Monthly Rentals in Edisto River

Laura and Michael were great hosts and super easy to communicate with. The common areas (the downstairs kitchen, laundry room, and living room) were super convenient and easy to use. The upstairs apartment was clean when and tidy when I first checked in and was incredibly welcoming and comfortable.

Mr. Hughe and Mrs. Theresa, thank you eternally for such a great experience at your home! We are eternally grateful for your hospitality. And we will definitely book a stay with you again. Not only was the property exquisite. But oh so peaceful. My wife and I were immersed in the history of the property that Mr. Hughe shared with us. This property is more than the you could ever imagine. And the pictures does not do it justice. We will stay again as often as possible. 5 Stars and above!

Thank you for sharing your unique little slice of the Low Country with us at the “Riverhouse Retreat on the Edisto. This well equipped property has everything you could want, including a wonderful river view, to make for an enjoyable stay. We found, nearby, the Cottageville Good Eats to be a great local restaurant with sandwiches, pizza and a fun Karaoke night. We were left a delicious Quiche, Applesauce Spice Bread and the special treat for our dog. Also, fresh eggs which made for a great breakfast. The hospitality and communication from our host found at “Riverhouse Retreat” will spoil you as it is far above what you will find at most other AirBnB’s.

This property was unusual for us. The first time we stayed in a tree house. The hosts were immediately responsive, on the spot to take care of any issue no matter how small. Because this is a tree house, expect an unusual lay out and several flights of stairs. This property would be perfect for a parent traveling with a child.
