Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Edinburgh Old Town

Erguns place is very modern and updated. Ergun was very responsive and a great host. Would highly recommend you stay here. Close to the royal mile but far enough away you don’t get all of the tourists. I would absolutely stay here again.

The perfect place to stay when visiting Edinburgh! Easy to walk to shops and restaurants and the castle! It should be noted that you do have to climb to flights of spiral stairs to get to the apartment. So I would not recommend booking this Airbnb if you have troubles getting up steps. Other than that I highly recommend!

A fantastic location, right in the heart of the Grassmarket area. This flat is roomy and comfortable with a very modern (and well equipped) kitchen and bathroom. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Emma’s Airbnb is excellent and I would stay there again without hesitation. Emma was friendly, welcoming and very responsive. The flat is in a quiet, safe area of town but only a short walk (3 blocks) to the center of the Royal mile. Check in was easy and flexible. We arrived late and Emma left recommendations for a friendly pub, Holyrood 9A, a block from the flat that served late dinner. The flat was very comfortable and well equipped. The 2 bedrooms were perfect for our group of 3 adults. The beds were very comfortable. Emma even provided different types of pillows to make sleeping comfortable. The living room has 2 comfortable sofas. The TV has local channels and streaming services available. We brought laundry detergent pods with us to use the combo washer/dryer. UK dryers aren’t as fast as the separate dryer we have in the US so we washed clothes in the evening and hung them to dry overnight which worked well. Overall, Emma’s place worked perfectly for our visit to Edinburgh.

Dawn’s flat was perfect for our four night stay! Really well situated, with lots of shops and cafes in walking distance. The flat is well equipped with everything you need and was immaculate on arrival.

Maureen was helpful even before we traveled, with helpful advice on getting around and to and from the airport and train station. When we walked into the flat we were surprised with fresh flowers in the dinette and bathroom as well as fresh fruit, tea & coffee & milk. We arrived in Edinburgh hours before check-in and Maureen met us to work out where we could leave our luggage so we could enjoy some time in the city without lugging it around! SUPERHOST for sure.

Catherine and Craig were very helpful in accommodating us when we made a last minute booking, communicating clearly throughout and making sure things were set up for our toddler to take a nap on arrival. The location is perfect - close to everything yet the street is quiet enough to not be overwhelmed. They offered great suggestions including a weekly market we went to.

Emma's flat in the city is wonderful!! It is everything we needed for four people, and was in a great location right out of the way of the hussle and bustle of the main street but still very centrally located. Emma was super responsive and helpful both in the booking process and in answering inquiries/assisting during our stay. I would absolutely come back here, thank you Emma!

My friends and I enjoyed a great stay at Di’s place. She was an excellent host - from booking through to check out - and offers a very well equipped, spotlessly clean and spacious place to stay in a lovely part of Edinburgh. The beds are comfy, the decor is tasteful and lighting has been well thought-out. And there’s a lovely garden too. We found it a very pleasant and peaceful place to return to after exploring Edinburgh. There are great restaurants, coffee shops and shops a couple of minutes walk away - and it is a nice walk into the centre of the city and out to Arthur’s Seat. I highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future. Thank you Di!

A home away from home ❤️ The house was lovely, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. I was travelling with parents and a small child - so split levels meant everyone could have their own space and a big communal area on the ground floor which was perfect for us all. Location was great. A short cab ride into town, but walkable too. Close by to Arthur’s Seat, which is a must to do while in Edinburgh. Karen and Carina are amazing hosts, very responsive and went above and beyond for us. Would highly recommend! Thank you.

What a beautiful house in stunning surroundings! We were a family of 5 celebrating my mum’s 75th birthday. Upon hearing this the hosts informed us of the stairs in the house in case there were mobility issues, which is very thoughtful. The tranquility of having a stream running by the end of the garden added to the charm. Within walking distance is a small Tesco that we were able to get supplies, and although we didn’t visit them, the local restaurants looked nice. We were met at the house by Kenneth who gave us a tour of the house and was very helpful. The extras provided in the fridge by the hosts was a very thoughtful touch. Overall, a suburb place to spend some time! Thanks for everything and for letting us feel at home in your beautiful home!

Truly spectacular view in a wonderful setting. Gorgeous property that is obviously a project that is well loved. We would welcome the opportunity to stay here again.

Jamie was an excellent host. The place is fantastic.

The location was perfect. It was in the less crowded west end area and less than a block to the bus stop (which we highly recommend figuring out the system so you can get around quicker). However, you can also walk to old town in 15-20 minutes time. There are many good restaurants and groceries within walking distance. The attached garage was an awesome perk since this was a stop for us in our long road trip.

Great location, clean and good information was provided by our hosts. I would definitely stay here again.

This, by far, is the best stay I have visited. Marie is the perfect host, communicated in an exceptional manner, and provided the loveliest place to centre our stay in Edinburgh. From check in to check out, I felt welcome, comfortable, and well situated. Buses were frequent to go anywhere we needed and the accommodation was a welcome resting place after a long day of exploring. I have stayed many places but Marie's provided both the necessities and little extras that made this a fondly remembered experience rather than just a place to lay my head. I recommend this to anyone who wishes to visit and will be recommending it to family and friends who wish to visit in the future.

If I could give this flat 5++++ stars I would. It is so welcoming. There is more space than you’d think from the photos and a great cozy feeling to it. Comfortable bed, great shower , excellent kitchen and the best views of the castle. The welcome from Joe, Richard and Nadia was amazing. They generously left us with whiskey, biscuits, coffee and a lovely bath pack. The flat is superbly located on the border of the old and new ( ish) parts of Edinburgh. It’s easy to walk to the Royal Mile or in the opposite direction to Denés Village. There are many restaurants nearby and a very handy M&S food hall down the street. The bus to the airport stops across the road and Waverley Station is a 10 minute walk. Brilliant. We loved our stay, couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Fiona’s place was great, super convenient for the city centre! Only a 10 min walk either through the park or around the streets to the Royal Mile. Lots of buses to take you into the centre too with a very handy bus app called Edinbus. The apartment was clean, homely and perfect for me and my mum. The sofa bed was very comfy! All the amenities that you could need. Fiona was responsive and informative. She was very lovely and gave a very detailed explanation on how to find the apartment upon check in.

We had a lovely time at Sharon's place. It was clean and bright and suited our two couples nicely. It was walking distance to the royal mile in a quiet neighborhood. I would recommend Sharon's place to my friends!

Amazing stay in a great location! The flat had everything you needed, was easy to access and a super homely vibe!

We loved staying at this well equipped , spacious Airbnb apartment. Jane responded to all of our inquiries prior to our trip. It had everything we needed, including ample products for the shower, tea, coffee, laundry soap and we even found universal plugs in the bedside table. The ceilings are quite high so it can take awhile to get warm, and we rented in June. The seats in the sitting room are low to the ground and deep. However, there are a lot of pillows that made it possible for us to sit comfortably. The bed is king size (by US standards) and quite comfortable. I rented this place because of the view of the castle which unfortunately was obscured by trees. The picture posted of the castle view was in the winter and the trees had no leaves. Even without the full view of the castle, this was a well located apartment. It was close to the local buses, the hop on hop off buses, lots of restaurants, and small local shops for essential items. We really enjoyed our stay.

This place far exceeded our expectations!!! One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed out. The comfort of the home is amazing and the decor is fun yet homie, yet the architecture was left to amaze and was well preserved. Felt like home right away. The location was great and was an easy walk to the Royal mile and everything else nearby. If returning to Edinburgh I’m booking here again.

The place is very easy to access via tram. It is clean and has all the amenities that you require.
