Jennifer’s place Derwent House East Wing is the perfect location if you want a peaceful and charming stay. More than you could wish for a quiet area with some restaurants and convenience store a very short walk away and a short drive to the coast and more beautiful surroundings. The bed was super comfy and the lounge just delightful. The added bonus of some walks from the back garden gate too. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again.

As somebody who born and raised in Scarborough but was just visiting for the weekend from our home in The Midlands, staying here was an absolute treat. I used to play around Ayton Castle as a child and my friend lived on Mill Lane. Staying here was like coming home. The cottage itself is lovely and exactly as described. We were greeted by the smell of wisteria on the breeze and relaxed watching the rabbits graze in the field. The accommodation is well equipped and the beds are comfy and snugly. The central heating is great and warms the place in seconds. All in all we had a fantastic stay whilst back home visiting family. The cottage is perfect and the surroundings serene. P.s the local chippy is fantastic (tho I should admit my niece does work there)

The Croft was a a peaceful & private cottage to stay in. Handy to the chippy, small supermarket & pub. Thankyou Mike.

The cottage is set back from the main road in the grounds of the owners main house. The property is a really good size, very deceptive. To access the rear cottage style patio is through the main bedroom. With views over the owners amazing garden at the back. Felt like a peek into the Chelsea flower show, garden envy ! The owners provide everything needed. Games for kids, kitchen amenities... etc Only a very brief visit, but had a lovely stay here.
