Holiday rentals with beach access in Douglas

Mike was an amazing host ! He was extremely accommodating from beginning to end. He let us check in early and also check out later since we had a late flight back home. He recommended AMAZING restaurants & activities for us to do. He directed us to a beautiful beach with crystal clear waters & Amazing local food spots . We really wanted to experience & explore Barbados and he was very helpful. We really felt at home & it felt as if we were staying over with family. His wife was very sweet and their home is just stunning! A plus is their Airbnb has a beautiful view & their neighbors have two beautiful horses I enjoyed drinking my morning coffee & taking in the view. Mikes place exceeded our expectations & would say you will not regret booking with him. We were on the fence of booking Airbnb or a hotel and I am so GLAD we went with mikes place. Thank you Mike and Natalie, we miss you already!

Had the most amazing time at this gorgeous location. The apt is just as seen in the photos if not more beautiful. The space is clean & well equipped with everything you’ll need for wonderful time away from home. Housekeeping comes in mid week to tidy things up & there’s a great property manager & concierge who are readily available to assist you with anything additional help you may need - directions, restaurant, grocery shopping recommendations etc. Additionally this is a secured property with 24 hrs security to get through the gate. Although Barbados is relatively safe overall this was an extra layer of comfort. You also have access to a great beach from within the property (you’ll need your keys for the gate) there are free chairs & umbrellas as well. Many thanks to Chantelle, Becky & Akiel, we had the best vacation!!!

Excellent 2 week stay at this amazing apartment. It has everything you need and more. Spacious fully equipped, air conditioned apartment. We loved the private pool and garden. Was wonderful to sit on the terrace and were lucky enough to be visited by the monkeys. And Mullins beach is only two minutes down the steps. We went there a lot. Also so handy to have a shower at the gate to the complex when coming back from the beach. Would recommend Adrian's Bar if you like a more authentic Caribbean bar. Loved the area as it was more closer to what we like about the Carribbean. Some of Barbados is a bit too developed with high end restaurants and hotels. Unlike our previous experience in the region in Guadeloupe and Martinique. We bypassed the overpriced places and went to Bomba's restaurant with a view that is hard to beat. Also Caboose beach bar in Speightstown has great Fish cutters. The Jamaican Jerk place is also brilliant. Overall a fabulous apartment in a great location

The apartment was amazing! The perfect location, and right on the beach front with beautiful views. It was very quiet and felt like a private beach, with sunbeds and umbrellas. Perfect for a day of relaxation and sunbathing. It was very easy to get around, the apartment was very close to Holetown so we could visit lots of restaurants and go shopping. The hosts were easy to contact and really helpful when we had questions, even ahead of our stay. I would definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Barbados, it felt like our home away from home.

We loved this tastefully decorated and restful Villa and have already booked it for next year. Chanel and her team were so helpful, proactive and caring. She even came to our rescue when our flight was cancelled and we needed to extend the stay. Pool was lovely and quiet and the people we met around Schooner Bay were very friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

Eldawna is a very responsive host, the environment and apartment is squeaky clean. Overall, it was great place to live in.

My best friend and I had a wonderful stay here. The condo is beautiful and has an amazing view from the balcony. The amenities were a nice touch. We enjoyed the lounge chairs and the bottom pool. Our view was so amazing that we didn't make it up to the rooftop. Additionally, the hospitality from beginning to end was unmatched. Leon and Diana were the best and truly enhanced the experience.

My wife and I, including our kids aged 6 and 3 really enjoyed our time at Monkey Corner (we did spot some monkeys as well!) - the tennis courts, pool house, club house and gym are all within walking distance. Our host, Brigitte, was very responsive throughout and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay - especially the day we arrived - saved us a couple of errands with the kids. The Villa was clean and modern with lots of seating around the place - our kids easily navigated the villa without us - we will stay again!

We had a very lovely stay at Beach Walk house located in a quiet neighborhood only a minute walk to a beautiful and clean beach with bar, sunbeds and family-friendly vibe. The house was very well equipped with everything necessary for a pleasant stay. Other nice beaches, restaurants, shops even a market are all within a 10minute drive from the house. Daniel and Katie were great hosts, flexible with both our check-in and check-out, willing to help anytime we needed. We would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

Our hosts picked us up from the airport and we were immediately charmed by their warmth which made us feel like family. They even took us shopping for any necessities that we might need. Once we arrived at the home, we fell in love with the place. Not only was the décor lovely, but being a bit of a clean freak... I was very happy to find the home so incredibly clean. Amenities were perfect.. with the hosts thinking of just about everything we would need for our stay. The location was perfect for us, since we rented a car. Driving was a bit of a challenge though..at first.. lol. Beds were super comfortable.. and both room had its own washroom.. which was ideal for us. I cannot say enough of how lovely these hosts were to us. Took us back to the airport for our departure and made sure us and all our luggage were checked in safely. Stayed for 10 days and highly recommend this home and hosts. The only note is that you will need a car to get around.. but hosts have recommendations.

Very good position across from a beautiful beach. Sun loungers provided to take with us and beach towels. Donna is lovely and communication was easy. The garage nearby was reasonably priced for essentials. I would recommend CCs on a Monday night, lovely food and good entertainment, we danced on the beach! A trip to Speightstown is also a must do ..try Kaboose for a fish cutter lunch.

Turtle Reef has been my lengthy stay in Barbados for many years. We refer to it as our home from home. The decor is totally my taste and is totally conducive to why it suits myself and my special needs daughter. John and Shirley are the perfect hosts.

From the day we booked, all seemed very easy, which is what you want. Great communication throughout stay, and everything we needed for our stay for the week👍👍

Nice, clean and cozy Beach house with private beach access and a terrace 10m away from the water. Had nice evening dinners outside enjoying the atmosphere. Bathroom and kitchen were well equipped as well as the living room, AC everywhere and a good amount of towels. Mary offered a good service including a welcome food package, recommendations for the island and help with a rental car. Tremain got us a really nice car for a reasonable price.

I had an amazing experience with Reydon as my host. From start to finish, he was truly exceptional. Not only did he graciously allow me to stay in his beautiful property, but he also went above and beyond by assisting us with booking excursions, cabs, a massage therapist, decorator, and chef. Throughout the trip, he made sure we were safe and comfortable every step of the way. One standout moment was when he paused what he was doing to bring us a speaker and juice — completely free of charge. His kindness and generosity made my 30th birthday celebration truly unforgettable. Reydon’s hospitality exceeded all expectations, and I am incredibly grateful for his support and attention to detail. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a warm, caring, and attentive host!

We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment, we felt comfortable straightaway. Easy access to the beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. The buses pass right by and the yellow buses you can just put your hand out and they stop. For 3 bananas dollars fifty, which is roughly £1.30, you can travel as far as the bus goes. Restaurants we loved Local and co in Speighstown, the fish pot just past same. SeaCat and Tides in Holetown were lovely. I have to say that I lost the safe key and got onto Katie, who asked Ann her ‘fixer’ to come round. It all happened very quickly and efficiently and at very reasonable cost with a lock smith. Thanks Ann and Katie. Would highly recommend this apartment.

Our stay at Jenna's place was wonderful. We didn't have a car, so we relied on our feet or buses, or taxis. The last ones are very expensive like the whole island. It is walkable distance to Massy supermarket, and the beach. Our favorite beach was the Brownies Beach, right after the Pebbles beach. For those you have to take a bus. There are also closes beaches by the main road. I would recommend to visit Botanical Garden where they feed monkeys twice a day at 11am or 2 pm, also visit Batsheba - the most beautiful views in Caribbean, Harrison Caves - so, so, definitely overpriced. Go for a walk at the boardwalk in the evening. The boardwalk starts at Rockley beach and goes a long the coast. The apartment itself is located in beautiful natural environment, golf course with old trees. Apartment had all that you need, there is also laundromat, and by the laundromat big room full of books ...thank you Jeena and Mark for the awesome stay!

From our first enquiry to check-out, our experience with Preetam and this property was exceptional. We were traveling from Ireland with our 3-year-old and 5-month-old and were a bit nervous, but everything we needed—travel cot, highchair, baby bath, even kids' plates—was ready for us. Though there were no reviews when we booked, we were quickly reassured—the apartment was even better than the photos. Thoughtfully decorated and fully stocked, it’s clear a lot of care went into every detail. We’ve traveled a lot, and this was by far our best accommodation experience. Having the sea right outside was a real treat, and the beach was quiet and peaceful. One note: we’d have been lost without a car, as most restaurants and amenities are around 30 minutes away, there is not a lot in the immediate location. Definitely ask Preetam for restaurant/ disk recommendations! You are in for a treat! It really was the most beautiful place to stay, thank you.

Matthew and Barry's home was absolutely lovely – cozy, stylish, and incredibly welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Tony was so lovely and helpful throughout our stay – a great man who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Huge thanks to Matthew and Barry for sharing their beautiful space with us, and also a special thanks to Bernadette from afar for her part in making it all happen. Highly recommend!

Beautiful newer condo. Spotlessly clean. Walk to the beach, and to some great restaurants and bars, one of the best was right next door. Pool and outdoor shower was very nice after beach activities. Met the owner, very nice. Sad to leave this beautiful place.

We had a fantastic stay! She was incredibly helpful and quick to respond. She even arranged a taxi for us at a great rate and allowed a late checkout. The home was stocked with 6 beach towels, beach toys, 1 snorkel mask, umbrella, 2 coolers, pool + arm floaties, making it great for kids. There is a very small charcoal grill however not sure where you would use it? The pool was peaceful, clean, + rarely used by others. A few notes: only bar soap provided + 2 rolls of toilet paper. No cooking oil or coffee grounds. Listing says 8 mins to beach, but it’s really 12 mins, 18 mins w/ small kids. One day, the water was off from 10am–8pm due to a main break (affecting whole area including hotels), but a neighbor shared some water to boil—so kind! Imart is nearby, though I got food poisoning from a pint of ice cream :( Heads-up: Bus is 3.50BDS, kids under 4 ride free on your lap, there’s a 10–12% service charge at some restaurants. Overall, Carol’s hospitality/place made our trip great!
