Cuckoo Barn - perfect cosy getaway

MahdiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My wife and I stayed for a few nights as a peaceful getaway, and the property was amazing and perfect. Roz was very proactive in sending us instructions prior to our visit, and was very responsive to any questions or queries we had. She is based on-site and so was easily contactable when we needed. She is a very flexible and accommodating host who resolved any questions or issues we ran into during our stay (including running out of tea!), and directed us to nice places to eat. The property is a quaint cottage-like place that is super cosy and has all the amenities we needed, including a space to park right outside. The place was very clean and organised, and had a really nice atmosphere especially when the sun was shining. The dogs Coco and Molly were also so friendly and adorable! Molly came round one evening for a pets and scratches session. Highly recommended and will definitely be trying to come back again.

The Railway Carriage, Woodchurch, Kent

ElenaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We absolutely loved our stay at the Railway Carriage! It was quiet, quaint and comfortable and the hosts, Alex and Phil, were super accomodating and helpful (and their dog willow was super cute and friendly too). The beautiful scenery surrounding the cabin is nothing short of gorgeous, with a winery and two pubs in short walking distance. We particularly loved sitting in front of the fire, watching the sunset over the lake. Definitely recommend!! One thing to note is that the only power outlet available was 12V, so make sure you either have a 12V phone charger or just remember to pack a portable charger!

The Bothy @ Brightling Park Estate

VinceRating, 5 stars1 day ago
The Bothy is an amazing space in a fantastic location. Quiet, tranquil and definitely off-grid. Helena was a welcoming, friendly and helpful host who provided everything we needed. The Bothy is beautifully appointed and very relaxing to inhabit. There are many places to visit locally if you can tear yourself away. This place is absolutely ideal for people looking to get away from it all. It is described as "off-grid" and it is - so make sure you take fully-charged power banks. We will definitely return!

Luxurious, picture-perfect, stunning treehouse

JudithRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful Easter stay at the treehouse. It is a beautiful location in the middle of nowhere - we felt like we were nesting in the trees- with lovely woods for our children to play in (there was an epic Easter egg hunt). But it is also very close to lots of places of interest to explore. Very cosy to return to after a day out with a very clever and well stocked kitchen. Our kids loved their sleeping loft, the wood burner and the visiting cat. We will definitely come back

Snap Mill Barn Country Holiday Let

HannahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Sonia, and can’t recommend this place highly enough! We are very frequent weekend away-ers and this is one of favourite stays so far. Sonia was super friendly and welcoming, and messaged us in advance with some helpful instructions to find the place. The barn / annex is absolutely perfect - really well laid out and had absolutely everything we needed plus some goodies like bread, marmalade and milk which we really appreciated! I don’t think the photos do it justice, but it’s a great space and was spotlessly clean too. It’s clear to see that Sonia puts a lot of effort into the Airbnb. Her own property is immaculately kept too, with a garden so stunning that I asked if I could take a picture, which makes the surroundings really stunning. Overall we had a lovely weekend and would definitely suggest others choose this place for their stays too!

Would definitely recommend this to friends and are very likely to return. Enjoyed local pub The Coach a walk away for burgers and cocktails. Shopped in the local Algar Lodge Farm Shop. The place was easy to find, well maintained, and completely matched the photos. We loved the hot tub. Very peaceful getaway.

Romantic countryside hideaway

SarahRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Probably the best air bnb I've stayed at in the UK. This is such a romantic little get away, private, stunning views, and a little home that has a gorgeous hotel feel to it whilst being self contained. The hot tub and fireplace an absolutely cherry on the top, easy to use, well set up, and private. To top it all off Tracy is a wonderful host. Warm and friendly, equally to humans and dogs! I've already re-booked for summer :)

Delightful 1 bedroom lodge with hot tub

JustinaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Fuggles is nicely tucked away from the buzz of the city, but the area is still very easy to find, the lodge and surroundings private and quiet. The cabin was well equiped with everything we needed to cook and rest and we felt a warm welcome from the start with yumy gifts left for us and nice and clear instructions on how to use the hot tub, etc. Beautiful nature all around - we saw a bunny just outside the window and had the comfiest ever bird watching from the hot tub. Perfect weekend escape, recommended.

Railwayman's Hut with Swimming Pond

MarkRating, 5 stars5 days ago
If you are looking for an escape that puts you in the heart of nature, is a bit different from the normal and makes you feel like you are on an adventure then this place should be top of your list. Caz is a brilliant host, always helpful, the arrival video explaining how to get to the property a really nice touch and checking that we were ok both on arrival and in the morning lovely. The swimming pond was beautiful, weather you wanted to swim or walk round and observe the nature and the beauty. You can walk right round, sit peacefully and watch nature, sunbathe on the hidden loungers. We will be back.

Idyllic and Secluded Lakeside Lodge

WillRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This was an incredible stay, greeted upon arrival and James helped me take my guitar and bags down to the house I could play loud music which helped with my jamming session.. the fish/lake was lovely and you could take the boat out which was so fun. The firepit was amazing and we even got extra marshmellows. Friendly guy and just felt like it was your own home. It was private and you’re left to it which I really liked. Thank you so much if I could give 6 stars you defiantly have earned it. I’ll likely return a few times here and there when I can. I loved having the eggs and milk and bread and fish food too which was a nice touch.. honestly it was just the stay I needed.

Countryside Cabin with Private Patio

ClaireRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Booked 2 nights for a birthday treat for my husband. We had the loveliest of stays. The Snuggery is absolutely beautiful and the surroundings lovely and peaceful...the perfect place to relax and unwind. Thanks to Kate's recommendations we found a couple of local farm shops to buy some nice treats to enjoy during our stay. Everything about The Snuggery was so comfortable and homely, we were sad to leave! We will definitely be back again in the future, thanks so much Kate for the perfect birthday getaway xx

With private hot tub and view of the steam railway

SophieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Me and my partner stayed here last weekend and were absolutely blown away at how beautiful and perfect this Shepard hut really was. The shepherd hut is clean, cosy and secluded with everything you need. And the decor is beautiful. It’s a perfect location for relaxing stay and is topped off with an amazing hot tub that’s easy to use. Craig and Caroline are awesome host with great communication through the whole process and the stay. They are pleasure to deal with. The local town is a 2 min walk with some lovely shops , pubs and restaurants. Me and my partner can’t wait to return

Glamping in The Herdsman's Hut at Broxhall Farm

GrahamRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We have just returned from a wonderful weekend at Ellen's Herdsman's Hut on Great Broxhall Farm. Communication with Ellen was first class from the moment of booking, up to and beyond our stay. Ellen and husband Tom, were so friendly upon arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. The Herdsman's Hut was exactly as described. Clean, cosy, private, peaceful and an all round treat. Included in the price was use of the firepit/bbq with a supply of timber, often these facilities are seen as an opportunity to charge further - not only were they included, but Ellen advised that should we require any more firewood then that too would be free of charge. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, with some lovely additional touches including tea/coffee making supplies (including a jug of milk in the fridge) and some delicious biscuits. We genuinely couldn't fault any part of our stay and feel certain we will be making a return visit.
