Holiday rentals with breakfast in Edinburgh Old Town

Ruth house is great. Lovely garden and spacious rooms. We spent a week there, we are a couple with a 3yo girl and we recommend this house for families. It is clean with many useful things in the house because it is a "real home". Quite a few of buses around just walking 5 minutes. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay at this bnb. A really warm, welcoming couple who shared their home with us. We had some lovely conversations and they provided good information re local transport. Breakfast was cooked and served, which was a bonus and a very nice addition. The house was very close to a bus stop to both the city and the airport. Fond memories thank you!

This, by far, is the best stay I have visited. Marie is the perfect host, communicated in an exceptional manner, and provided the loveliest place to centre our stay in Edinburgh. From check in to check out, I felt welcome, comfortable, and well situated. Buses were frequent to go anywhere we needed and the accommodation was a welcome resting place after a long day of exploring. I have stayed many places but Marie's provided both the necessities and little extras that made this a fondly remembered experience rather than just a place to lay my head. I recommend this to anyone who wishes to visit and will be recommending it to family and friends who wish to visit in the future.

Casa molto pulita, spaziosa e accogliente. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, molto gradito il cibo trovato in casa e la gentilezza e disponibilità dell'host. Posizione un po' lontana dal centro ma con Uber rimane comunque una soluzione comoda. In generale consigliato!

I only stayed with Sheila for one night but she was incredibly friendly and welcoming. There is a hill near her place with an amazing view of Edinburgh - the perfect end to my trip!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Jim empfangenen und das Zimmer ist sehr schön und hell. Im Zimmer findet man viele Tipps für Edinburgh und Umgebung und sogar eine hilfreiche, kleine Einführung, wenn man mit dem Bus ins Zentrum fahren möchte. Das Continental - Frühstück war sehr liebevoll angerichtet und völlig ausreichend und wir hatten den besten Kaffee auf der ganzen Reise. ; ) Wir fanden es auch sehr schön, dass die Unterkunft etwas außerhalb lag, so konnte man sich dem Trubel der Stadt entziehen. Wir würden diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

We stayed at 63 Moubray Grove, South Queensferry for a Buissines trip and found the property well presented clean and tidy with all the modern amenities you could wish for in a quiet residential area. The property is easy to get to with local shops very close by also Dalmeny train station within an easy walk away. Nicky was extremely helpful and quick, easy communication.

Getting the key was easy and a little fun, kind of like a scavenger hunt! Glad the flat had an elevator. We came in around 6:30pm and planned on leaving early the next morning for the airport. We let Javier now our plans and he even had the living room couch already pulled out for us (quick turnaround). Super thoughtful! The kitchen is fairly big (for such a cozy little apartment) and was stocked well and had some simple breakfast items. And if you want more food, a HUGE grocery store is right outside your window. It’s cozy, rooms are fairly small but it had everything we needed. You could easily walk to public transit but because we came from the train station and were going to the airport with larger suitcases, we opted for Ubers. It was about 30ish pounds for both rides.

This was a great place to stay to explore Old Town! You’re in the college-y area, lots of people walking around, easy to follow directions. It was a great home base, very comfy as well.

The apartment is in the town centre, a very good and convenient location. The owner kept the apartment very clean and provided more than enough household supplies. We enjoyed staying there. Thank you!

Can’t recommend this place enough, fantastic location with great views, lovely hosts and clean & tidy apartment. Easy access to Edinburgh and the airport, when I arrived I got a Taxi from the airport, if I’d have known how simple the tram/bus journey would have been I’d have done that, I did for my return journey. Local restaurants are lovely and welcoming (Saphire & Queens Spice), good pint in the Thirty Knots too! I arrived late in the day, to be welcome with bread and milk amongst other things was just wonderful, simple touch which went a long way! I would definitely return and recommend this to anyone looking Thank you to the host(s)

Zeer tevreden. De communicatie verliep enorm vlot, de accommodatie was zeer proper. Geschikt voor 2 koppels of een gezin van 4. Het stadscentrum was ook op 20 minuten wandelen wat voor ons perfect was.

Nous avons passé 2 uits chez Jennet. Jennet est une hôte très sympathique et sa maison est très charmante. Le centre-ville est accessible à pies en 15 minutes en traversant un grand parc (idéal pour les chiens). Le petit déjeuner était très bon avec des produits faits maison. Grâce aux instructions de Jennet, nous avons pu garer la voiture gratuitement à environ 10 minutes à pieds.

I was looking for a few days in a home and I absolutely found that. Judy and her husband are warm and welcoming and the upstairs space is very sweet and comfortable. I especially liked the view of Arthur's Seat, the big bed, open windows, and thoughtfully stocked fridge. It is very easy to catch a bus to/from the Old Town but I also enjoyed walking through the neighborhood and The Meadows. Thank you, Judy!

Une chambre très intime et privée, avec salle de bain complète. De très généreux petits déjeuners, renouvelés à chaque jour dans la chambre. Une hôte accueillante et très sympathique. Facilement accessible du centre-ville. Tranquille, propre, un des meilleurs Airbnb que j’ai loués depuis longtemps. Je recommande vivement!

The hosts have a very welcoming vibes. They are respectful and always ready to give a helping hand and very considerate in everything. The place feels like home and the ambiance was peaceful, calm and relaxing. We will absolutely recommend staying in Sinan’s place.

Wow! What a fabulous place to stay! Daniela was an excellent, welcoming host. The room was very comfortable and tastefully furnished. The property was close proximity to Edinburgh Airport and located in beautiful surroundings on the golf course. It was easy to get to Edinburgh and I enjoyed staying outside of the city. I highly recommend and will stay again, for sure!

It was an absolute pleasure staying with Jo who was a most welcoming, friendly and polite host. Everything was super, especially the standard of cleanliness and breakfast items available. A highly recommended stay.
