Stayed at this lovely property with my son for a day at Alton Towers. Everything as described and Kelly is a perfect host. Cottage was spotless, kitchen well equipped and beds extremely comfortable. A few pubs within easy walking distance and Alton Towers carpark less than 10 mins drive. Perfect!

Amazing location for Alton Towers and cottage was great space and worked well for the family. Only niggle was a noise monitor that pinged us saying we were being too loud - we were a family group with a baby all in bed by 10:30pm and spent the evening playing board games- so hardly rock n roll and it was 8pm on a Saturday when we started getting alerts whilst playing board games - felt a bit like we couldn’t speak or laugh - maybe lower tolerance of the monitor or just do it later ?

We had a wonderful time with our family and dog at The Barn. David and Tess were super friendly and provided some great local recommendations. The location is stunning and a short walk or drive to great days out. The place was very clean and cosy and the kids loved to watch the cows out of the window. We hope to return soon and highly recommend!
