Monthly Rentals in Golden Grove

We had a fabulous few days as a family at Garden Cottage - Diane & Thomas made us feel very welcome & it really was a home from home stay. The cottage & garden are wonderful with plenty of room for 5 of us adults and our dog & such a lovely big private garden for her to run around in. There's lovely walks around the property & the surrounding area is breathtaking. We did trips out to Brecon Falls, Llansteffan Beach & Dinefwr house & gardens from the cottage so it was a great base. Definitely a fabulous find!

We had a lovely few days at the Barn, using is as a base to explore the valleys, and sights in Carmarthenshire. The Barn is lovely and cosy - and actually feels bigger than it looks on the pictures. We loved the wood burning stove, with fuel provided and fire made the first night, which was a real treat to use - and if you are visiting at the right time of year, be sure to look outside at the stars in the dead of night, because we were able to see so much. The place would be easy to miss if you didn’t know where you were going, but we had very clear instructions beforehand and found it no trouble. To anyone wondering about the internet - some reviews here mention WiFi, but as advertised, there is no WiFi - which we actually enjoyed. If you need internet, mobile data doesn’t really work inside the barn, but was available as soon as one stepped outside, which was fine for our satnav purposes. Ann also offered to help us access the internet if there was an issue, but this wasn’t needed.

I had a wonderful stay at this place! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-located. Host was very responsive, helpful and made check-in and check-out a breeze. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would love to stay again in the future!

A lovely little quirky place to stay. I loved being able to open a door and see the beautiful garden from my bed. Great area for exploring. Lovely and peaceful place to stay, with the soothing sound of sheep nearby.
