Fabulous place to stay, very clean and comfortable. Had everything you would need. The peace and quiet was lovely, just bird song and rustling leaves of the trees. We loved it. Would absolutely recommend. Great places to walk to. The picnic area is great to walk in a loop, this leads you to The Ramblers Retreat, a great tea room for everyone a lovely spring that provides fresh water for doggos, which ours loved. fab food too. From there you can do great woodlands walks in Dimmingsdale forest too.

a magical stay, that was just what we needed. we had lots of fun wild swimming, using the kayaks, BBQ and lots of lovely walks near by. Great for families or a romantic getaway. We feel we have found a very special place, and hope to come back soon to create more happy memories

Great stay in this lovely cottage. Beautifully decorated and everything you need. We stayed for two nights whilst visiting Alton Towers and this was perfectly located as only 18 minutes drive. The second bedroom is tiny but has bunk beds and accommodated a 12 and 14 year old just fine for two nights. Easy check in and a parking space for one car. Quiet setting with a nice park area just a few steps down the lane from the cottage. It was a perfect place to stay and suited us well.

We had such a lovely time here - a beautiful location and little touches that made us feel so welcome and at home. A lovely private, peaceful location, ideal enclosed garden space for the dog to run around in and gorgeous views for yoga and meditation outside. It was lovely getting to know Shirley and Maurice too, really was a great stay. We’ve never revisited an Airbnb but are already thinking about coming back - Louie the dog loved it as much as we did 😊
