The Sun Mountain Cottage was so cozy, convenient and cute! This is a great location if you’re wanting a mountain view and visiting Garden of The Gods and Pikes Peak. With the chilly nights we got to relax in the hot tub after a day of adventuring, which was the perfect way to vacay! Beth was very responsive and her place was perfect for us:)

Such a great spot! The house was very well put together and instantly put my wife and I in a vacation mode. It was extremely family friendly for our toddler, there were toys, books, and Julia put out a Pack-and-play for us. Very clean and overall great spot!

Green Mountain Falls is a beautiful small town and this spot is right in the middle with a view of the lake and the town center. It’s a spacious top floor unit with a huge balcony and private hot tub. Lots of steps, but a great view. This spot is right in the middle of town and the resort includes other hot tubs and guests. You’ll hear other folks having fun. It’s a fun place! Use the box fans there to drown out the sound. Weeknights it was pretty quiet by 10-11. Our kids slept through everything 🙌

I enjoyed staying at The Cottage. It was quaint and had everything you would need for a stay. The beds and furniture were comfortable, and WiFi was reliable (I was with someone who had to be online everyday). We didn't use the hot tub or grill, but they looked nice. The remote location was a surprise given that it's a 5 minute drive from Manitou. There were other guests in the main cabin but they were friendly when we saw them out walking. We did see a bear trying to get into the dumpster but he was just looking for a snack and didn't pay us any attention. I will recommend this spot to others and would stay again. My only wish for The Cottage was a small fenced in area for the dog on a portion of the patio. Would have been nice for her to enjoy some of that fresh mountain air without having to be on leash the whole time.

Love staying here, and each time it is a great experience. The hot tub is sparkling clean and simply a lovely way to unwind anytime. Inside will not disappointment… comfy and spacious, relaxed and easy. It’s a perfect place to stay solo or share with family and friends. Easy to just hang out, cook a meal or watch the stars through the skylights in the sleeping loft. Rachael and Zach are the kind of people that make you feel welcome and exude a genuine hospitality towards guests and care for their Loft. I appreciate that!!

My fiancé and I stayed here for 5 nights and we loved it. The place was nice, exactly the way it was described. We took advantage of the hot tub and cooked dinner on the deck. The location is perfect beautiful views and the bars and restaurants across the street were amazing!! We would definitely stay here again.

I walked 10 minutes to get to my professional conference at the Broadmoor Hotel. It’s less expensive than the hotel rooms with more freedom and privacy, and with your own hot tub. I walked 15 minutes the other direction to a mountain canyon park, nature station, and a nice trail that follows a stream up the canyon. If you’re not a hiker, take any number of day trips by car to natural beauty and wonders. It’s in a pleasant wooded neighborhood with close neighbors on either side, but it feels very private. It has that rustic arts and crafts mountain cabin feel and is very clean and well maintained. Very comfortable bed. Deer were hanging out in the yard one day.

Our stay at the cottage was a peaceful as you can get. Close to restaurants, and the open space behind the cottage is great for hiking. Lots of memories will remain with us for a long time.

For the price this was so perfect and lovely. If possible we’ll be rebooking.

Such a lovely place. It was cozy, clean, private and I loved all the updated appliances. The ceilings were high enough for a person over 6 foot too!

We’ve stayed here numerous times and intend to do so again in the future. The home meets/exceeds our needs; especially since we bring our dog. We LOVE the location (so close to Garden of the Gods and there is a grocery store nearby)! We have had no issues walking the neighborhood with our dog; even after dark. We enjoy seeing all the deer. The morning of our checkout, we were locked out (glitch with the lock) and Sophie responded as soon as possible to save the day! Thank you!

The place was everything I needed as a solo traveler! There were some weather issues ahead of my visit, but Melanie gave me a heads up so I could be prepared. Had a great time there!

the cabin was so clean and comfortable. the beds were ridiculously comfortable. matt is really responsive and caring. be aware that the driveway is steep and can be icy during the winter months. the rest of the year, it’s fine. i hope i get to stay again someday.

Me and my fiancé stayed the weekend to celebrate 420 and had a blast. Great location to Old Colo City, Pikes Peak, and other things around. I would recommend staying at James’ house.

This a really well-appointed property with a very responsive host, making for a very comfortable and stress-free stay. The outdoor patio area was a big plus! Just perfect for 1-4 people who don't mind sharing a bathroom (door separates toilet/shower from sink area). Great info/instructions on everything in the cottage and local recommendations for hiking and dining. The ice cream shop next door is great as is the deli/sandwich shop across the street. A few other good-looking dining options within walking distance, including a more upscale restaurant. Groceries and liquor store are less than a mile away. Be sure to check out Daryl's artist studio behind the cottage! We will not hesitate to recommend this property to others and to book again if in the area. We loved the easy walk into town and spending some time on the upper deck. Well positioned for enjoying all that the area offers. Bedrooms are spacious. The neighborhood is quiet and safe.

The Retreat at Laurel screams attention to detail! From the impeccable interior design, use of space, quality bed linens, the pristine and well-stocked kitchen, the thoughtful essentials supplied in every room to get guests up and running and the stunning backyard worth lingering in even among the backdrop of the Rockies and the Garden of the gods with endless options to explore! It was the perfect respite place when we’d exhausted ourselves daily on hikes or exploring the area.

I want to tell both everyone, and no one, about this place!!!! Easy entry, super private, perfect size to cozy up and get some writing done, a woodburner that loves to work, zero sound by dark, private spaces to sit outside. , Jelena and Marc were dog accommodating too! Our CO wildlife are up close and personal here, so if your puppers are HONESTLY unfamiliar/trained for it, a helpful tip, you should keep a leash on them in the yard. Nature will happen here, year round! Especially with the mule deer paths in the yard! It's glorious to watch mere feet away. A true gem!

Easy to access, parking was a little tight for our larger vehicle. Nice location.

Wow, it's hard to describe how great staying here was for our family. We stayed for 5 days and the family was very sad when we left. Would come back and stay longer next time! We fished the pond, hammocked, walked the beautiful 15 acre property, and enjoyed nights in with the gas fire place inside. It was pretty cool staying in a fully off-the-grid cabin as well. Great job Chris!
