Cosy and modern flat in Merchiston

VikiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Sal's place was perfect for our short holiday. It was excatly like the pictures, very clean and welcome box was a nice touch. Excellent location for the price, you can get to the centre with multiple buses in like 20 minutes. Very quiet area and flexible check in with the lock box. The canal walk is just around the corner which is also lovely. Definitely recommend!

Royal Mile Luxury Apartment

KRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This apartment was the best Airbnb rental I've ever stayed at. It was fully furnished with everything you could dream of - luxury bedding, scrumptious towels, a well-equipped kitchen, etc. It is conveniently located near the Royal Mile which is load with charming stores and wonderful restaurants. Isaac was the perfect host. We arrived at the rental on my birthday and he even bought us a bottle of champagne to celebrate. This is a 5 star accommodation. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Bright 1BD Central City Stay with Historic Twist

LimellRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Location, location, location! Great location! Sweet apartment, well appointed, great communication from host management team. Really enjoyed staying in this apartment. Recommended! The following are my NOTES FOR MOBILITY CHALLENGED INDIVIDUALS like myself. If you have no issue with walking or climbing stairs you can ignore the following comments. Also, my comments on mobility challenges do not change my rating of this place at all. I was thrilled to stay here. 1) Entry to the flat building is flat and easy. 2) Then you have 19 stairs to get up before you reach the flat door, and another 2 stairs after you enter the flat. There is handrail for most of the bigger staircase except for the last few steps. There are places you can grab onto to make the final steps. There are no handrails for the 2 steps inside the apartment. 3) The shower is awesome! No steps, handheld wand in addition to shower head mounted in the ceiling. No grab bar in the shower.

Premier City Centre Location - Bright & Spacious

VincentRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This place was really nice and is in a fantastic location close to all the main attractions. It was clean and had everything we needed. They had some very nice extras that made the stay more comfortable. We used our phone’s noise maker to help drown out some of the downtown noises. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Stunning New Town Apartment

DanielRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This spotless apartment breathes the style and history of Edinburgh. Leo's Beanery, a fantastic breakfast place, is just around the corner. Shops, restaurants and the city center are within walking distance. Jennifer is an utterly friendly host. I especially appreciated the flexibility around checkin and checkout hours. A home away from home to come back to for sure.

Modern apartment overlooking Edinburgh Castle

PragyaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb during our trip to Edinburgh with my parents. The location was excellent—central, safe, and within easy reach of key attractions, public transport, and some great cafes. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made check-in and any small questions really easy to handle. It was a comfortable space for all of us, and we appreciated the quiet surroundings at night. Overall, a great experience—we’d definitely recommend it to others traveling with family!

Entire flat in central Stockbridge

MarcRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I arrived at the flat after 10pm and so was especially grateful for crystal clear and easy instructions for access. The stairs are a bit of a hike for anyone not used to living in a walk up, but I’m a not especially athletic 66 and was fine even with my carry-on suitcase & large backpack. The place gets 5 stars from me for the super-responsive, pleasant, and helpful host and the lovely residential but fun neighborhood, perfect for the working traveller who prefers local charm. Breakfast at Romina & a leisurely cappuccino with my iPad at Books ‘n Cups was the ideal way to start a day when I did not have to be anywhere until late morning. I made a venison steak for dinner just so I could feel a little local by patronizing the charming butcher shop around the coroner from the flat. A couple of local bars (side by side) stay open until “late.” There’s a range of ethnic & other restaurants, & several book shops, including Rare Birds, which specializes in women authors (get the name?).

Luxury spacious apartment in Edinburgh city

AndreaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was a lovely stay. Our host was thoughtful in setting up the space and added little things that made our trip easy like laundry soap, fresh ground coffee, large towels set out in each guest room. It was definitely luxury and we felt very welcome in her home. Just far enough away to be quiet and spacious while still making the city accessible we walked everywhere except dinner out one evening.

Idyll To Chill Beneath the Crags!

ChloeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We absolutely loved staying here on our first trip to Edinburgh! It was stocked with everything we could ever even think of needing. The location is amazing - only a 5 minute walk and we were in the Royal Mile, and less than 10 minutes to the Palace of Holyrood House! The view the of Salisbury Crags from the apartment alone is worth every penny. Absolutely STUNNING! Jonathan was the most amazing and accommodating host. He made our check in and check out process so easy, explained everything we needed to know in detail and was very friendly and welcoming. Would absolutely stay with him here again next time I visit Edinburgh!

Spectacular Studio hideaway in City Centre

PuskarRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The place is walkable distance to great bars and the botanical garden. Close to the bus stop as well that takes you to the royal mile in 15mins. The place has all the listed amenities. You can hear the noise in the hallway and front door banging. I would've liked an airtight door to create some soundproofing. The upstairs neighbor noise wasn't a big problem for me. The place was clean and kitchen was fully stocked!

Hanna has a beautiful appartment ideally situated to go around Edinburgh without being in the busy parts of town. It is well stocked and very confortable for a short stay in the city for a person alone or a small group of people (we were three). Hanna is a very responsive host that answers quickly. I highly recommend staying with her!

city, sea & beach at your door:dbl/private bathrm

ThijsRating, 5 stars6 months ago
I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!

Spacious 4 bedroom house with sea views, Pitmilly

DorothyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had a brilliant weekend in this lovely accommodation with great facilities. As a family group, including 3 teenagers and a disabled grandad, the accommodation was ideal with a lovely large open planned kitchen/dining/living area, four big ensuite bedrooms (one on the ground floor) and a separate bathroom. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and the large fridge freezer would easily have coped with supplies for a longer stay. The upstairs bedrooms had a luxurious feeling to them. The beds were all very comfortable and the ensuites were well fitted out with good walk in shower cubicles. The downstairs bedroom was smaller but still a good size. The shower had a high threshold for anyone with mobility problems but non- slip bath mats and suction handrails were supplied as soon as we mentioned disability. A shower stool would have been a welcome addition. There was plenty to occupy us without leaving the complex. We enjoyed making use of the sports facilities and the walks.
