Just had an incredible weekend break at Jenny's gorgeous accommodation. I have seen other reviews saying that the photos and description doesn't do this place justice and I totally agree. The lodge had everything we needed, was perfectly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The views from the balcony are breathtaking!! The location is so picturesque, peaceful and clean and extremely close to Keswick. We took full advantage of the gym, swimming pool, sauna and hot tub, which was a brilliant way to start/finish the day. Also highly recommend the White Horse pub, where I have eaten the best chicken burger ever! Jenny, thank you for the kind and thoughtful treats. We highly recommend your place to anyone!! xxx

We booked this accom very last minute(3hrs before we checked in), and turned out to be a great choice. Having never heard of Whitbarrow Village we did not know what to expect and was very pleased to find this apartment was part of a larger holiday village complex. The apartment was very well kitted out and had all mod cons you would want, some cleaning products and tea/coffee bits,plus a nice outdoor seating area and close access to the pool and games areas. The main reception building was very clean and the pool facilities were fantastic as well as the kids games area & cinema room (9yr old with us). Only a 15 min drive to Keswick or Penrith made it a great location just off the A66 but so peaceful & quiet. Friendly on-site staff and well maintained garden areas. Overall a great little find and will definetly stay at Whitbarrow Village again.

Perfect setting for pristine accommodation. The 'container' lodge was impeccably clean, very fresh looking with a cozy but modern vibe to it. Living area sliding doors are a nice touch, well equipped kitchen and all necessary utensils available. Another nice touch was how good the shower was ! The simple things in life ! Hot tub and fire pit area well thought out for both privacy and protection from wind on breezy nights, and like the inside of the lodge also impeccably clean. Highly recommend for escaping from the world for a few days, and will certainly look to book again . Every part hassle free and communication of instructions & help couldnt have been better. A well deserved 10/10

What a truly wonderful little place, there is so much to do for the kids and my two really did enjoy it! The apartment was absolutely stunning, spotless and also very spacious. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to book a trip away to the lakes be it with children or without. We will definitely be coming back!

What a beautiful place to stay! Thank you Jerry for having such a well maintained apartment - including a full kitchen so we could self cater. The whole place was also so snug and cosy and the bed was super comfy. Perfect place to just relax after a full day exploring! Fab location with stunning views overlooking fells - quiet area, barely knew others were about. Apartment well looked after, clean and tidy. Bonus having access to the gym, sauna & spa. We had an absolutely wonderful stay on the edge of Cockermouth. The location could not be more perfect to explore all the lakes have to offer, with the convenience of parking / walks from the doorstep and the beauty and calmness of being based just outside of the hustle of Cockermouth. The property exceeded our expectations, being tastefully decorated, in immaculate condition and with loads of extra little details that made the stay comfortable and relaxing. We stayed with my parents and 1 year old and they really catered to our needs with a highchair / cot etc., whilst still being a luxury property with comfy beds, fluffy towels and all the kitchen amenities you could ask for. We had such a wonderful time, we have already enquired again for next year. Our hosts could not have been more responsive, accommodating and helpful in providing local suggestions for restaurants and walks etc. We would highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed!

Two words to describe Bonshaw Grange - "Flawless" and "Perfection." This is no ordinary stay, this is a unique experience that transports you to a magical place. Everything was perfect from start to finish. John was incredible from start to finish, with all the comms, responsive to messages, accomodated all requests. Went above and Beyond, and really contributed to making a 40th Birthday weekend celebration so very special. Everyone was blown away by the house, the gardens, the decor, the facilities - all truly luxe with no expense spared. The love, care and attention to every single detail is evident. I really congratulate John and Dan for creating such an amazing and beautiful space. I want to gatekeep this beautiful place but have already told so many friends & family. The children did not want to leave and already discussing our return and when we can book again and for longer! Truly Outstanding! Thank you so much for Everything!

The house and grounds are spectacular- with amazing views across the Irish Sea to Cumbria and the Isle of Man. Amazing array of wildlife within the grounds- red squirrels, hares, roe deer, red kites all frequently sighted. The house is so comfortable and very tastefully decorated with very high quality fixtures and fittings. The surrounding area is very beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. One of the very best AirB&Bs we have stayed in, highly recommended.

Very well presented cottage, very clean, decorated with some nice touches proximity to the town perfect and also as a base to travel further around the area. Being next to the river another bonus nothing like having our breakfast and watching a local heron do the same in the river!

A beautifully well kept and presented large home from home. Well laid out with fully equipped kitchen. If you can’t find something, keep looking as the kitchen has everything. Large family bathroom with all rooms well proportioned. Amazing hosts who can’t do enough to make you feel welcome and ease you in to their property.

Lovely home and well represented by photos. We loved the decor! Beds were all very comfy. Open plan living area is great. Outside space is super too if you have good weather and time to use it. Location is close to Ullswater by car - we went on boat trip on lake in the sunshine which was super and Penrith has good selection of supermarkets for supplies. We had a super few days. All too short!

Colin contacted us prior to our stay to give us accurate details of where to go, and what to do. He gave us his contact number incase there was any issues, and told us to contact him anytime. His apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the photos do not do it justice.. and the views from the balcony were 100%. The location was perfect for what we was looking for. We would highly recommend ,and definitely stay there again.😊

Beautifully appointed room and extremely comfortable bed. Shower was a tight fit for a front row forward but manageable.

The loft apartment at Bowness House Farm exceeded our expectations- in fact the whole courtyard complex did. The apartment was beautifully styled and thought through with an excellent kitchen area, spacious en-suite, very comfortable sitting area and bed. We loved the details and finish- in fact I wish we’d been staying for a week rather than one night. Michelle, the manager, was welcoming and helpful. She also cooked our delicious breakfast this morning. The restaurant is full of warmth and character and we loved the inspirational sayings from 20th century icons ( including Nelson Mandela, Bob Marley and Stephen Hawking), the sparkling lights and the general ambience. We also throughly enjoyed our evening meal there. This was such a beautiful place I’d cycle the 150 miles back just to stay again !
