtaking. It is safe and the hosts are incredible. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Uta’s house is spacious, bright, and beautifully located with stunning views all around. There’s plenty of room to relax, work, or spend time together. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped — it has everything you need and more for cooking, including all the necessary appliances and utensils. We truly loved our stay and would highly, highly recommend this place to anyone. Would definitely come back!

An incredibly beautiful house in the perfect location. We had such a great stay over a rainy week where the indoor fire was such a treat. We had some issues with the hot water but the host was very helpful and we eventually got it sorted. A really beautiful and well considered home.

We were absolutely enchanted. Vanessa has a great decor taste. A lot of attention to detail. In addition, we were very warmly welcomed. The house is equipped with everything you need. We had a very nice week in Vanessa's beautiful house.

Stunning house, incredible host and support when needed. Had a door sticking on arrival, and Hanel had a locksmith around within 30 minutes to fix it and make our stay more comfortable. The location is great, beach across the road is stunning for swimming. We really enjoyed our time in Gordons Bay and this beautiful home.

The pictures do not lie, The Brickhouse is amazing! Nestled on a hill with fantastic views of Hout Bay. We had a beautiful 10 days there and I cannot wait to go back. Our host Mark was so friendly and accommodating . Thank you again Mark!!

Me and my family had a wonderfull experience staying at Nicky's place, we will for sure make this a regular vist. Extremly well thought out and practical beautifull home, the views is exeptional, furniture is comfortable, kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, home from home, love the big kitchen island. What stood out for me was the beautifull paintings in every room, so perfectly selected to compliment the home. We felt very safe and the additional security features is great. Close to the walking trails, quiet neigbourhood. We cant wait to be back.

A really nice comfortable and homely space with everything you need and easily accessible and close to everything in Kalk Bay. We walked everywhere which was really cool and made it easy for everyone to do their own thing when needed. Loved our stay here.

We LOVED the house and felt very comfortable there. It is very quite, safe, close to the beach and the house is just beautiful. Very tasteful interior design and everything needed was there. We would love to come back some time. Definitely recommendable!!!

What a great Simon’s Town find; and a great AirBnB experience! Richard was super accommodating and easy to interact with. The place is gorgeous with beautiful views. I particularly liked the entertainment areas. Perfect for a weekend away, or I imagine longer stays.

Heaven. A slice of heaven. Wow. I cannot recommend this place enough. The views are breathtaking, the decor is perfectly cozy for a trip to the seaside, the restaurants in the village exceeded our expectation and the location was conveniently only a couple hours out from Cape Town. We also loved how close it was to Betty's Bay to see the penguins and to gorgeous hiking trails. The host was so helpful and friendly - sharing great recommendations and offering us flexible check-in and check-out options. Highly recommend! Cannot wait to visit again!
