Great place to stay. Beach, shopping and restaurants all within walking distance. Quiet neighborhood. Quality toilet paper. Perfect for one person, but could work for two people as well.

This was such a beautiful guest house in a nice, peaceful, and quiet neighborhood. Everything was really clean and the amenities were amazing! Communication was great and the hosts Zach and Eva were so polite and very friendly with quick response times. There’s a fun Las Vegas theme outdoor area near the pool and their garden is gorgeous. There are stairs in the house that are steep so they might be a little bit difficult for someone with a physical disability or the elderly but this is listed in the description. Overall, I highly recommend this listing to anyone wanting to stay near San Diego!

Absolutely worth it. Beautiful place. Cozy with gorgeous gardens. Also a nice welcome touch of bowl of fruits, chocolates and plenty to drink. Loved it.

A very peaceful and spacious rental for our San Diego trip. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked with everything you need, and the patio and backyard seating area were wonderful extensions of the space to enjoy the gorgeous weather and landscaping. Our super friendly host gave us great recommendations for adventures, restaurants, and neighborhood walks that we really enjoyed. And bonus points for Koa (doggie host) who is the absolute sweetest!

Nestled right by the ocean (2mi), it’s a peaceful, serene retreat with beautiful greenery and a calming atmosphere that melts all your stress away. Every corner of the space is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. If you’re looking for a quiet, luxurious, and welcoming escape by the sea, look no further. Leanne and Jim’s place is a hidden gem, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We had a fabulous time at the Granny Flat! Everything was pristine and Kristen has thought of every amenity. She was kind and responsive. We loved the peaceful backyard with gorgeous views. The location is super convenient and a max of 25-30 mins to anywhere else in the SD area. Our pups had a great time, too! Would love to stay here again!

Jeanne and John's place was exactly as advertised in the description and photographs. The backyard and pool were beautiful unfortunately the weather and our schedule of events did not permit us time to indulge. If we ever needed a place in the area again we would definitely reserve another stay. We felt so welcomed and the extras were so thoughtful...like a balloon for my husband's birthday and a handwritten welcome letter. Thank you for the hospitality!

We had a great stay at Atoosa’s place when we were in La Jolla for a wedding! The amenities were great and the location was super peaceful and beautiful. The place itself is also super cute. We’d love to stay again if we’re in the area!

The Airbnb was very comfy for the family of 5 we had. It was nice and clean when we arrived and we were planning to buy stuff like shampoo, detergent and water but all of those amenities were included with our stay here. Definitely saved us money and time. Aside from how far the stores from there, I definitely recommend this place for a comfortable place or getaway place with family.

Great to be back. Was just as great as the first time. We didn’t chat as much since we were away for events during a good part of the stay, but everything was great and the boys really enjoyed Louie and all the activities! Thank you and see you next time Jodi & Jim & Louie.

We loved staying at Allison & James’s off-grid cabin stay! They were extremely accommodating to our late check in time due to a late flight and communication was easy. The cabin itself is one of a kind and makes for such a unique experience. We took full advantage of everything it has to offer — outdoor cinema + the fire pit + the outdoor soaking tub. Although it’s considered off grid, the cabin didn’t miss a beat. I will say, the ride down to the cabin is a bit steep (due to an unfortunate flash flood years ago), but when staying in a spot like this, you’re signing up for an adventure and it definitely was one riding down the hill in the solar powered golf cart! Overall, we were really pleased with this stay and agreed it was the neatest place we’ve stayed yet! Thank you again Allison and James for your hospitality. Highest recommendation!

This place was AMAZING! My partner and I stayed with our dog and we loved the calmness and peaceful atmosphere. We will definitely be back! Everything was as described and easy to find with locations.

We are so grateful to have been able to stay at Gwynn's place, it is so peaceful and lovely. Like a secret garden getaway. We loved all the small touches, and beauty of the space. Gwynn made us feel very welcome and comfortable! The pool is amazing and the outdoor spaces are delightful. Can't wait to stay here again.

Lynn’s guesthouse is adorable! It’s colorful, clean, and cozy. We were greeted with a handwritten card and a homemade loaf of bread upon arrival. The tea selection was expansive and delicious! We were within a 5 min walking distance from downtown La mesa (the village) and were able to explore the adorable farmer’s market Friday afternoon. The Airbnb and the town were so cute and we enjoyed our time immensely!

We loved our stay. From the beginning, Jessica was very responsive and friendly. The place was exactly as pictured. Jessica put so much thought into the small details that many other places don't think about. There was a pack and play for my almost 2 year old, but what stood out was the memory foam mattress insert and she provided tiny linens, pillow, and blankets. I've stayed at other places where they literally only had the pack and play and that was it. We were told to bring our own linens. My daughter used the toddler cot which also had linens and blankets. My kids loved the playhouses outside. They swept the outside area of any leaves every day. Pretty genius of Jessica to provide kid brooms to help keep her place clean. Now if only I can convince them to clean when we're at home! We would definitely stay again or try the larger main house if we come back.

This was a great house! The kitchen is stocked with the basics plus plenty of coffee, creamer, etc. and a basket of snacks! Water dispenser is also great. Loved everything and would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it! Thank you Bonnie!

It is hard to imagine finding a better place to stay than Irina's home. Irina's place is excellent in every category. The most important category that we care about is that the home is very clean. This place is spotless. Irina is a fantastic host. Always asking if there is anything She could do to make our stay better. We were here for a job and enjoyed how comfortable we were in the house after a long day at work. This place is a winner!!

We had a super time - the house is very clean with generous amenities and lots of towels. Very well Organised and a great location. Lauren our host was very responsive and made recommendations for local places to visit and eat.

my daughter and I stayed at Susie and Britt's poolhouse for 6 nights when we were in the San Diego area for a wedding. At first we thought we would look for a beach rental but then heard that it can be foggy on the coast during May and June and going 5 miles inland can make a big difference with weather. we looked in Rancho Sante Fe because that we where the wedding venue was located and we really hit the jackpot! Everything is just as described- very relaxing times in the jacuzzi and by the fire pit in the evenings. The travel to the surrounding SanDiego sights was super easy. Highly recommend this rental!!!

Stacy is a most excellent host. Her Casita is in a great location in Oceanside and is quiet but full of human life. My wife and I booked this spot as a long weekend beach getaway and we loved our experience. Just minutes from your selection of beaches and a short drive to downtown SD. The amenities are outstanding. There was even a crock pot! We found it very easy to feel at home. Would certainly stay here again and would recommend to anyone staying in the SD area.
