House holiday rentals in Essendon

This is the perfect place if you're looking for a pleasant, semi rural location for a medium short or even a long stay. Alieh is the perfect host and the flat itself has everything you need. We were 2 Brits coming to OZ for a year and needed somewhere to stay for a month while finding out feet. This worked beautifully for us. The location is slightly out of the way which for us was fine as we could come back to our haven after job hunting and football training. Alieh was brilliant to deal with and took us under her wing. Great Host, perfect for hosting large groups, plenty of privacy for group of couples. Spacious and clean for reasonable price in a big group.

Robert was a fabulous host as he was responsive and helpful. The house was ideal for our 3 generations to stay as it was homely and had enough space for everyone to co exist. We could relax and enjoy the place without worrying about the house being too pristine to move. Great family getaway. Thanks Robert.

Beautiful house, great interior design. Very comfortable. Had everything needed. Family of 5 with young kids and house was perfect for family and good location to access the beach. Amazing we could bring our dog. We needed garage access which this property had. Couple of things to maybe be aware of - we didnt pick up in the listing (unsure if I overlooked) :Train runs 1x house away really reguarly and continued through the night -potentially disturbing. We specifically seeked a house with a pool and paid extra for this. Aim was to hang around pool for the weekend. But pool was cold and only 1/5th of us could go in and tolerate it. For us this spoilt our weekend plans and we felt we paid extra for something we couldnt use. If we had known we would have paid less for a house without a pool. This for us did spoilt our trip, kids were disappointed. But this may have been listed and overlooked, or our fault for not asking, and was specificaly a need for us- you may be different :)

The landlord renovated the house and introduced the measures. I was very satisfied with the house. It was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it.

The host was very responsive in replying to messages, especially when we needed an earlier check in and when we needed help because we locked ourselves out. She arranged for someone to come within 30 mins to help us get in. The place itself was enormous, modern, clean and a perfect setting for any group holiday or to host a gathering.

This place was amazing! From the moment I made the booking, Nicola was responsive and very welcoming to deal with. Nothing was missed and everything was taken care of from milk in the fridge to treats upon our arrival. The beds were comfy and the house was warm and stylish. We really had a fantastic stay and would not hesitate to recommend staying there to anyone.

My family had a lovely stay as the place was well maintained and very central to Yarraville which is what we wanted. Had a small issue with the rug in the lounge room but it was very promptly and graciously dealt with by Hanna.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cute little house. Yarraville is a happening place with lots of good eateries and Melbourne city centre is an easy short rail trip from Seddon station - 6 or 7 minutes away. Highly recommended! Chris

We had such a beautiful stay at this family home in Essendon. The house was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully styled—perfect for our family. Tam was extremely helpful and responsive to my questions. The place was very clean and had individual aircon control rather than a central unit, which is good if you are travelling in a large group. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful week staying in this Airbnb for the F1, lots of space for our group of 5 people. 5min walk to the train. Great kitchen and outdoor space, the renovation is very nice. I think the space was better in real life! Would definitely stay again if in Melbourne 😊

A fantastic stay! Yosi was incredibly helpful and kind — when we had trouble fitting our luggage into the car for our Great Ocean Road trip, he quickly helped us find a solution. His responses were always fast and thoughtful. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and very cozy. The location is excellent, with easy access to public transport, supermarkets, and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend Yoshi’s place — great host and great home!
