Naoko-san was an absolutely phenomenal host. Always responded to questions promptly and helpfully. Gave great recommendations for nearby restaurants and activites, and even offered helpful tips on navigating around the nearby station. It is a ways outside the city of Tokyo , and felt like an excellent respite from the hustle, bustle, and commotion while we explored the city for our first time The apartment itself is cozy and organized perfectly to maximize the space and keep it from ever feeling cramped This was the best experience either I or my guests have ever had with an airbnb, and has become an absolute must to come back the next time we come back to Japan

Everything was great, Mari picked us up from the train station and recommended nearby shops. A dozen minutes walk from the station, the accommodation is quite well connected to Tokyo (about 30 minutes from the station to Ikebukuro with the Tobu-Tojo line). The rooms were spacious and the neighborhood, peaceful and pretty.

The contact with the hosts was very nice. The preparations were clearly worded, the apartment met exactly the expectations that the photos convey. You've been thinking about my plans and actively looking for information. That was really helpful!

A little far from the station, but its definitely manageable. The place is great! I definitely recommend staying at Hiroyuki’s place if you are looking for something outside of Tokyo; plus you can easily reach ikebukuro in about 20 minutes.
