Don’t let the drive up intimidate you—once you’ve done it once, it’s a breeze! The views along the way are absolutely breathtaking and set the tone for a peaceful getaway. The property itself was homey, clean, and wonderfully quiet—just what we needed to relax. The surrounding landscape was stunning and made every moment feel special. Our host was kind and responsive, going above and beyond by locating a personal item we accidentally left behind and shipping it back to us. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would gladly return!

This home went above our expectations. The condo was so spacious. It felt like a brand new home. It was impeccably, clean and free of any clutter. The natural light is amazing. You can’t go wrong with the area as there are a couple walkable restaurants, and a little market. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the amenities the condo had to offer. The host was very responsive and left us detailed instructions and detailed information once we were in the condo. Definitely looking forward to booking this again and letting everyone know what a beautiful property it is!

It was a great place to stay. Be aware that this cabin is above 9,000ft and can contribute to elevation sickness. Beyond that it was amazing to hear the water in the stream while we were outside playing. Very quiet and not very busy road. The water pressure could have been better, but got the job done. It’s hard to fault pressure when the place is on top of a mountain:).

A breathtaking lake‑view retreat—truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived at this beautiful Grand Lake house, we were in awe! The property is spotless and wonderfully decorated, with spacious rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Waking up to that stunning lake view and enjoying our coffee on the deck was absolutely magical. Our host was incredibly thoughtful and responsive—everything from check-in instructions to local recommendations (hikes, restaurants, boat rentals) was super helpful and made our stay seamless. We loved the personal touches like cozy blankets, clear house instructions, and the little welcome treat upon arrival. The location is perfect—peaceful and private, yet just a short drive from Grand Lake town. We spent our afternoons kayaking on the lake and evenings watching the sunset—it was pure relaxation. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Grand Lake and can’t wait to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful mountain home. The house was incredibly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect—close to local spots to eat in Empire, and just a short drive to Loveland Ski Area, Georgetown, and Idaho Springs. It was so quiet and serene, and sitting in the hot tub overlooking the creek was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Linda was very communicative and made the check-in process super easy. Overall, a peaceful mountain retreat with great access to everything you need nearby. Highly recommend!

Amazing place right on the river. Caught a few fish and enjoyed the hot tub! The hot tub broke while we were there and they got it quickly fixed so we didn’t miss out! On a Sunday! Don’t miss out on this amazing place!

Really nice condo, gorgeous surroundings in the mountains. Very peaceful and serene area, we absolutely loved our stay. The actual condo building itself is dated and not fancy, however this condo is updated, spacious, and very comfortable. We had a group of four, 2 adults and 2 teens, and we all slept well in the comfy beds and felt refreshed for our adventurous days. We made dinner in the condo each night and had some really memorable family time together. Highly recommend and we will be back if we're ever lucky enough to return to the rockies!

The space served perfectly for our long weekend in Winter Park! It was a 5 minute drive to the ski resort and there were lots of restaurants in walking distance of the property. The club house with a pool and hot tub was also a short walk. The place its self was very spacious and well kept. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies making it easy to cook meals at home. Martha was very kind and was easy to communicate with. Overall our whole trip was seamless and we had a wonderful time! Thanks Martha!!

Amazing condo with beautiful surroundings! The Fraser River is literally out the back door, with grilles, a bench and hammock - making it the perfect summer destination. Condo has all the amenities you could ask for and plenty of natural light. John is super responsive too. Thank you for having me and the crew!

The great location (right behind the best western) made this a really easy place to stay, and it's across the street from the bus stop to Winter Park. Something like four bus lines stop there - I think the longest I waited for a bus was five minutes. The locker at the resort is a total game-changer and made everything so much easier. If you're a ski town airbnb host reading this (anywhere) and have the ability to get a locker for your guests, please do it! The roku in the living room made streaming easy.

Loved our stay! We went for the skiing at Winter Park which was so conveniently close. The condo itself was perfect for our family. We ate in most evenings (although there are so many good restaurants near by) and enjoyed our post-ski evenings unwinding in the unit. Tammy was a wonderful and communicative host!

Great home base for adventuring Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake, AND Lake Granby! Had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway in the mountains! Easy to find, easy to access. Leah was very quick to respond!

We loved our stay! The Airbnb was in a beautiful, peaceful location—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The space itself was clean, cozy, and incredibly welcoming. One of our favorite parts was spending evenings by the lake, which offered the most stunning view of the stars. Our only wish is that swimming had been allowed, as the lake looked so inviting. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Centrally located and quiet place on the river. Check-in was easy and we didn't have any issues during our stay. It's certainly not a fancy ski chalet if you're into that, but it is a great homebase for adventures in the area.
