The unit was cosy and well-designed. Perfect for a short getaway. We booked last minute and were so grateful for how smooth everything was. Waking up to the sounds of local wildlife made it feel like a peaceful retreat. A charming spot with everything we needed, set in a beautiful, natural setting.

We loved staying at Laurelle’s place. She was very easy to communicate with and went out of her way to find us a portacot, even though we booked very last minute! The space is small but very neat and tidy and filled with thoughtful details. There is even a teapot with real tea! My daughter also loved the chickens!

We had a fantastic stay at this peaceful farm retreat in Taradale. It was our first getaway with our 5 month old who loved the morning walks around the property. We bought along our pet beagle who enjoyed the company of the resident dogs. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, they were quick to respond to any questions we had. If you're looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a slower pace, this place is perfect. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

The cottage was great, with scenic surrounds and very easy access to the mountain bike park for those interested. And the 2 lovely dogs were so friendly and welcoming !
