This was the perfect escape and exceeded all our expectations. The views were stunning, the accommodation had everything we needed and felt beautifully fresh and clean. The beds were really comfortable and I loved the decor. Our hosts were welcoming and very helpful. I only wish we could have stayed longer. I would highly recommend this little gem of a cottage.

Nigel and Penny were charming hosts who provided more than the average details of the locality and suggestions of what activities were available The barn is very rural and quite quaint . It’s everything you could wish for if you want a complete countryside getaway Although the twin bedded room is accessed via exterior steps only, it was very cute and the beds were extremely comfortable with lovely feather duvets The forest is literally right on your doorstep. It’s an ideal stay for anyone with a dog.

The place is perfect for total relaxation, peace and quiet all around . The caravan has all the essentials needed for an enjoyable stay, big credit to Rob and Lucy, our hosts.

Had a lovely relaxing weekend at Dovedale, it was very homely and had everything we needed for a weekend break, hot tub was lovely, met the Alpacas which was a lovely experience. Mike was very friendly and provided us with everything we needed. Would definitely come back 😊
