Holiday rentals with an EV charger in Scotland

Hazel was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The apartment was so well presented, clean and stylish and was very private. It felt luxurious with beautiful scents, gorgeous bedding and furnishings. The area felt safe and was about a 35minute walk to the city centre and attractions. We were able to park our car in the driveway for the stay which was so convenient. We would definitely stay again if we return to Edinburgh in the future.

We had another highly enjoyable weekend at Swallows Nest, our 2nd short stay at this very peaceful and comfortable property. A home from home, in very beautiful and special surroundings. Already arranging our 3rd visit … :) Highly recommend for a family or couple. Thank you both!

I absolutely loved my day at Simon's place. The location is stunning, especially with the bay windows looking out to the sea. The little café down the road was wonderful and it was so nice arriving to some local coffee and a packet of shortbread! Simon was very helpful and accommodating, especially when my husband and child decided to join me for the end of my trip. He happily provided more linens, and even let me charge my electric car using his port. He also offered use of his BBQ and left us coals to use while he was away. You couldn't ask for more! The location was perfect for a relaxing day, and lots of beautiful walks. I also managed to get a bit of work done too! I will certainly be booking again, Both for myself and for some family.

this was a fabulous place to stay. nothing tomuch trouble, even the EV Charger was good and easy to use. everything was all st up and clean. was very good value for money. a few extras were well appreciated (milk, soap, shampoo etc.) oh and biscuit with a cuppa when we arrived was well appreciated and a big Thankyou.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at Sleepy Hollow while in town for a friend’s wedding. Ron and Iris were fantastic hosts, so kind, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend it to others!

Everything about our stay in the boys dormitory was superb. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay in such a unique accommodation especially with all of the access to the abbeys modern facilities was a huge bonus. Me and my wife couldn’t get enough of the lake views from our sitting room.

Lovely private spotless apartment with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Situated in beautiful, safe surroundings- excellent pub at the end of the street and delicious fish & chip shop too. We will definitely visit again if there is availability. Thank you.

Fantastic hosts with a great welcome, fresh flowers everywhere and a visit from Sara to see if we were OK. The house is amazing with so many great features but the views of the Summer Isles and beyond are simply stunning. Very comfortable house with everything you need.

Where do I begin? The scenic views, the beautiful home, the attention to detail paid with furnishings and amenities, the chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting for us upon our arrival, or just how nice and friendly Paul and Sally are! The Dark Cottage is hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. We felt right at home and were so sad to leave. The location may seem remote to some, but it is definitely worth it for the beautiful views and peacefulness. The sheep grazing all over the island is an added bonus! Sally is an artist and has some of her artwork displayed in the home and some for sale. We bought a piece to bring home with us! We will never forget our time at The Dark Cottage!

Had an amazing stay at Seaview. Property was so clean and well laid out. Nice modern kitchen and shower room. Great garden for us and the dogs and the views are stunning. Such a great base and within a few seconds walk of the 2 best pubs in the village along with all the local shops so close by. Would strongly recommend John’s house. We had a fantastic time.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Map Shop a property full of character and every need catered for. It was perfect as our final stay whilst walking the Cumbria Way. Just lovely, thank you.

Beautiful setting! Just what we wanted for exploring and relaxing on Skye. Peaceful and quiet. Much to do nearby and epic scenery all around. No food stores except co-op in Portree, guests be sure to stock up in larger town before heading out. Farm fresh eggs available to buy from neighbors. Excellent Stein Inn Pub is close by and has exceptional food. Overall the location exceeded our expectations by far. We are hikers and truly enjoyed the trail to Waternish Lighthouse featuring local sheep, cows and a treat to view the selkies in the cove under the lighthouse. The property itself was lovely, clean and well-maintained inside and out. We highly recommend this property. Especially if your first time to Isle of Skye. Hosts made everything SO easy, too!

Beautiful house with stunning surroundings. Easy to walk everywhere. To the brewery, ti rhe local shop and pub and to the boat tha cross to Skye. I have felt at home. Murdoch was very communicative and wanted to make sure we have all the amenities we needed. I cannot fault our stay.

George was an excellent host, providing a warm welcome and great communication in advance of our visit. This is a wonderful house in a beautiful location, and perfect for groups of all ages. Plenty of bathrooms and rooms for relaxing. We enjoyed a week here in mid-June. There were nine adults at one stage, and there was space for us all. I highly recommend Zippity-do-da to anyone visiting this part of Scotland.

Amazing stay for birthday with friends. Best Airbnb I have stayed at and best hosts by far! Great peaceful weekend in the country and nothing was a problem even when we decided to add a few of the extras during our stay the guys sorted it with a quick message. Can’t wait to get back and stay again.

While at an event in North Berwick this flat was as great base for us. Nice beds, great sleep, decent kitchen and loads of space for four of us.

We had an a wonderful stay. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was perfect—quiet and very peaceful but still close to local attractions/restaurants/supermarkets. The private walled garden was great and very much enjoyed by our dog. Elizabeth was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, providing clear instructions and helpful local tips. It really felt like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The place was so nice that we wanted to stay longer. The location, the views, close to great restaurants, everything was as promised. The Abbey was within walkable distance and the cliffs were just a short drive. Very clean and had everything we needed & more. Made me smile when I saw the Bibles in the drawer. Fond memories of long ago when you stayed somewhere on family vacations & you could alway's find a Bible in the drawer. Thank you for your hospitality.

We had an incredible 3 night stay at Skyfall. One of our favourite places we’ve ever stayed! Spotlessly clean rooms with an amazing view. A lot of effort was made to make our stay feel extra special. It was the perfect birthday getaway and the hosts were very kind and welcoming from the minute we arrived. This makes a huge difference compared to the standard ‘self check-in’ experience that a lot of places offer. Wonderful place, so peaceful and fantastic large garden to wander in. Great hosts who were lovely and helpful. Lots of thoughtful touches in the flat that made it really welcoming and special.

Small haven of peace in Corpach, beach and Caledonian canal accessible on foot. The place exceeded our expectations! Spacious, quality furniture, small hill-facing garden that made us feel like we were in the middle of the forest! We enjoyed the company of the birds as well as Richard's availability. The plus: a basket filled with lots of good things and games for the children, we were very well received 😊

We really enjoyed our stay here at Whitbarrow. The apartment was lovely, with the special addition of the balcony overlooking the beautiful views, which we enjoyed with a cuppa or two. Our boys loved the toys and the drawing that was available to play with but, of course, their highlight was the pool. Local distance to Lowther, buttermere, Penrith, pooley Bridge, Keswick etc so lots to do. We’ll be back soon! 🙂

Spotlessly clean, incredible location, friendly host, just a good comfy wee flat for a few days away. Perfect!
