Waterfront holiday rentals in Folkestone & Hythe District

Very spacious and comfortable flat with amazing panoramic view of the ocean. It was easy to park the car for free at a nearby park and walk to the new and old town. The beds were super comfy.

We had another great stay Josie's place. Fantastic location, view and we really love opening the bedroom window and balcony door to get a lovely breeze all the way through the flat! Will stay again.

Gorgeous huge funky modern stylised Appartment with super comfy quiet bedroom. Equipped with everything and more you could want or need. Quality towels and powerful shower with luxury of deep bath to relax after walking the seafront to Hastings which is only a short Amble away. Cafes and eateries galore on your doorstep- particularly liked botanica for breakfast and the farmyard near the station. Easy to get around via buses to rye, battle and day trip via train to Brighton. Zee leaves comprehensive lists of well researched places to eat to suit all budgets. Shopping fantastic and great quirky vintage shops everywhere. I’ve photo shot so many beautiful recipes from a well stocked bookcase of great cookery books, book this place it’s fantastic , thank you Zed 6 stars x

Spotless caraven in a great location. Everything we needed was provided. Great attention to detail so we could relax and enjoy our stay. Julie was always quick to respond and help with any questions. Would stay again 100%

The highlight of this apartment is of course its location. You can't get any closer to the sea, and that's what we were looking for. The apartment is decorated with taste. Downside for the really tiny bathroom and the not very pleasant smell in it. The sofa deserves to be renewed. The rest was perfect and excellent communication.

Thank you Mathew for allowing us to stay with our dogs. Even though our stay was an emotional one, we felt right at home and that made things a whole lot easier. Being Autistic with other disabilities/difficulties, it can be very hard travelling and staying away at different locations. From the moment we arrived we felt like we belonged which really helped me to cope, thank you We loved the basement apartment, it was perfect from everything it offered, to the unique quaintness of its character, to how quiet it was, to feeling so warm and inviting. We look forward to returning again

Perfect destination for a long weekend 😀 Super clean, beautifully decorated flat literally 5 mins walk to the sea. Whitstable around a 25 minute flat walk along the coast road with ice cream parlours en route. Owners very helpful and left a lovely selection of treats including wine and a selection of baked goods. Everything thought of including toiletries, charging cables and cushions on the outdoor furniture. High quality of fixtures and fittings throughout. Absolutely loved the enclosed private garden with flowers and chirping sparrows. Close to restaurants, take aways or a nice M&S for eating in. Would recommend to anyone.

Great place to stay. Close to the beach and promenade. Plenty of variety in the many local restaurants and cafes nearby. Hastings pier and town is a short walk away.

From the moment we stepped inside River House Rye we knew that we had chosen he right place ! A real home from home, but with a unique design that we simply wouldn't dare to do ... such a great place to stay and so easy to explore Rye without moving the car off the very spacious drive ! Globe pub very close by, provided ideal location to eat & refresh as did other places that Helen recommended. Even a little drizzle couldn't spoil our visit .... simply fantastic! We will definitely return 🫶

We had a wonderful (albeit brief) stay at Jane’s beautiful home! The space was spotless, stylish, and so comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The pool was a real highlight, and we’re already looking forward to coming back and making the most of it next time. Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier than planned due to personal reasons, but Jane was incredibly understanding and kind about our situation. She was a fantastic host throughout—thoughtful, responsive, and welcoming. A special thank you for the delicious-looking marmalade waiting for us on arrival! We can’t wait to enjoy it at breakfast. Highly recommend Jane’s place for anyone looking for a peaceful and lovely escape. We hope to return soon!

What a wonderful, inviting, homely yet funky home. We celebrated a birthday with a group of friends and it was perfect. Every room was beautifully laid out, the cinema room was brilliant, the kitchen was equipped and the bar was brilliant. Monique and Sally were fantastic, giving us a brilliant recommendation of the coastguard arms which we walked to along gorgeous coastline. Deal town was buzzy with a market on, on the Saturday which we walked through. It was everything I hoped for and more when I booked!

Honestly, words can’t describe how grateful I am for Sheila and to be able to stay here to celebrate my birthday. Absolutely amazing communication!! So kind and friendly. The house was amazing and THE VIEW was incredible. I cannot recommend this place enough. I would more than come back here again. But if you’re looking for a sign to book this place, this is it!! This is such a lovely apartment, in the best location in Broadstairs. We walked everywhere and the hosts sent us some helpful instructions about restaurants and other sights we might like to see. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely, welcoming retreat in the heart of Canterbury. There is a peaceful and private oasis on the back terrace where one can have a drink or a meal and listen to the birds, river, and happy daytime activities happening in the nearby park. Good view of the cathedral from the upstairs front window, and wonderful view of the river from the upstairs back balcony and windows! The location is close to everything (very walkable) and easy to find. The bed was very comfortable. Hosts were kind and responsive. We would certainly stay there again if we return to Canterbury.

I ended up cancelling, however, the host was most accommodating, responded to my messages within minutes and will be booking to stay at a future date.

We had a wonderful time at Nic’s place. Nic was super nice, always response and very clear in her instructions. Pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful it is. It is so tastefully done, paying attention to the smallest details. Be it the condiments at the kitchen, the books collection or the list of board and card games. While we loved reading in the garden when it was sunny, our absolute favourite part was being able to watch as rain trickled down the window and skylight whilst comfortably sat in the sofa. We absolutely loved this place and would definitely come back again.

Sue was an absolutely wonderful host. She communicated with me prior to the trip to make sure that everything went smoothly. She was extremely responsive and even came to help when we needed her. Her apartment was perfect for what we were looking for, she was very thoughtful and we felt right at home. If ever we’re back in Deal, we will definitely stay at her apartment again!

This is a beautifully located flat with a stunning view of the beach, just in the middle of everything. The flat was impeccably clean and simply furnished. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bed comfy. The only disadvantage was that it was very warm even at the end of May. Sara provided fans, but there didn’t appear to be a window to open in the bedroom. We would love to go back to it though as it was lovely in every other respect

Everything was as described and clean. Communication with Pierre is very straightforward. We will be happy to come back :)

Fabulous appartement with superb sea view. Excellent host, always responsive. The only downside was that we found the local neighbourhood less attractive than expected, but it can be a good outpost to explore for example Rye, Battle and Brighton. (There's a lovely sandy beach near Rye in a town/village called Camber, but beware of seagulls if you picnic, which you must because the quality of the local shops on the beach is terrible.)

Kimberley was an excellent host, extremely responsive and so helpful and understanding. she gave lots of tips for the area and the property is in the very centre of Hastings, right on the seafront and next to old town. This does come with slight noise that you would expect being on a main road, but the property is really funky and unique inside - love the decor and location. perfect Hastings get away - visit the fire fields!

We were greeted by Phil and Jenny who made us very welcome and they went through a few things with us. The accommodation was first class with a view outstanding. Everything was of good quality and the bed was comfortable. The walk in shower was great and hot. What more could anyone possibly require We will go again. Many thanks Phil and Jenny
