This is a nice private location. It’s at the end of a gated driveway. There is a small horse stable present as well. It can be hard to find if you are arriving after dark. Some lights on the gate or a light at the end of the driveway would help. I called Phil to help find the location - he was very helpful and friendly, and answered right away. I texted to say I was arriving late due to flights and he already had the A/C on for me. Great little kitchen. Bed was comfortable. Great place to stay! Many thanks to the hosts.

This lovely cabin off the beaten path was exactly what I needed during my teaching stay at Chi University. The e was so clean, and the decor was really lovely - is certainly did not feel like a rental property, and I have already booked my next teaching stay. Exceptional place, thank you Kate.

We enjoyed feeding the animals. We brought apples and carrots for them. The baby goats are adorable, and Highland cows and donkeys and ponies! We rented a slip for our bass boat at Sportsmans Cove nearby. The fishing was not very good maybe due to time of year, but we caught a few small bass. The hydrilla is thick throughout Orange Lake. The Airbnb had a comfortable bed. We requested an additional portable heater because the one heater wasn't enough for both rooms, and it was immediately provided. . The induction stove has only one burner, but there is also a crock pot and an air fryer and outdoor grill. As other reviews stated, the dogs do bark in the mornings at times, and roosters crow very early. We used ear plugs at night which helped us to sleep. Don't miss the huge old Live Oak in their front yard that's hundreds of years old!
