main pros: right next to highway. well maintained property. hot running water,wifi, kitchen,etc.. everything is just like home. kayak, firepit , bbq. main con: not isolated enough, if you are looking for such isolation experience.

As a foodie, I appreciated how well equipped the kitchen was. As a person sorely in need of a vacation, I appreciated the quality muskoka chairs that were well-placed to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets. Despite having no wifi, the kids enjoyed themselves immensely too, and we all felt like fantastic parents. Would go back.

Manitoulin Permaculture is a wonderful diverse community of warm, friendly and welcoming people from all over the world. I was welcomed warmly and instantly made to feel like I was part of the family/community. My stay was short, but I sense that the friendships will last a long time. This is a working Permaculture Farm with lots of opportunity to observe and to help out if you so choose. The Lotus Bell tent is lovely. It is well set up with a very comfortable bed, lots of blankets to keep you warm on chilly nights, a small table and good lighting with a power bar to plug in your computer or cell phone if necessary. The owners keep it very clean. It is situated in a very private location if this is important to you. The private outdoor toilet is rustic and very clean. The AirBnB Kitchen is part of the main house. It is well supplied with a fridge, countertop appliances, dishes and cutlery. I look forward to staying here again when I next return to Manitoulin.

We had a lovely two night stay in Little Current. Janyn's place was just right for us with easy access to shops and to the gorgeous waterfront where we went walking in the evenings. Great pizza place at Dockside Social too!
