Monthly Rentals in Glenmidge Burn

We’ve just returned from a fabulous stay in Jo’s glamping pod. It’s so much more than a pod and definitely a luxurious option. Both the main bed and the sofa bed are very comfortable and the linens and towels are of great quality. The kitchen is well-equipped and Jo has thought of everything. I always take a bag with essentials such as a sponge, tea towel, washing up liquid etc, but these weren’t needed. Jo even provides shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, should you need it. There is a drawer full of ordinance survey maps and guide books for the area and a folder with all the information you need for your stay. Jo is very friendly and knowledgeable. Not only does she provide great information about the local area, but she will let you know when the badgers are out feeding. We spent almost every evening glued to the window at the back of the garage, watching a large badger cub eating the peanuts and egg that Jo leaves for them. Thanks so much for a fabulous and memorable stay.

Stayed with Ruth and Sylvia for a couple days and it's an experience we won't forget. A true gem of a find and a perfect escape from the mundane day-today. this isn't just a typical airbnb property that your staying at but an entire experience. Waking up to the roosters crow, being cosy by the log fire, eating local produce and interacting with pigs, horses, chickens, geese, cows, an adorable dog and grouse flying around. truly unforgettable. Can't fault the hosts Ruth and Sylvia who were both extremely pleasant and kept us well informed. We'll definetly return in the future.

It has been a pleasure to stay in Zan's house. Very comfortable, clean and makes you feel at home. The children loved the horses, chickens and all the animals. It was the perfect spot to recharge our batteries

This is without doubt the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in. Beautifully done and attention to detail second to none. The artworks and decor made me feel so at home which was very needed on this trip for various reasons. The area is beautiful and the little seating space outside an extra bonus with amazing views over countryside. It’s so quiet and peaceful. We met Sheila in the morning when she made us a lovely breakfast and she is a lovely and interesting woman. Thanks Sheila! When we get home we’ll send you a pressie but for now, thanks so much for having us ❤️
