A place of inspiration We couldn't be more happy about how the stay went. It was the perfect, peaceful, away-from-the-buzz place we were looking for. And Neil and Kate were very friendly and hospitable. We loved the fact that the Buzzards watch had it's own enclosed outdoor, garden-space looking out to the fields beyond. But the highlight was definitely their wildlife garden and pond; we enjoyed and appreciated the work they put into it to make it as beautiful as it is. The price for a 4-night weekend was surprisingly great and a steal. It is also in an ideal location to explore around Cardigan, the iron village, multiple pre-historic burial chambers, Cenarth falls, the Welsh wildlife centre, and plenty of stunning beaches, to name a few. In short, this place inspired us and we are definitely planning to come back again.

The place was exactly as described. It has everything you need for a self catering stay. Cutlery, crockery, appliances, strong wi fi, parking, good toiletries, lovely welcome pack of goodies. We couldn't fault anything and although Alan was on holiday we also had a contact number for his daughter who was local in case anything went wrong. We had a fantastic, relaxing week at Amanda and Ian’s cosy cottage in Wales. The beds were super comfy, the temperature perfect, and the peaceful surroundings made for a lovely break. The cottage had everything we needed—well-equipped kitchen with all essentials and a decent freezer compartment, plus a great bathroom with towels, toiletries, a powerful shower and even a first aid kit. The welcome touches of traditional Welsh cakes, apple juice, tea, coffee and milk were so thoughtful and much appreciated. Shortly after we arrived, the Wi-Fi went down due to a local fault completely beyond Amanda and Ian’s control, but they were excellent—quick to contact us, visited in person, and kept us fully updated until it was sorted, which didn’t take long. Their warm, attentive hosting made us feel very welcome and well looked after. We would absolutely recommend this cottage and would be very happy to return for another peaceful and comfortable stay in the future.
